It would make total sense to tack on short soundtrack songs on to previous albums especially wtg songs and demos on true blue assuming Demos even exist ? I always loved the look of love instrumental used in the film so I’m hoping pat or Steve might dig out some oddities like that as for something to remember and the immaculate collection I don’t see why they need remastered or reissued when they only have a couple of brand new tracks on them - I think I read get over was leftover from IC and we all want the song broken or Indian summer from the Takara commercial but which album to put it on ? Maybe just do a demos album of all non studio albums would make sense ?

She doesn’t need a comeback imo - I just don’t think the general music buying public is not interested in her anymore- she isn’t doing herself much favours by her social media shenanigans either - even with the remastered albums coming out let’s be honest it’s only going to be the fans on here buying these and getting excited as for Elton - there is no way people are buying those tracks based on his input so that’s a complete fluke imo maybe the biopic ( whenever the fuck it gets made) might give her a resurgence in popularity but that depends on who plays her in the film and how good it is - if it’s in the same league as Bohemian rhapsody it might hopefully ??

I’ve been a fan since 1987 and she was already a superstar even then - I live in the U.K. and i remember her having 8 singles in the charts in 1985 which I think at the time was a record plus live aid and the whole penthouse scandal so I would say 1985 too but I wasn’t a fan nor even a fan of music then - it was family who introduced me to music - the true blue era is my favourite in terms of music , videos , artwork and of course the magnificent wtg tour and I’m going to get shot down for this but I just love the who’s that girl movie too - it was my first cinema experience and I remember being given a badge and press pack which sadly I don’t have any more . I agree with other comments that the blond ambition tour elevated her to icon status and put her in the same league as my 2 other favourite icons MJ and Prince- an era that she will never sadly replicate again ?

Do fans on here still obsess over fever edit one not being in streaming ? ? I remember a while ago lots talking about it like it was the best song she ever did ?

Sticking with Mirwais and Kevin Antunes to me are here worst mistakes from a music perspective. Ditching Orbit and Stuart Price was another one too - they are much better producers/song writers. I dont know why people blame Live Nation for her "decline" - after all they generated millions for her from a touring perspective(And made her the most successful touring artist ever) so in that sense it was a very good deal for her - considering she was 50 when she signed that deal - how many artists today would get that kind of deal when at that age their music sales would have long dwindled by then. i could care less about her personal life but i agree her social media prescence has not gained her any new fans -in fact its probably lost her a lot(Especially those most recent photos of the knife and her ass sticking out from under the bed :( )

Hopefully hard Candy is the last one the re-issue campaign I was wondering if this whole campaign was going to have some kind of project name ? I know it’s tired but I would love her to use Icon as the heading for each release ? What do you guys think would be a cool name for all these re-issues ?
