  1. I do agree Eurovision and Graham Norton interview turned off the chance of general public interest in the UK in Madame X. The better remixes Tracy Young I Rise and Crave and Honey Dijon IDSIF came out way too late - maybe if they had been released up front at the album launch could have been helped?
  2. Also the last decade has seen almost no good remixes which the record company should be supporting - crap remix after crap remix for the last 3 albums with only the odd one here and there any good. Used to be more quality control on that front too - it's important if she wants her new music to get any airtime in clubs and support from DJs
  3. I would agree I suppose she was mentioned a lot for being pulled down the stairs at the Brits which I agree could argue shows she is was still relevant with the general public then and if it happened tomorrow it probably would get the same headlines But overall I would say the until the release of MDNA. I suppose in the UK not that many people watched the Super Bowl as is more of an US event - but I still think she was liked I mean look at the reaction she got just for turning up at the premieres all over Europe for the WE movie and all eyes were on her from the public and press and not the stars of the movie - I think just the excitement of Madonna being present overshadowed any interest in the film itself But think the singles from MDNA were so poor and badly promoted by Interscope I think that was then the general public lost alot of interest simply because the quality of the music had declined judged by the 3 singles released even if there were some great tracks on the album
  4. Really top ones Rescue Me - Bad Girl - Bedtime Story Other ones that would be good I Want You - this would have been perfect for MDNA instead of Like A Virgin (again) You'll See Nothing Really Matters but prob be lip synch as hard to sing live and sound good What if feels like for a Girl Love Profusion Voices Beautiful Killer Forbidden Love - Bedtime Stories version
  5. Sounds like they shot multiple shows and rehearsals in Lisbon, Paris and London Sounding like the odds of getting a film of the show that feels like a live show are slim if they are going to mix up multiple shows and cities - even the lighting is noticeabley different when they do that no matter how well they colour grade it in post production to make it look the same I kind of wish they would shoot multiple shows throughout the tour and then just pick the best one for the DVD or at least make it so that an entire song is from the same show
  6. I don't think much of the music in terms of instruments played on the Madame X tour was 'live' even if Madonna was singing live I don't think her band were playing live - about 18 seconds in the track skips like it is a CD. Thinking back to the band she had for The Girlie Show they were incredible everything sounded so live
  7. Her weakest selection of singles for sure but some great songs amongst the albums 1. Love Spent 2: Falling Free 3: Beautiful Killer 4: Rebel Heart (Demo Avicci version) 5: Extreme Occident 6: Future (Live version from Madame X tour) 7: I Don't Search I Find (Honey Dijon Club Mix) 8: Ghostown 9: I'm A Sinner 10: Some Girls
  8. Its a masterpiece - the first time I heard it was on the radio when they interviewed her for Radio 1 and was blown away and knew it would be a huge record for her as it's so credible from a songwriting and production point of view I loved the performance on the Confessions tour the most I think it was the perfect choice to be the opening track on the Ray of Light album Also the BT & Sasha remix was epic too - so good
  9. I don't care how long we wait if it's really well done . These films of her tours are such a massive part of her legacy as an artist I just hope the film does it justice
  10. Confessions Blond Ambition - so iconic both the ponytail and the curls
  11. I think Stuart Price did the mixing on those 2 - would love her to work with him again for her live shows as he knows what sounds great
  12. Yeah I agree ref Demo Castellon and really hope she will go back to Warners - moving to Live Nation might have a been a good move for touring but not for her recording career
  13. Rescue Me, Bad Girl, Get Together If you asked Madonna this question might be : Candy Shop, Human Nature, Spanish Lesson
  14. I agree it's highly likely all the screen footage from every show has been recorded and kept locked up archived somewhere since Who's That Girl. For MDNA and Rebel Heart they clearly used alot of the screen footage in the edit from a ton of different shows - no wonder it took so long until we got the DVDs if they were working with screen footage from every show
  15. I can believe it - it seems that another organisation posted the tracks to her You Tube account 'Provided to YouTube by Rhino/Warner Records' I think record labels pay third parties to load tracks up just to generate some advertising clicks from the ads that go with them - think that's why there has been loads of random non official live recordings loaded onto her You Tube account too looks like they just throw them in. Have noticed this happening to other artists You Tube accounts too. Maybe is the same sort of thing uploading the maxi single to the streaming platforms. Can't complain though as the maxi single remixes were great. I doubt her current team have any control over what Warners do or let other people do with her records made while signed to Warners?
  16. Love the Bottom Heavy Dub, Love In the Nature Mix and Runway Club mix The quality of the remixes off the Bedtime Stories album were fantastic - such credible mixes that got played by top DJs and helped to keep her the right side of cool at the time. Wish we had the same quality of remixes on more recent singles
  17. Love the Danny Tenaglia remixes - wish he remixed more of her tracks
  18. I love the video though as was the first video in such a long time that not shot in a studio but had some outside scenes - maybe since Hung Up and Sorry had a couple of outside scenes and before then What If Feels like for a Girl was probably the one before those that had something outside a studio in it. Liked how it was shot with the summer light and liked the fans in the background running alongside the car. I do think the vocals are too pitched up and over processed and would have sounded a lot less shrill and better without having her voice altered so much - I guess they thought it would make her sound younger and more carefree. On this clip - it has Turn Up The Radio with the vocals pitch shifted back down at about 30 seconds the before and after.
  19. I don't think she will - I think she is only interested in touring new material and throws in a few token back catalogue tracks as a necessary thing to do to sell more tickets
