I know the feeling, at some point after Ray of light I was like nope I can't hold my phone steady - too much wine lmfao but she def sang Frozen bahaha

:)) I am sure she did. Don't count me on that. Thanks for flagging my delusional remark haha

I was going through an emotional rollercoster due to songs or backdrops  that I never thought I would see or listen live, such as Erotica and on top of that You thrill me, Justify my love, Bad Girl, and Reinvention opening!!!,

  2. Hi everyone,

I got tickets for both nights but now I have to see the one for the Thursday, January 11 TORONTO show.

I bought it resale so unfortunately it is more expensive than what you would pay when buying as a regular.

it is in Section 320, front row.

Let me know if you are interested. I am happy to sell it at its cost (i can also show you the receipt.)

  3. Hopefully, it does happen some time soon. Both are having another peak lately. Kylie's revival is so so so good (Album demos are promising, like the lead single.)

I was thinking... I think Kylie and many other women artists should continue to fangirl her (forever) cos Madonna continues paving the way for them (Recall the narrow-minded hateful and sexist dialogues about M's music, dancing, shows, songs, costumes etc after she turned 50.) Today, there seems to be no discussion concerning  'how Kylie is 50 and still trying (hard) to produce hits, how she is desperate to stay relevant and appeal to tictock and young generation, how she is not dressing appropriately, how she does not age gracefully etc.

Of course, things change over time and it is not solely Madonna's doing. Yet, I think she plays a significant role in such changes in a way no artist has previously done or will ever be able to do in future.

Today, she have been taking tons of shit again and paving another alternative way to being 60 in the music business and in life.

Sam is promoting this Vulgar club event taking place right now in NYC... where both Sam and M just happen to be. :) Let's wish they are both at the club shooting Vulgar visuals.

Fingers crossed! That would be epic! Hope she gets  much more vulgar than her haters and some illiberal so-called fans claim she is.

I have a feeling that it will zoom up the UK charts.  There seems to be a love/hate relationship going on with Madonna in the UK, and I feel right now there is an overwhelming positive appreciation of her currently.

I'll be curious how well this does in the U.S.  I believe we will see good positions on digital and streaming charts which gives a good indication how well the song is received.  Now as for radio?  While I don't hear anything too racy to keep it from radio, but it might still be a bit too out there for top 40 radio to play it on a regular basis.  We'll have to see.

I'm excited about this because I really feel she has a chance to gain another top 10 hit, even in the U.S. that's if this gets radio support and a proper single release.  Our only other hope is if streaming goes through the roof with the song.

    Hopefully!

Tabloid hate towards Madonna in the UK is enough for dozens of phd projects! Interesting to see how sexism and misogyny are so welcomed in Brit media.

Yes, let's hope that she gets what she deserves.

I think he will play part very much like the narrator did in Britney's Onyx Tour

    Agree!

Based on what I have been seeing on her Ig, I anticipate that ballroom scene will be influencing the whole concert or a large segment of it and thus I kinda assume Bob will play a role similar to Pray Tell (Billy Porter) in the tv series Pose. It could be cool if not overdone or overtakes the musicality of the event.

  7. Everything aside, her never-ending energy, joy, enthusiasm, curiosity, excitement for life and fun is unmatchable and very inspiring to me. No dullness in her eyes or body language!

Whenever someone closer to 30 (or X)  starts talking about getting old, getting  tired easily or not feeling excited for 'fun' etc, I just think of this amazing creature and try to send myself into a trance full of images and videos of her like this one.

  8. 'Paris is Burning' is a great documentary, but there are also many ethical issues with it. I recommend you look at some some of the criticism around how it was shot, used, narrated and circulated etc. Director, who is a white cis woman,  exploited the people in the documentary, their life and vulnerabilities.

Nonetheless it is a great document shedding light onto what could have remained unseen otherwise.

Streets are saying these are all samples?? :Madonna041:

Rumour has it that Chris involved in producing Madonna's next album, and these are the outtakes from those session.

It kinda sounds plausible when considered that Madonna is not the type of artist that would go in studio just for other people's songs.

  10. Chris does great quality music! His sound is quite fresh and artistic, rather than redundant. I am quite excited to hear the collabs! Hopefully, M sings but not in a 'Champagne Rose' way.

Also, please pay a little bit of attention to not misgender Chris despite otherwise having been voiced many times. We already see and live in quite troubling times for trans folks especially in the US.
