  1. Sorry guys, I was just listening to Like a Prayer and I really can't immagine why she went out with such a weird arrangement. It really flattens every possible pic, on an anonymous and annoyng rythm base. The same thing with the God Control tunic-like costum: why so rough and lacking any kind of personality? Does anybody have an idea? (I haven't seen it yet, but - for what I could see and listen - I love the tour by now, except the opening, Crave and Like a Prayer).
  2. Well good purchase anyway, it's amazing. I would have substituted all the Maluma shit and (don't hate me) God Control with a pair of his songs to get the perfect album
  3. I clearly remember, the same exact memory and it was around the time she went on hashtagging about a mixtape ... so my hopes for a Nakhane collab come back to life!! Anyway it's just a matter of time, 15 days and, if the Superbowl rumour is true, they won't be able to keep the secret sealed anymore
  4. found this one in a good quality ... and how many of you knew that M popping out from a cake was not an MTV Video Music Awards performance original idea (seems around 1983)? I did not.
  5. Of course, if rumours are true and she's going to release something sharing the Halftime show stage, she's going to promote and release the dvd during the same time. I think it's just a matter of weeks to have official infos and release dates ... if true
  6. Even if imo the original thread was closed for reasonable causes, I would like to sincerely thank @TonyMontanafor having shared his infos with all of us. As I already said multiple times, I always appreciate generosity, so thanx man
  7. Let's hope so ... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-9130033/Madonna-thinking-casting-Florence-Pugh-play-hotly-anticipated-biopic.html?fbclid=IwAR0ogO0dUIVKiQnkfEjQwNygWURe-AeckEC_AyIOJEH4BmeBVOyjxEI01II
  8. In the meantime, finally some recognition for such a good work ... https://www.albumism.com/lists1/110-best-albums-of-the-2010s-madonna-madame-x?fbclid=IwAR3A1wMYjymnQ3-d9mpHquh-QK3ueCCIm5PV2KcX9EHjrb3q90NwrfjCSmU
  9. Under the acting point of view imo there is no chance for Garner, Florence's carisma and talent are much more impactful
  10. Or she is shooting an african video for the new EP promo! forgive my wishful thinking; but I'd really like a pair of new african songs Her silence after what happened today is strange though.
  11. And here comes the real probem for me: she undoubtebly achieved what all of her equals just touched lightly in the 80s, 90s and 00s, and yet, today, is she really comparable to Elvis or the Beatles? Of course for me she absolutely is, no doubt, in terms of cultural impact, research contribution, quality and variety of the music. But this is the real measure of an artist legacy, especially of her stature: is she rembered and told like our parents and friends did about Elvis and the Beatles with many of us? And how, what for, what does she represent in the collective imagination? And how much of this is influenced by her more recent choices in terms of image and musical direction (also about this: I loved both Rebel Heart and Madame X, wich I find underated and penalized by image mistakes and some random productions, levelled to a kind of childish taste I was really never able to understand).
  12. I was thinking that nobody ever tried to make an old concert videoediting with all the official material we have from a tour. How would it be to watch a Girle Show concert, edited with the modern technologies and taste (I clearly don't mean in the excessive videogame style she choose for her last releases)?

I'd die for a Girlie Show updated rendition with footages from Sydney, Fukuhoka and some excellent brolls like the New York or the Montreal one. Blond Ambition would be awesome too: we have Yokohama, Houston, New Jersey,  Barcellona, Nice and half of the London show from Truth or Dare, plus some good quality brolls like the Dallas one. The idea came to me watching a piece of the Fighter excellent montage of the ReInvention tour with the NY screen caps and the I'm going to tell you a secret performances ... still thank you about that @Fighter:pray:

i thought about doing this years ago but the footage we have is not very hq for todays standards so :broken: and also cropping it to widescreen would be too much i think, you'd lose a lot of the image...

Oh I see... your work for the RIT for me is still amazing anyway, watched it a few days ago and loved it

  13. I suppose I'm the only one here to be hopeful this EP, if the rumour is true, is gonna inlude at least a pair of Madame X session outtakes with political theme and afro oriented musical style ...
  14. Her best coregrapher for me, his style was too 80s breakdance-like to keep their collab alive longer but, still, I never saw M being flexible and energetic like in the 1987 tour. There have been some exceptions during the years, like Nobody knows me from RIT, Let it will be from CT or Candy shop from SAS. But that was an entire show, all performed with that crazy, determined, restless attitude. RIP Shabbadoo, you were a pioneer and a master in what you did
  15. Here I am again, giving it my usual try  Now ... everybody knows we're quite close to CHristmas and, let's be honest, it's gonna be a tough one, full of restrictions and often away from all those adorable relatives we definitely wait the whole year to meet. So how sweet would it be to have a caring present from a sensitive mate who does love M as you do and has the fortune to be in possess of one or two old unrelesed tracks that could bring a subtle, bashful smile on your gloomy face?! Oh, let ourselves be enchanted by the Christmas magic and SHARE SOME DEMOS!!! :suffer: (... I really don't know how to put this thing anymore, I tried it all, c'me ooon)

@Angeloif those who could help really wanted to help, especially in a time like this pandemic, they would help...but their concern is to get more and more stuff locked somewhere just to feed their ego, to make them feel they are better because they have what others dont have, because they have more...

@stefokeep asking, more and more, and more...

what is cute, anyway? your dog looking at you, with a sweet face begging for a bone...SO, begging is cute!

I'm not sure why everyone says its going to be an awful Christmas. So far, it is normal for me and a usual one.  We are currently permitted to have 10 in a house here. That is my normal party size lol

I understand not everyone will be able to do their normal Christmas but it could be alot worse.  So much to be thankful for.

That said, Madonna goodies are always welcome.

  16. Well, if true I'm not a big fan of Blinding Lights. Anyway this would perfectly fit the 2019 rumour I went on talking about, according wich an EP disco-oriented was already in store from the selection process of the the tracks for Madame X, the supposed "Magic - mixtape". The source at the time proved to be quite reliable.
  17. Well, I do understand her ... let's just hope they won't end up doing the same thing of cutting basically most of the artistic life in a few histerical sequences of planes, stage runnings and screaming fans. My hopes honestly are all for the way her music career affected her private life, my main curiosity is to see how she remembers the experience of her first huge tours and the pressure of media, her unbelievebly innovative relationship with the fashion industry, but most importantly how she thought up and lived the huge scandals of Like a Prayer, Erotica (do you remember the Letterman interview? ... wow), the Evita controversies in Argentina, the arrive of motherhood and the media ageism she is faceing these days. Less interested in her early days, exept the loss of her mother, and the relationship with the Studio 54 and the Factory people in NY. The things I really don't care at all are all her stories with men, sisters, brothers, friends, managers, dogs and servants The score could include also two or three new tracks, but not more than that, I believe the rumour. My huge expectation anyway is for a full album back with magical Pat: let's hope they're finding so much inspiration and fun together that songs pop out spontaneously as it happened in the old days
  18. Well man, I find your screenshots quite good and I'd really really like to have the possibility to get the download links when you'll be ready. Thanks for your work (and fuck the critics, do your thing man )
