Watched her Jimmy Fallon interview during the Rebel Heart era where she had grills on and damn she definitely could support them back then. Her smile might have looked ugly but you couldn't help but stand in awe of her energy at 57. If she can go back to that I'll be fine with her having grills. They don't really suit Madonna, the aching woman in bed, though.

I don’t think the Dua Lipa thing is a good example because it wasn’t a true collaboration that Madonna had a role in writing. It was a remix of a previously released song on which Madonna just did a few vocals, and it was hard to tell it wasn’t even her unless you listened very closely. 

I've always wondered if she had a hip prosthesis. That could explain why her back end was big if she was using protection.

Yeah I'm guessing the procedure is that they will use an artificial femoral head now. On the way up center it will be glued on to the pelvis and downwards there will be a big nail to connect it with the femoral bone.

Thats what I mean though. Tour every two albums rather than every one like she has been. Slow down a bit on the touring front.

show me another artist who has kept thier fans so well fed with such consistent and amazing content for the first 25 years of their career. Images, videos, albums, remixes, tours, films, photos and championed social issues where no others would dare to tread.

Has she been a bit off and has the quality dropped in the last 15 yrs? Absolutely but the effort is still there in many ways... oh and she has six kids to look after which she didn’t for the first 15 yrs of her career. 
 
I think we are in the midst of a course correction regarding legacy releases and the maxis are a great start. In another few years all will be right no doubt. 
 
I only really want the legacy releases more these days because the gap between albums feels so long. I’d be much happier with shorter more concise ten track records every 2 years and a tour every two albums if it meant an increase in content and less drawn out eras. 

I think the format lots of artist has been doing for the live streaming concert / video / special during lockdown is a format that Madonna will knock out of the park moving forward.

Yes, and it's not known what Madonna fans actually want. We're lucky to still have her after covid and major surgery and she's working on projects while recovering and released new music and keeps putting out things on streaming sites. People can't enjoy things for what they are and enjoy whatever comes.. It's frustrating but I'm sure she's already tuned out all the noise.

I am obsessed with that clip. Your boy's b day is this Sunday and just watching that clip of Madonna singing LIVE (no autotune!) playing an INSTRUMENT was like an early birthday present! I know I sound like a total MARY rn but watching that clip made me sob 4 some reason...

There is one factor that sometimes we forget. And that factor is Madonna's own contribution to the creation of the song. Candy Shop sounds so much like her lyrically. Sexual innuendos are what keeps her alive. She is credited with Pharrell as the sole writers and I do believe she wrote like 80 percent of it or more. 4 Minutes might have felt more synthetic at the time, like she didn't have a big inspiration for the song, just sat with other three men and went with their flow. I think this is the reason she loves it so much. I think it's her being proud that she made it. Maybe working with renowned hitmakers after a long time didn't give her the chance to be the leader with many songs, 4 Minutes included. Give it 2 me isn't that smart lyrically to be proud of anyway.

I only want new songs and a new album! new new new! no best of, reeditions etc She never made it easy I don't want her to start now - she necessarily put aside dynamic songs with Mirwais on Madame x ... I think she couldrelease a mini electro disco album with a few concerts in 2021 in gold-priced clubs

I don't understand fans obsession with her early days. Everyone can be famous for 2 years, as we had examples or a lof of artists that lasted less than a decade. For me the wonderful thing of Madonna is that she was at the top of her game for 30 years (or MORE), surviving several backlashes, and 'flops', and at the same time being mother, wife, etc. That's what Madonna is, not only her life from the late 70's till the first album. Madonna is special because she's a survivor, not because she was dating producers and signed a contract  for Burning Up and Holiday. 

I like her as Chloe in 13 reasons why but I can't see Madonna in her. Damn it, make up and photo editing today can make anybody look like Madonna, more or less. This particular one has no Madonna class to her face and her passion to take the role by campaigning on social media looks a bit desperate to me. I mean M simply wrote a letter to Alan Parker back then, didn't get photographed as Eva Peron with the hashtag #hireme to convince anybody. They should continue looking I think, while finishing the script. I hope Madonna doesn't choose her because of the hype because I doubt she will see much about herself in that girl's face. Maybe only in her naughty LAV era.

Deep down it makes me happy that it ain't an easy task to find the one. Proves we haven't been admiring an ordinary woman who just got lucky. Not in terms of appearance nor personality nor voice and talent. Most modern day celebrities would have like a thousand doppelgangers that sing and talk and act like them. So please don't just pick a girl with huge lips that looks like anybody today to play Madonna.
