These photos make me particularly happy because we rarely see her in orange. She has said somewhere that it was her least favourite colour which disappointed me because I love it. This cardigan looks great on her. And those legs... damn. She would have looked much much better without the hideous sunglasses.

Yes as Whitney partied a bit here and there LOL
All her last year on instagram is Madonna semi nude doing strange things and with bottles of alcohol everywhere.

Probably she's doing it because of the talks everywhere... you know, artists are here to disturb the peace.
But that for me it's not art, it's cheap, ordinary etc... If she's happy with it ok, meanwhile I'm starting to listen other artists like Rosalia. Young generations are coming with a lot to say and fresh ideas and collaborators.

She's always done the drunk/high act when needed or for attention, it's nothing new, while being clean in real life.
I can't remember the source (Debi Mazar? Michael Rosenblatt? Definitely someone close to her then), but I remember stories about her early days in New York where they said she pretended to be drunk in clubs cause everyone else was and she knew she wouldn't be accepted any other way, while drinking juice actually. She knew she needed the night life networking and be a part of them.
When talking about alcohol, she's always said she's done-drunk after just one/two drinks maximum.
Every time she's talked about drugs is the same: sometimes she's said she never did anything, others that she's tried a little bit of everything, very vague answers.
Of course maybe it's different now and she's more relaxed about it all, anyway it's her choice and her life.

Blue Prince reacted to Karma in Wanted new Queen of Pop.
This thread reeks of insecurity. Anyone with basic pop culture knowledge knows that the 'Queen Of Pop' honorific title has been widely associated with Madonna since the 80's. Not to take anything away from other iconic and accomplished women in music but you'd have to be very deluded to believe their success represents a serious threat to Madonna's status.
As of 2022, only three acts have sold more records than Madonna - The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson - and most importantly, her cultural impact is still unmatched to this day, something that will be even more evident when she leaves this Earth, as morbid as that sounds. Even if Taylor Swift somehow surpasses her sales in 20 years, that will not suddenly erase the existence of Madonna's pioneering career and legacy. Adele demolished Aretha Franklin's total sales with just one album but it's the latter who will always be referred to as the 'Queen Of Soul'.
I do agree that it is kind of annoying how the 'Queen Of Pop' title has been passed around to virtually everyone while Michael's 'King Of Pop' title remains undisputed despite the massive success of Drake, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, etc. but I believe this is fundamentally based on the sexist notion that women are interchangeable and seemingly replaceable once they get older. We as fans also contribute to this toxicity, constantly pitting female artists against each other but the truth is they can all coexist and we should uplift and celebrate women, not bring them down.

Who the fuck even cares? anyone can call themselves the king or queen of anything and that will not change talent, legacy or overall impact. I do not think Madonna is sitting around and wondering if she still holds the title Queen of Pop, pretty stupid thread to be honest.

I love Kylie. But sorry, Madonna still sells better than her because she still has an effect on the US market as with the rest of the world. Disco will hardly reach even Madame X's half a million copies. M could take notes on how to churn out albums often like Kylie though, but unfortunately she has like six kids more. As for the man, won't even comment on that. When it comes to the music, men are out of the picture. Try listening to Taylor Swift instead.

Loved it. I missed those eyes. She looks quite natural (wink wink to those obsessed with her Instagram pictures, in and out of this forum) and overall it's very well done. Also, no sexy mum tits/ass frames this time, for those who cannot handle them.
It's modern and classy. I think they have a winner.
Loved the little flashbacks from the original "Frozen" video, by the way.

Yes and there is a moment also when pop music artists, after achieving big success, think they are above all, the audience, the industry..they forget that what they have to do is great pop music and are not here to be preachers of the highest morality or have to show us the way to live and all of that. A litlle bit of a flop here and there put them in their place usually.

Now if someone could just play "Impressive Instant" for the tik tots so we can get the music video we've needed for 20 years, that would be swell.

Blue Prince got a reaction from nito84bcn in Has Madonna lost interest about music?
I can understand how someone can feel that Madonna's quality of work has deteriorated over the past decade. But I always saw her current work in the time it was released. It's a fact that pop music in general has deteriorated and has in many ways separated itself from art. I feel like nowadays the acclaim goes to hip hop girls, to some overrated pop sweethearts that would never get that praise in the 00's and sometimes to women who have that one or two masterpieces in them before they disappear.
Madonna has created like three or four of those already. Fans who mostly complain now have no interest in current popular music and have that unfair expectation of Madonna to save music for them and work with old minds, whether they themselves have the creativity any more or not.
I believe that some of Madonna's most recent albums pale in comparison to her previous century classics but they stand out in today's musical landscape so it's a lie that she's lost interest. She's just changed with the times. And let's not pretend that she was actually making art with records like Music or Like A Virgin or Bedtime Stories. Many fans would love to crush those albums had they not been successful. But they are and fans enjoyed the music of the time better because it was actually better.
And Madame X rocks. It's still a masterpiece hidden behind all the autotune and the 'teenagers' she collaborated with. Sometimes it's just new seasonings so that no record of hers sounds the same as the previous ones. Who could you say that about after 14 albums?

So you think that when Madonna was recording Madame X, she was saying to herself "lets do nothing to improve the tracks or make them more creative"? the album was the most creative record of 2019 by a pop artist, nothing sounds like it. The logic of some of the users here, I swear.
