This exactly. Who has any idea if she hasn't sent her a private message or reached out in another way? She's also been busy with her own project the last few days. This obsession with everything having to be out in the open and public is annoying.

Don't be silly. Celebrities don't have to speak out to be doing something about it. She could easily by trying to get into contact with Britney herself or trying to help in another way.

Nobody really goes on websites anymore for artists, social media accounts are far more important.

It's not her best, but it's definitely up there. It was absolutely a return to form after two middling albums (MDNA & Rebel Heart). I think it really showed that M's fire and passion for creativity was back. I completely disagree with the idea that she's trying to appeal to a younger audience, the album is very much in its own bubble aside from Future. My only real complaints are that she didn't follow through with the whole alter-ego of Madame X aside from the mantra, and that some of tracklist could've done with some slight rejigging (I would've put swapped out Future, Looking for Mercy, and I Rise for Funana and Ciao Bella).

I don't think it's terrible as I don't believe Madonna has any terrible records. It's definitely the weakest. I think the biggest issue for me is that the production isn't great. Just look at how much clearer and better this mix of Turn Up the Radio is:

Superstar is an absolutely diabolic track, however. WHAT was she thinking?!

    Hi,
So we know in 1992 Madonna refused permission to Was (Not Was) to release her unused 1982 vocals on the remix track "Shake Your Head (Lets Go To Bed)", so the remixes by Steve Silk Hurley had to be remade with Kim Basinger vocals. The full 12" remix with Madonna vocals was issued by error on "Now Dance 93" on vinyl and cassette only (these have quite poor sound), and the Madonna Dub was put on the CD "Somewhere in America there's a street named after my dad". The Kim Basinger version was then put out as the 12" remix and also had two official edits; the 3.45 "Single Remix" on the CD of "Now Dance 93", and just to really confuse everyone a different longer 4.00 edit on "Now 23"!!
In the folder there's all the official Madonna and Kim Basinger Versions, plus I removed Kim Basinger off the Now 23 edit and Single Remix to create Madonna and Ozzy versions, plus a solo Madonna Single Version. I also remade the 12" Remix with a CD rip removing Kim's vocals and overdubbing Madonna's vocals from my cassette rip. I'm really pleased with that one, at last it has a more pristine sound instead of crappy analogue rip quality.
So to avoid confusion they're all well labelled!
    We have;
    1. Single Remix - Madonna only vocals - fanmade
    2. Single Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
    3. Single Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    4. Dub - Madonna & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    5. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Official Cassette Rip
    6. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Digital remake with CD backing track
    7. 12" Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    8. Now 23 Edit - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
    9. Now 23 Edit - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip

It's been 15 years since that, of course she's not the same. She's moved on and fans still caught up in the "Confessions" era maybe should move on too

No lies were spilled. Treating her catalog and hard work with the respect it deserves doesn't mean she's over and a legacy act. It's because most of her videos look like rips from the Immaculate Collection VHS and Video Collection: 93-99. It's about promoting and exposing your work to new generations and fans that will not track down those rare singles or even bother trying to collect them. Streaming seems to be the future so why would you be against Madonna having her remixes, remix albums, EP's and everything else? It'd allow for others to discover her work beyond the hits and see just how she's evolved and is an innovative force in music.

We've had endless reissues of vinyls, cheap undergarments and silly social media posts about "Where were you when this song/album hit? Share your memories!" but nothing worthwhile of celebrating the impact of these songs, records, videos etc. LQ videos are uploaded on her official channel and it seems a lot choose not to address the elephant in the room but seem fine with "This is Madonna. She doesn't look back like Cyndi, Cher, etc."

It gives me hope that maybe Warner will help along with the biopic to launch a lot of her work and remastered songs/videos to ride the hype and promotion of the film. It would do her more of a service than a disservice and she'd make a good chunk of change from it all. It would be nice to get bonus songs, demos, or even rare stuff probably not even heard of but having a decent online presence, your work in HD quality and moving along with how the world works will continue adding to her success rather than stubbornly choosing not to.

A brilliant, sadly underrated album. I can understand the criticism of it not being a Madonna album, though.

I've been working on a "Rebel Heart: Revisited" playlist for a while, and this is what I created. I tried to include all of the songs from the album as a version that I preferred and that had some what of a cohesive sound to the rest of the record, although I left off Messiah because I simply cannot stand that song. I also rejigged it to give the album a better flow.

Commercially, it's Emancipation, obviously. Personally and emotionall, it's the birth of her children.
No, she actually details that she is still struggling a lot with her own biraciality and trauma from her past. This memoir was actually penned by her.

Not true, the first section is about her awful childhood, the middle section is about her abusive marriage to Tommy Mottola once she was famous, and the third section deals with her comeback/return to glory.
