Bobo got a reaction from madaboutM in Love and R. E. S. P. E. C. T.
I love and respect Madonna. So I'm going to name five things that makes me feel that way about her. I'd love for you to join in. Let's celebrate her with some good vibes. It's great for karma.
1. Fearless
So many examples, but risking arrest during Blond Ambition and the crucifixion during Live To Tell comes to mind. Like A Prayer video, and Sex too.
2. Smart
Reported intelligence quotient of 140.
3. Embraces change
Now lives in Portugal.
4. Writes great ballads and hooks
I don't really appreciate any pop artists as much as I do her for this.
5. Challenges herself
She never takes the easy road.

@NowRadiateA collaboration with AIR would have been such a dream come true.
I would really enjoy something with Madonna and any of these folks: Sting, Siouxsie Sioux, Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, Marilyn Manson, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave, The Chemical Brothers, Orbital, The Prodigy, Grimes and Courtney Love. That's just my particular taste and curiosity with how her voice would gel.
Sadly, we really missed out on ever hearing her with George Michael, Bowie and Jackson.
Ravi Shankar would have been beautiful.

Air feat. Madonna
Daft Punk feat. Madonna
A Jamiroquai-penned song and production for Madonna
But all kind of stuck in the 90s...
Was hoping for a collab with Nakhane, waiting for the album to hear how it turned out.

Bobo got a reaction from A. A. Aardvark in Why wasn't ghosttown a hit for MADONNA
Maybe it was just boring. I never liked it. The production on it felt generic. Thrown together, like Love Spent and Masterpiece. Good songs on paper but wasted in the studio.

Bobo got a reaction from Fontainebleau in Could a Madonna movie be huge as Bohemian Rhapsody?
I think she won't be appreciated as much as she deserves in her lifetime, sadly. But she hasn't taken an easy road either. I wonder if social media existed in Diana's lifetime if the public would have been so fickle with her too, but at least Diana's charity work, role as a mother and humanitarian causes weren't overlooked while she was alive. Still though, her private life was scrutinised and gossiped about relentlessly. I think a film showing how Madonna balances/balanced the scrutiny of her fame with her work and family could really only be lovingly done by her children. It could really only come from them. But it's kind of morose to think about now. Miles to go until that happens.

Fortunately Madonna's relationship with her children is quite good (as far as we know), so at least we won't get a Mommie Dearest... "No wire hangers!!!"

I'd rather she didn't make it herself as it would be self serving. I don't think a biopic is something we'll see for a long time. At least, not a good one. Maybe a long time from now Lola might be involved in doing something in some capacity. That's the only way I can see it happening, through one of her children, but a very long time from now.

Bobo reacted to kesiak in Things I loved about the 2010s
You realise the topic was what you LOVED about 2010s? There's half a dozen threads at any given moment here discussing everything people hate about the past decade so why contribute to this one? Just saying...
Anyway. The MDNA Tour was spectacular and Rebel Heart Tour was my absolute favourite time seeing Madonna live. I feel like we got a bit of old "spunky" Madonna back in 2010s which I welcomed.

Bobo reacted to poserdemadonna in Fever music video
It was not a video made to be aired on TV, it was supposed to be screened at clubs back then, that's why it's so flashy and bouncy. It made a killer backdrop for clubs.
