I never listen to Kylie. The only reason I got into these discussions was because of the constant comparisons made here. I’ve checked out a couple of her videos out of curiosity, but I mostly rely on stats from wiki (about k )to make my point.😁

Ok. A song that featured Madonna heavily was a bigger hit in Kylie’s own native country than Padam. And Kylie had neither writing nor production credits for the song which peaked at 19 (11 slots lower than Popular ). How much of the song’s moderate success is thanks to Kylie.
