What I don't understand about all of this is why in Japan can make a box set with her singles from 1983 to 1995 with versions released only on vinyl with an amazing quality but now they use CDrips to make the album anniversary of "True blue". How does it work? What did the Japanese Warner used to do that compilation? Some times I think that it's that they just don't care but here, on the forum, someone told that Rusty Egan was asked for the masters of "Everybody" to use them on future releases. If I'm not wrong in 2004 (more or less) there were rumors about Caresse (I think it was she) was taking all the masters of what Madonna was recorded and released to digitalized them too and "Celebration" had a sticker saying "Remastered using the original tapes". That's what I don't understand about all this. Who has the masters? Warner Japan? Madonna? What about the remixes used in compilatios like the edit of "Lucky star" or "Causing a commotion" included on the Gold Discs TM Century? I guess Warner had to give them the song to add it... Don't know, I'm completly lost with this situation... About the "True blue" edition... I think it's just OK, good for the general public and that's all... The intentions were good but as she sang in for Minutes "The road to hell..."

Because they are waiting to add the correct files as the surprise of the 40th annyversary :P The edits and remix edits will be for the 45th and "Ain't no big deal" probably for the 50th

DickTracy is right. I've took a look at the original CD bootleg and talks about how women should be free to take their own decitions and not the law. I think the album is like a new "Papa don't preach" thing but as an album and for charity,

I have a friend who loves classical music and knows much about it and I asked that question too... He said that it didn't sound familiar to him, that for him it was something done just for the tour.

Because she makes rehearsals for months befor starting the tour... And it's not a new song, there was a time when she knew the full lyrics... She don't have to learn it again, just refresh her memory. Anyway, I think when she does it on tour is just to make people sing the song, not because she forgot the lyrics. And if she forget it, she has that guy on her ear saying the words.

Maybe it's just the "clothes" she's wearing... For me on videos like "Turn up the radio" they look too up, and I think that she has great tits in a more "natural position"... but she wears what she wants and if she likes that way for me it's ok. In JPG runway her tits were not on her chin... :P

I didn't write in this topic before because I wanted to see what happened before writing something... What I think now is that the only problem was they way it was announced. If it was something like "Come see Madonna in the club and help her with a charitable act" I think it would have been better. The problem for me were the expetations with all that "God is cuming" and talking about art and things like that. People started to think "Is Madonna, so it will be something really big for her career". I think it was just a nice moment to the people that was there and I think they have so much fun (Madonna included) doing this and that's how people should have been seen it. Is not the first time Madonna makes this, we saw her going to clubs to sing "Hung up" with the confessions, she was in a club when "MDNA" was released but it wasn't promoted this way. I think that's the only problem with all of this. To talk about if she's lost her magic or that she is not what she used to be watching this, I think it's just stupid because I don't see this as part of her career. I see this as something she wanted to do and that's all. I don't see this as part of her work, I don't know if you know what I mean. About the pictures... I think she looks great and I can see her face on it. Yeah, she's done things on her face but when I look at them I can see Madonna and her attitude. Some are ok, some good, some great but I see Madonna the Queen of Pop in all of them.

So now people see that they promote things that never get uploaded... So the general public who was waiting for "Justify my love" and now "Papa don't preach" are thinking "Wow, it must be true that Madonna is very professional and has all the control in the things she does with her work"... I see all this more like a lack of interest in doing things right than something done to promote the June 24th...

It could be the reason but, what about "Justify my love"? This is not the first time and I'm sure it won't be the last... I can see what you say if she was interested in uploading something new, for example a video for "I don't search I find" and suddenly appears the other project and she says "I want all the attention in the new thing" but with "Papa don't preach"? I think only fans will be interested in going to see it in the moment it's released. The general public won't go to her youtube channel saying "Wow! Finally Papa don't preach in HD, I have to see it". About the "June 24th" thing... If she didn't know 10 days ago when the announced of "Papa don't preach" was done that she was going to do something new is because it's not something so special, just something done in the last minute...

I think the same... Nobody was waiting for the video, if they say nothing there would be no problem at all... That's what I don't understand about this... First "Justify my love", now "Papa don't preach"... It would be better say nothing and have the surprise like they did with other videos that we didn't expect...

I was thinking about it and I guess when she says "I lost my shoe" she's not talking about the moment she take them off. I think she throw the shoes and when she was down on stage she didn't find one of them and, in that moment she saw, it and when for it rolling on the floor... but with Madonna, who knows? I think is more strange when she talks about Martin being on stage with her...

I think that would be great if she uploads the GAY Pride performance she did two years ago the same way she uploaded the MET Gala on her birthday...

I think that's a good interpretation of the song... What I'd like to know is what "Brain inside, my only friend" means and "Hope it gives me birth each new"... I'm from Spain, and I think this is the first time I have a problem trying to understand what she means

I think would be nice an online concert with some songs of the tour as a promotion before releasing the final stream, dvd, blu-ray or what she wants to realise...

I remember two dreams... The first one was that a radio station phoned me to make me a question. I answered it right and I won 20.000 tickets one of her concerts... So I went to the show (it was in Barcelona) with all my family, friends and lots of people that I didn't know (but it was like if I was a friend of the 20.000 people) in a plane. Once there Pedro Almodovar was in the airport and told me "Hi, Jose, you're the winner of the 20.000 tickets?" and he asked me to give him one and he'd invited me to a party made for Madonna (and the other 20.000 persons were invited too...). There I met her just 2 seconds but she asked me for my phone number. After the so I went back home and days later my phone started ringing. There ware fireworks around the phone and I could see "Madonna" written on my phone screeen... But then I woke up so I don't know what she wanted to tell me... The second one was during "Blond Ambition Tour" in Japan. The night with the storm that we see on "Truth or dare". I was part of the public and during "Express yourself" the wind was really strong and it took me to the stage and I fell against her so she was very angry with me because she had to start again the show. I was like "Oooops..."

At least in Spain it was used to promote the movie. They used "Like a virgin" and "Holiday" live and "Promise to try" (montage of the movie scene and album version with the intro cut). I have a video downloaded years ago and it starts with the "Madonna" and "Promise to try" written on a black background (or something like that). The video I watched in Spanish television didn't have it. Maybe the fan made you're talking about is this one. About the one used on Spain, I only watched it in one channel (but several times) so maybe there was made by them and not send as a promo video from Warner, but at least it was aired here to promote "Truth or dare".

I think that's the only thing people say when they don't get what they want. The full "Virgin Tour"? It's lost, the "Blond Ambition Tour" from Paris? For years it was lost, the bad quallity of "Celebration" CD? The masters were lost. The "Celebration" DVD? The masters were lost... Everytime the same... What about "Celebration" uploaded on her youtube channel in 240p??? Is that because the master was lost? I doubt it... We're talking about Madonna... On the "Like a virgin" era they recorded the audio of all the shows to see what worked or not (said by Patrick Leonard), it's been told that she saved all her screen recordings of her shows, there were people in the 80's that said that she even recorded a rehearsal of "Speed the plow" for her personal use too... She has the tapes she recorded in her early years as we can see on her instagram videos, all her diaries and when it comes to her work being one of the greatest artist in history they lost it or don't store it?? I doubt it. I start to think that what happens is tha Madonna has all those masters stored and the people who makes this doesn't have access to it... I can see it... Guy: Madonna, they want to upload your videos in HD but we need the masters... Madonna: Oh, I'm really busy... tell them that I have them in LA and now I'm in New York, Londo, Lisbon or whatever... Guy: But your fans are always asking for that, I'm bored of ignore them Madonna: My fans? Do you want me to give them the videos in HQ for free? They even paid for "Celebration"... Let's wait and when everybody has their videos in 4K or more I will make a blu-ray with mine in 1080p to sell them, but never for free.
