OK but this is a good excuse to share one of my fave M's middle 8s ever and sadly quite forgotten now:
    "The Look Of Love"
My conscience is clear I know right from wrong
That's a lie I know nothing except that you're gone
But there's more to learn from the look in your eyes
That a trip round this world or the stars in the sky
    AMAZING pop melody and lyrics.
NOTHING can touch her 80s middle 8s. They're pop perfection. Even on album tracks:

Actually it would have counted as two as  @Prayer   stated as well:

This. The double "Rebel Heart" album would have counted as two and Live Nation/Interscope said "no, bitch".
What an era, really. From the endless tracklist with a thousand songs covering every commercial angle possible to all the drama and non-stop promotion: Grammys and Brits at the same time, her doing even the little newspaper interviews... she was everywhere. When she didn't get anything out of all of that work she just said "f**k it" and then we got "Madame X" next. "If they don't care anyway I'm gonna do exactly what I want".
I love "Rebel Heart" but probably is her most dated Interscope album now, even more than "MDNA". The songs, structures and production choices are very... well, 2014-2015.

I'm sure the experts can correct me, but a double album probably would dip in the contractual agreement of  what was agreed on, initially.  So if there was a three album deal, a double album may have kept a future album (Madame X) from happening.  I feel she still got her way with three versions of the album.  It's just a shame that the standard doesn't include the title track.

I've practically bought M's whole catalog and many other artists Vinyl in the last two months. Vinyl is expensive, and there seems to be a demand for it.  Streaming may be the thing, bit a lot of people still want physical copies of their favorite artist.  Relying on streaming is foolish. The moment things go dark (no internet) you'll always be able to rely on the physical copies.

Very impressed.  Doing pretty damn good considering the "lack of promo" (as some claim) it's getting.  LOL!

Fortunately, Finally Enough Love features most of her classic dance songs, so she just has to pick and choose.   Even if she calls the tour "Finally Enough Love", I'm sure she'll be throwing in songs beyond that album like she's done with her previous tours.  I'm betting there will be new songs as well.  We know she was in the studio with Sickick recording new songs, so it makes sense something will come from that too.  I would supposed the tour theme will be more celebratory of her 40 years in the business than focused on one particular album.

I don't think they're doing more than 1 big release each year, honestly. She's going on tour this year, that's already less money on fans' pockets. If they do more than a big reissue this year, some of them are gonna do bad or not that good as they could.
I think "Madonna 40" is the one. The tour is gonna be a 40 years greatest hits celebration.
"Finally Enough Love" was a good blueprint for what we can expect:
    - Big and expensive limited edition box
    - Standard Edition
    - Deluxe Edition
    - Multiple vinyl versions
Maybe for "Ray Of Light 25" we'll get the digital maxis and remastered videos treatment, same as with "Erotica 30", but that doesn't exclude a future proper reissue if they want to.

I think ROL seems like a logical first choice as it was so huge and regarded as her best work, it should bring in a lot of interest. Then moving onto the First Album.

Hey, enjoy the ride!    She's 64.  She isn't ever going to top the charts and be the phenomenon she used to be.  Whatever the new generation latches on, it is what it is.  We can sit here sounding like our grandparents, complaining of the current generation taste, or just be happy that her music is still catching people's ears.  And to be quite frank, I'm not sure people latched onto this song because it has anything to do with Madonna.  It's a catchy song to use for their tiktok videos and it caught on.  Why fight it?  Hate it or love it, it's happening whether you like it or not.  I don't think anyone is thinking this will become some phenomenal hit that defines her.  Still, it keeps her among the current music scene which is important if we want future generations to appreciate her catalog.  It might be small to you, but believe it or not, moments like this introduce Madonna to new fans, and that's what we want if we want Madonna's legacy to live on.
By the way, I agree I wish it was a far more greater song from her catalog that was making a mark right now, but at least it's something a bit more current, which will show Madonna is able to reach more than just those people from the 80's and 90's.

I want to agree, unless they decide to kick it off with ROL 25.  That's coming up in February, and Frozen will be celebrating its 25th anniversary late this month.  But we've been down this road with Erotica 30.

Adonna got a reaction from Rebel Hugo in Rolling Stone 200 Best Singers of All Time doesn’t include Madonna anywhere - Is this what it’s come to?
That was my first thought, but it's really an odd omission, when you look at who they chose and why they say they chose them.  It's not necessarily how well of a voice one has.  It's supposed to be about originality, influence, the depth of one's catalog and their music legacy. And while there seems to be many legit choices who fit their criteria, there are others who we know were deeply influenced by Madonna and even compared to Madonna on that list, yet she was omitted?  Madonna fits their criteria, but oddly left off.  It's not even about who is popular because there are some people on the list, many wouldn't even know who they are.  A number of the chosen are no longer making music or even alive anymore.
Here is an example.  No disrespect to SZA, but what sort of influence, legacy and depth in her catalog allows her to meet the critera, but not Madonna?  SZA has only just begun her career.  Only to score her first top ten in the last couple of years.  I'm sure many people here have never heard of her or can name a hit song by her?  Even if someone can validate her influence and depth in her catalog, does it really compare to Madonna's?

Of course! I agree with you. It may be meaningless to us, but the list is being quite actively scrutinized all over the internet, and mostly because of Celine Dion being absent from it. The list still counts whether or not we agree with it.

Or it could be an individual who wanted to share something she was excited about.  I don't believe she deserves to be fired over this.  Seems silly and a bit dramatic to fire someone over something that doesn't harm anyone.  It's not like rumors haven't been flying about  tour anyway.  No one knows the status of this woman's obligations when she posted her comment, but obviously since she deleted her comment, something transpired.  To me, this isn't about a matter of professionalism, or trying to leak anything, but someone excited and eager about her job.  I don't believe for a second, Madonna fired her over this.

I like this too, but the one chosen fits the song better.  The one chosen makes her appear as if she's dancing to the song and the cover has a retro feel which the song has as well.

Adonna reacted to PlayPause in We Are The World - Who blocked Madonna from singing on the charity single?
She's been writing checks for 35 or 40 years to fight against AIDS and to help people with it.
She funded hospitals in Malawi and funds a charity organization called Raising Malawi.
So maybe you believe in the narrative that she doesn't have the spirit, but she does take action, and it has been reported that she has been giving a lot of money to different charities for a long time, without publicity.
