I've got a feeling the clear vinyl will be the rarest. Indie exclusives (red) tend to be plentiful, as do Amazon exclusives (silver).

Potentially the black with the free slipmat, if it's genuinely exclusive and not included with every copy.

Agreed, the red seems the most widely available across vendors. If the Walmart red truly has a slightly different cover that might be the most rare. Amazon I don't know.. on Amazon Germany it's sold out, but if it's still available on US/UK that doesn't seem very limited. So, I think clear and/or slipmat as well.

  2. From the US, I almost always had to pay. Last time it was for the V magazines, that cost me a fortune. For the UK it hasn't happened yet...

I haven’t paid for US imports in a while, but probably luck of the draw. Frankly, I think it’s quite silly Madonna doesn’t have more local online stores, like most artists now, so fans can avoid charges like this (esp for products such as these that are actually made in the EU)..

  3. If I remember well, you bought your copy from Dig. How much do you think we will pay in custom/import taxes from Uk to Europe for an item costing 165 euros?

It varies per country. Here in the Netherlands, you’d pay over the entire total (so incl. Shipping, 180euro), and I think it’s around 23 percent. However, in my experience, whether or not you’ll be charged custom fees is somewhat random, depends on if the invoice is complete and how busy it is at customs. I didn’t pay any custom fees over Mariah’s 4LP rarities set last year from the US, which was also quite pricey.

Yes, I loved their mockup concept for the album art packaging. I thought it was iconic and that it would have been more appealing to younger fans. I'm a little disappointed in the chosen cover design for the 6-LP package, but oh well, at lease the tracks list is fab!

I love this! I find the chosen 6lp design quite dated and much prefer the standard, but oh well.

Is it really a limited edition?

It says Only Exclusive but not that it's limited.  The clear vinyl of Madame X is still available on the official store after 3 years.

Her official site and the rhino press release label the 6lp a limited edition; however, we don't know how limited it truly is (speculation is 6000, which at that price, shouldn't make it too difficult to get).

So is the 6 LP set a UK exclusive? Thanks for the link, I'm about to pull the trigger, but I'd like to avoid the customs charges if possible.

I suspect it's primarily a "store exclusive" but she her store and stock for it seems to always ship from the UK when ordering in Europe, so prob difficult to avoid custom duties.
