The thing is those were intentional so i never understood those complaints lol i actually found it interesting showing different outfits and cuts for those releases. The one thing i DIDNT like were the clear differences between SD footage and HD footage.

I felt like this photoshoot was sorta mocking the whole over editing/photoshopping. In fact, I always felt that's what Madonna sorta has been doing since she joined social media. I felt like a lot of what she does is to mock the whole process, to over saturate the format with ridiculousness that is always been before she joined.
I think the way the youngins have been using VHS and analog aesthetics a few years ago, now the early y2k pixelated low definition is being used. Right now its all about y2k fashion and aesthetics.

Pat McGrath posted this a few hours ago...something else is coming? She is an insanely famous makeup artist, is recieving tons of praise for the china doll look for Maison Margiela. Could it be for another photoshoot? Could it be for a video? Could it be for a lipstick collab? Idk...but very intersting! Could also be absolutely nothing lol

I thought for Confessions the used a mix of footage from the main 2 nights they filmed Tuesday and Wednesday but mainly the audio from the first night which wasn't her birthday. Also think some footage for some songs were recorded on the Sunday plus a rehearsal is rumoured to have been filmed for some of the close ups. It was so well edited you don't notice too much that it is from different shows unless your really looking for the differences
Sorry, yes it was two shows with one of them being her bday. And yes, rehearsals too...a friend kept telling me LOOK AT HER HAIR! Lol

I'm going to say something I know will get me banned...I cannot watch Frozen without thinking how f*cking awful that wig looks. She seriously has had the WORST wigs. Madame X i couldn't take ANY of the visuals seriously because she looked like f*cking Moira Rose!!!

I think it looks better and is actually a great photo BUT...we are so used to it by now. There are definitely other ways to explore religion and sex visually than what she has been serving. She looks good though and the airbrushing actually looks like her rather than an AI toddler dressed like her!

I have theory about the character Madonna is playing in the music video. The woman was in so much distress, she considered commiting a suicide, but after she washed herself in the sea, she cleansed herself and changed her mind, leading her to move on, as we see her sitting on the beach.
In general green is used to symbolize insanity. Whether its intentional or unintentional, quite fitting!

No...confessions was filmed in august, one show being her birthday (but they didn't use birthday footage, minus one birthday sign a fan had) and aired first for Thanksgiving in America. S&S they didn't air it until the UK shows for round 2. In the US we didnt get it until VH1 aired a 30 min version I think late 09 or early 10 pretty much right before the bluray.

You’ll have to forgive me, ITG in its non-remixed form was pretty elusive here in the states for many years. I had that cd single as an import at one point and remember thinking the Celebration version didn’t sound that different.
I had an old Back-2-Back cassingle of ITG & DYU at one point in the early 90s too, god knows what was on that. I have the Angel 12” that I bought used around the same time but only played it a couple times.
The only "different" version is the remix off YCD and TIC. The singles/LAV album/Celebration are the original version (unless you count the demo used in "Susan"). Celebration is just really loud. Lol

Well...Power of Goodbye was originally omitted on the video collection when it was 92:99 but was allegedly changed to avoid the parental advisory due to Erotica so it was replaced with POG and titled 93:99...maybe she really didnt like the video at the time but she looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And love that green hue. They say green is used to symbolize insanity in film and perhaps it shows her charscter's state of mind in the video which ultimately leads to her suicide.

Yes, that is true. They could very well do that but on the other hand, since it was only a b-side for a track that was already a single and looking at Secret missing Let Down Your Guard, I also wouldn't be surprised if they didnt.

Initially yes, but he really became the poor man's terry richardson. I mean we can't blame him, I know i would definitely do whatever it took to stay with M but now instead of unairbrushed posts we have her looking like an alien toddler with thyroid problems and that is NOT how she looks. I can only think of those birthday pics one of friends posted unairbrushed and she looked so beautiful cut to his where they dont loo right.

My dream album would be an album with Trent/Atticus and Anthony Gonzales (M83). She should've really done this for Rebel Heart
