Stupid person? Really? It's okay to have an opinion on her body but to think of Madonna now as a stupid person... I wouldn't even be here if I thought that. This topic started with a picture of her front view where some of you could have said she looks cute but..., and the only thing you noticed was about her ass somehow. Nothing positive there. I too don't like it that much but to me she is music not flesh. She is known to be immature and quite reactive so you should also question your role in feeding that horrible beast that scares you by looking at her. And I hope that you smart people have greater looks than her, because not taking care of our bodies is stupid.
Having said that, I fully trust her to put the Superbowl stage on fire next to a man who recently appeared with his face bruised and with bandages, a stupid choice that you would have dragged her to hell for.

XStatic Process is one. At first I felt it didn't live up to the title and skipped it for a long time. But her vocals and sensitivities made it hard for me not to fall for the song. Also I'm A Sinner but it's a gorgeous gem of her later career.

A lot of songs from Bedtime Stories, which I still find a boring record as a whole... but a few from Ray of Light also

One of those songs for me is God Control. At first, I couldn’t see why fans were loving it. I thought it was just awful and a mess. But wow, now I think God Control is true brilliance. It’s like a rollercoaster...and how is it someone make a song into a rollercoaster?! I just love it.

And don’t hate me for this, lol, but, I never liked Crazy For You until the last few years. I’m kind of waiting for this to happen with Take A Bow , but, I don’t know?

The Dua Lipa remix feat. didn't do any damage and in any case it helped her reputation and getting to reach a part of Dua's audience who maybe didn't even know who Madonna was before the remix (the very young fans).
About the Super Bowl thing with The Weeknd... well. The only thing that makes me think it could be true is if it's part of the build up for the future movie. There has to be a strategy to get the general public to like Madonna again before the movie. The Weeknd is an Universal artist and the movie will be with Universal Pictures but I doubt that alone means anything.
And of course she wouldn't fuck it up in the Super Bowl, she didn't in 2012. It was Safe Madonna mode at her peak (amazing show anyway).

She sounded great and everyone listened to it, but since we're in the middle of a pandemic, she was in crutches and working on the film, she couldn't make a music video for it, which didn't help its popularity, but it was a very fun gift for the fans and I really enjoyed it.

Well it could have been either a Don't Call Me Angel moment of an underwhelming song or a Beautiful People Beautiful Problems type of song that no one would expect of those two but both would sound damn great on it and would be worth listening over and over. Lust For Life ft. The Weeknd was one of my very favourites of 2017 and I think Madonna has a smaller gap to bridge between herself and him than Lana had back then.

Maybe after a decade she realised that 9 months of tour and 4 years gap between records are not good on the internet era, where everything come and goes in a blink of an eye. I hope this is true!

The question is IF there is an EP prior to the release of her movie – is she going to use the EP to push the envelope again (singing withheld grillz, lots of autotune, twerking her new boyfriend whose name I just can’t remember) or is this EP her Take A Bow/Something To Remember, i.e. her tool to soften her image as she did prior to Evita? I doubt she would have received as much acclaim for that film if she had gone from Letterman 1994 straight into filming Evita. She might remember that as well. Maybe.

So let's see what she should be doing. She should have minimum interventions on her face and body, so she doesn't look like a caricature but she also looks as sexy as she was at 47, pretty easy yeah. Change her looks for her fans who want a queen of reinvention but also not change her hair color to pink or wear grills and also not wear any wigs because they are a safe cheap choice. Then she should date a man her age who looks like crap but of course his music is good and he is a man so he can afford to look like crap and never date a hot dancer she can get anytime because she looks desperate and because her fans are jealous they can't get a man like that. She should age gracefully and start wearing gowns and sing ballads but she should also give her other fans sexy bops and be disco queen again. The real issue I see is in fans' heads and expectations. Find a successful female artist her age who does all that and then tell Madonna to go take notes.

We're counting down the 35 most influential artists of the past 35 years

As part of our 35th anniversary, we’re naming the most influential artists of the past 35 years. Today, we’re at #3. From Bay City, Michigan, here is Madonna.
The “Queen of Pop” isn’t enough to describe Madonna — she is Pop. Over nearly four decades, the Italian girl from Michigan formulated the blueprint of what a pop star should be: a triple-threat who’s willing to take risks and doesn’t give a damn about her critics.
Madonna’s dominance began with her eponymous debut album in 1983. But she quickly proved there was more up her lace-ruffled sleeve than bubblegum jams. Since then, she’s crafted definitive eras with a discography spanning 14 albums, over 70 music videos and numerous projects dotted in between. She became an ‘80s club kid, drifted us to “La Isla Bonita,” boldly blended sex and religion to cause a Catholic uproar, transformed into dominatrix Mistress Dita, found a ray of light through newfound motherhood and Kabbalah, brought cowboys back in style at the turn of the New Millenium, dismantled the American Dream while drinking soy lattes, became a disco queen and, in case we forgot, reminded the world that she’s an “unapologetic bitch.”
Madonna isn’t necessarily deemed a “political” artist, but she’s continuously shown advocacy for social injustices. She propelled “vogueing” from Harlem’s Black ballroom culture into mainstream success for 1990’s groundbreaking “Vogue,” unapologetically praised her faithful LGBTQ+ fanbase, flipped the male gaze on its head in countless music videos that combated a misogyny-riddled music industry and proudly withstood the constant backlash she received for her sexual expression that later gave other women the freedom to do the same.
Madonna’s fearlessness couldn’t be contained within a music box: the artist has also cemented herself as a respected actress, garnering critical acclaim for roles in 1985’s Desperately Seeking Susan, 1990’s Dick Tracy, 1992’s A League of Their Own and even won a Golden Globe for Best Actress for 1996’s Evita. She’s also a fashion icon, creating trendsetting moments with the same chameleon-like flair as her genre-bending music. Madonna has writhed around in a wedding dress for 1984’s “Like A Virgin” (which was reincarnated in a “pass the torch” moment for the lip-locking 2003 MTV VMA performance), nearly poked our eyes out with the cone bra from 1990’s now-infamous Blond Ambition World Tour, brought Hollywood’s Golden Era glamour to the 1991 Oscars, became a military sergeant for 2003’s American Life, combined matador and medieval styles for 2015’s Rebel Heart era, and channeled Marilyn Monroe any chance she got.

And of course, all of this impact has resulted in a list of accolades that unfolds longer than a CVS receipt: the highest-grossing solo artist of all time, the best-selling international female recording artist of all time, a seven-time Grammy award winner, a 20-time MTV VMA winner and a record of 38 Top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100.
Madonna has also birthed a legacy that a new generation of singers — from Y2K queens like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera to millennial rule-breakers like Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus — continue to uphold.
With the way the icon stretches her limits, it’s a wonder how the icon hasn’t had a comet named after her by now. It’ll be light-years until someone as seismic as Madonna comes crashing down from outer space again.

Maybe we should have a thread for weekly random discussion and let people unload in there... lol

I love Kylie. But sorry, Madonna still sells better than her because she still has an effect on the US market as with the rest of the world. Disco will hardly reach even Madame X's half a million copies. M could take notes on how to churn out albums often like Kylie though, but unfortunately she has like six kids more. As for the man, won't even comment on that. When it comes to the music, men are out of the picture. Try listening to Taylor Swift instead.

I fail to see how her intimate relationships are anybody's business.
And when we "comment" on something without having all the information, we tend to look foolish.
I wouldnt want random people I dont know passing judgment on the boy im dating.

I find quite shocking (not only in parts of this topic, just in general) how some fans talk about her looks, her personal life, her boyfriends and even her role as a mother. (And yes, I've been guilty of that, too).
While she's doing what she's always done: living her life by HER own standards, not anyone else's. For better or for worse.

    Let her be...

So what ? Should she force herself to be single ? Or should she force herself to stay in a relationship because it could affect her children ? She is a mother but she's a woman too. She has the right to live her life as she wants.
As for Rocco, we don't even know why he left her. BTW, he is the only one who had a problem with her. It was probably a period of teenage rebellion. Lourdes seems to really love her mother. She's not living with her (well she's 24) but she's always near at heart.

    Ok. I'll take the bait.
Madonna is NOT going to be "finished" because of anything you stated.
Making up stories about why YOU THINK Rocco doesn't live with her is a bit much.
The kids DO NOT have a new "step father" every 3 years. Madonna is dating. Madonna is allowed to date. Women are allowed to date one person, multiple people, or whatever they choose to do. A 62 year old woman can date anyone she wants to.
Madonna has alot of people in her house and around her at all times. For all her kids know in the beginning of a relationship, he's just another dancer hanging around. She's not bringing home a new guy every week, telling her kids to call him "father".  AND She's been dating Ahlamalik for well over a year. And he's 26. NOT BARELY LEGAL. Your ideas of how a woman is supposed to act are cringey. There's not one way a family works.
    and last... her appearance...

First off, the first picture you posted is PHOTOSHOPPED!

2nd... You only want to post pictures that feed your narrative. Are you trying to tell me she NEVER looks good?!?! I think your idea of Beauty is so narrow that there is hardly room for experimentation or , heaven forbid, wearing no makeup!!!

Thank god Madonna doesn't have such a narrow view of what beauty is, otherwise we would have never have gotten moments like these:

Stop being so damn closed minded.
