Off the top of my head, I would say that she helped discussions of sex and sexuality to be moved to the forefront. Obviously, she wasn't the only person responsible for this, but SEX/Erotica definitely helped to remove some of the more taboo ideas regarding sex.

heartcore got a reaction from tomasjohn in Act Of Contrition - The Analysis (by me)
I've interpreted it as a way for her to try to get into heaven. The majority of Like a Prayer focuses upon her blaming others for her issues. In Dear Father, her parents (and lack of a mother) is to blame. Keep It Together pins the blame on others telling her to "keep it together" whilst her life is falling apart. Till Death Do Us Part blames both her and her husband. In Promise to Try, she recognises her responsibility in overcoming these issues. By the time we get to Act of Contrition, she's expecting that she'll make it to heaven by saying a quick prayer. But it doesn't appear to be enough, as she ends up shouting "WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S NOT IN THE COMPUTER?!" She expected that the prayer would be enough to get it into heaven. She blamed others for her issues but failed to recognise her own culpability. As such, she is rejected from heaven, no matter how much she claims that she "has a reservation" and thinks she deserves a place there. The irony is that in Act of Contrition, no such Act takes place.

I really like this remix. M's vocals sound wonderful and it reminds me a lot of the remixes from her 90s singles.

I'd love it if she went back to Warner simply because it would mean that we'd (hopefully) finally get re-releases of old material, as well as single edits/remixes up on streaming.

Ah I see what to mean yes.
M has had 3 albums since though (one double) and yes whilst the hits haven’t been there a bunch of the songs have had big recognition.
    GMAYL
    Girl Gone Wild
    Masterpiece
    Living For Love
    Ghosttown
    Bitch I’m Madonna
    Medellin
    Crave

Have probably been her most successful out of the 12 ish released.
Kylie also had The Abbey Rd Sessions which was a GH reimagined.
K25 era where all her back catalogue was celebrated and a single disc Best Of Kylie Minogue in 2012.
Ultimate Kylie was a long time ago but Min has had endless collections. If Glastonbury hadn’t happened I doubt we’d have had Step Back In Time.
Anyways I get your point. I just think that singles on streaming and a welcome home hits collection from Warner’s would really be the PR exercise her brand needs and less nicely into another huge hits tour.
She may even pull a Michael Jackson History and release a double disc of her best hits and a new album.
I’d be here for it. Though the drop in quality might be very apparent between discs.

My comment about "so soon" wasn't about it being "soon" since Celebrations, but moreso that it's too "soon" for her to release a compilation in the next year if she just signed back to Warner.
Plus, Madonna doesn't seem to be as much of a fan as looking back on her past as Kylie does, so I don't the comparisons are that far. Celebration was released in 2009 and isn't really missing a lot of "new" songs - she's only released 2 albums since, neither of which arguably had any hit songs. Prior to Kylie's "Step Back in Time", the last full compilation was Ultimate Kylie from 2005, which wasn't even available on streaming sites. She's released 5 albums since and numerous hit singles, so it made sense for her to release a compilation.
I'm not against Madonna releasing another compilation, I just think the focus should be upon making her singles etc available to be streamed. So many of her peers - Kylie, Mariah, Janet - have already started the process of doing so.

I think that it's possible that the person who uploads her videos to youtube could be around here trying to find videos in low quality to upload them to her channel.

So where are all the people who were saying all these remors were bullshit and that we shouldn't discuss rumours on fan forums cause it never turns out to be true, and that there are no reliable insider on popjustice and bla bla bla bla.. ?!?

Push is a song that I feel was necessary for the lyrics. That doesn't make it a great song, but I don't think I'd swap it out for History. Now, I Love New York on the other hand...

Like I said, believe what you want to believe, I'm not going to force you to believe anything. But the insiders who confirmed the Madonna collab previously confirmed various things about Dua's album, such as that the Normani collab was shelved for the deluxe edition, the fact that there is going to even be a deluxe edition, and various things regards single dates. But it's your prerogative to believe what you choose.

The deluxe/re-release is supposed to be coming out in November, so we'll likely get Levitating feat. Madonna shortly before.
