Something tells me the positive reaction to her Billboard speech is inspiring this a bit. So I could see her focusing on the backlashes she's received for Erotica/SEX/Like a Prayer/Papa Don't Preach as well as her rape, losing friends to AIDS... gosh this sounds like a tragedy. 

I thought she was writing the script for Greta Walls herself, so it must have been the dancer movie. 
I think it would be nice to find someone who hasn’t worked with her before. Would be great to use a female director.

I personally think they should create a separate chart for the  most streamed songs, but not include that in the main charts. For me I often stream stuff I’ve heard about to just hear what it sounds like out of curiosity not because I actually like it.  I don’t think streaming is an accurate reflection of music people actually love. 

I dont think she will be the director. That would be a total mess.

I think that’s a bit unfair. When he was alive she often mentioned how his style of music and dancing was an inspiration to her and when she first started she wanted to be the female Michael Jackson. MJ since he was a child star was successful before she was and thus was an inspiration and influence on her. 

True. Also Gaga grew up in an elitist environment in Manhattan. I think you need to have someone who understands and can embody  the Midwest working class sensibility. That is key to Madonna’s personality. You can take the girl out of the Midwest, but not the Midwest out of the girl.

This is true but what I'm saying is I hope they don't end this movie at the same spot. We know it'll be impossible to cover her entire career but it would blasphemy is they wrap the story up too early. I think Blond Ambition is a good ending mark. 

I'm curious to see if Sean Penn will be in the plot and if Madonna will reveal the abuse? I mean, they're close friends now so I wouldn't think she would want the world pissed off at him if she told the truth about all the crazy shit he did to her during their marriage. 
 
And I REALLY hope they don't end the movie right when she becomes a successful artist. That Madonna TV movie ended that way and it would seem like they just copied it. I think ending the movie with Express Yourself from Blond Ambition would be perfect with text before the credits describing all the accomplishments she made afterwards.

Maybe Madonna wants to remember some good times and without judgement or thinking the worst on someone? That pic was taken in the best of times in their careers and I’m sure it’s fun to remember back and what they once shared. 

I love these shots of Madonna writing on the laptop. Nothing says "deep in the flow of writing" than a well-lit photo op with a laptop.

and yeah the hydroxy mess was shitty but they both posted it, it's normal if there are more people in madonna's circle that believe in the same stuff she does....., i dont wanna blame him for how weird she is sometimes without more evidence that its his influence just bc he likes weed and music...... this gut feeling people have seems kinda too vague imo...

But that's just projecting.  You literally have zero idea if her relationship is based on "buying into youth culture".  Can it be read that way from the outside?  Sure.  But you're saying these things as though they're established facts, when it's just as possible that she is in love with this guy because she worked with him day in and day out, and thus got to know him and his personality, etc.  I think it's just as likely that she, like many other average, everyday people, got to know a person in a working environment and organically developed romantic feelings for him.  To state that your own read on M's/Malik's intentions are factual only highlights your own biases and prejudices that are based on your own assumptions.

I neither like him or dislike him. I don’t have enough information to have an opinion. How is he putting himself out there? He hasn’t done any interviews or released any music yet. 
It just seems odd to me to say you dislike someone, compare them to Bobby Brown, but say you don’t know why. 

the pre-fame story is the obvious choice, but must admit i'd love to see behind the scenes after she shot to incredible fame and her life become a public domain.

I think it's easy to have this take, but I think the reason she goes for younger men is because she wants people like her, fun, open-minded, curious, adventurous, unfortunately most people lose that as they age. 
She also doesn't buy into youth culture, she's always liked a wide variety of things, she's open minded and fun, and I don't think she wants to stop being that. It really isn't that deep.
