I decided to an updated one with her remaining work from 2013-2021, and since 3D printing is now a thing + my designing skills have gotten better with age lol, here is the final result of the updated Madonna Monopoly!

I had so much fun doing it, I'm especially proud of the tiny 3D printed stages, they look sooo cool and really add another level of fun to the gameplay

Fave: Herb Ritts, 'San Pedro' December 1989, later used in the Blond Ambition tour book, Interview magazine and The Immaculate Collection artwork.
Least: Hard Candy by Steven Klein. A mess. Total mess. The only shot that worked was the one that they used on the cover on Interview magazine in 2008. Tom Munro did a much better job on that theme for the Sticky & Sweet tour book.

I think RH is her best album of the past decade. Great songwriting, bad choices in terms of production. She will never do that, but it would be so nice.

While there is some truth in that, cosmetic surgery isn't exactly the problem. Sometimes yes her face looks very puffy and not at all reminiscent to the woman we used to know but, had she done nothing at all to herself, she would have gotten the same backlash. The only reason she can sing bops like Faz Gostoso or Unapologetic Bitch is because she doesn't look or move like her age would suggest. So in this century where people idolize Kylie Jenner, whose face looks quite close to Madonna's age by now, I cannot accept that surgery or other intervention is what alienates people. I can't think of any woman at Madonna's age that sells as much as she does. She could have looked amazing like JLo who is younger, sure. JLo doesn't sell either. Cher had some minor success only connected to her film career. Madonna's success waned because she got old. Of course she could be selling a bit more with some better moves but I don't think anything about her is the problem. Judging from her peers, she is still on top of all. Europe by the way, a continent quite old demographically, still has a lot of respect for Madonna. South America loves her too. It's mostly the US that are always looking for the next it thing. 

Rebel Heart is nos as bad as Hard Candy or MDNA imo but it could be a little different. Here´s my version:

In 2012 I made a custom Madonna Monopoly on Photoshop for a fellow friend that is also a fan. I'd forgotten all about it but he sent me pics to remind me, and I remember how much I enjoyed making it - I need to do an updated 2020 one! 




The "airports" are tours and each house is a studio album! Prison is the MDNA Tour's golden triangle with the Sorry cage.



I used an Euro Monopoly set for the currency, houses and dice.



The tokens are four crystal-embedded "M D N A" letters in honor of her latest album at the time.
