I apologize my beautiful vote-aholics. I have been quite ill recently, but I know that I have a job to do, so let's get to work. So, let's get started...

FIRST, let's review those songs that only got one vote or none at all:

As you can see, that list was longer than usual...which left the countdown very, VERY tight (no pun intended). So darn tight, that five of the songs (with only one vote) made the Countdown. They are the last five songs (#s 30-26) of the Countdown. They were placed according to however the song was placed on the voter's list. (I took whichever number they made it on each personal countdown and compared.)

Now, let's review the rules of the game again (which, will be played just as it was last time):

1. There will only be ONE trivia question per session (I will choose from the songs that are in the bidding - - every five numbers - - and whoever gets back to me first with the CORRECT answer gets to move a song or replace a song.

2. YES! even the songs above are for grabs; if you are the one who voted for one of these songs and you love it so much, you may move it. Of course you may choose from a song that IS in the countdown, but either way you only get to replace one song with another outright, or move one song all the way to the bottom, therefore moving everything else up one. NOW, to be fair to me (and I am on EASTERN STANDARD TIME), if someone does not respond to me by 6 pm every other day (the days of the Countdown, as of course the trivia question days alternate with the listed numbers) with the CORRECT answer, then I get to move or replace one of my favorites.

I really thought that the controversy was going to come in on the last Countdown (2000-2008). But I was wrong! The controversy circulated in this Countdown, all around "Heartbreak City". A great song, definitely one of the finer moments of the 'Rebel Heart' tour, to be perfectly honest I thought that it was going to end up at #1 here, the way it kept moving up.

I appreciate all of my vote-aholics, staying tuned. We are at the final stretch now, with the Ultimate Countdown, taking the top 10 songs of the last four Countdowns, and combining them to see what is #1. Stay tuned for that, due to start on March 9.
