I wonder when we'll get the first glimpse of the stage after it's built?

I was intrigued by the Mexico seating plan map - showing the main stage (with the circular stage in front of it) linked to the catwalks vs the previous maps - such as London or Vegas where the seating plan only shows just a circular stage / no main stage, or most of the other venues where the side catwalks aren't linked to the main stage. I'm guessing that the Mexican one being the most recent is the 'master' as it were?

Never been so anxious to see what it ends up looking like for a tour - or where she's gonna spend her time / where the 'prime position' this tour will be.

Both the Confessions Tour and Sticky & Sweet Tour were played in arenas and stadiums around the world... so it won't be shocking if she includes more countries where demand could be even higher than American and European cities. Let's see about it. I just hope she takes good care of herself and develops the tour without any health issues.

Theres some nice gaps in the schedules for her to take some rest - which any normal human would need. I'm with you on this - I want to see her having fun but also taking care of herself. On Rebel Heart I always remember the opening night in Cologne - we could feel Madonna's jet lag in the crowd, so it's good to see there's some sensible spacing out.

Well, this would be easily avoided if they offered again the possibility to buy that ICON Presale Pass. I bought one for MDNA Tour and I'd buy it again for Celebration Tour for the sake of my sanity.

I agree 10000%  but we’ve done that conversation to death and Icon have issued a statement saying it’s never gonna happen so as frustrating as it is, no point exhuming dead conversations.

It’s clear there will be plenty of tickets left for the general sale given the thousands left in the presale so I hope you will be lucky on Friday :-)

I'm surprised to find so many good seats still available. I imagined there would be only those far away seats left by this time.

There were only 200 fans in the queue at onsale / for the US dates there were 5000 for some dates. So I would guess the surprise onsale took people by surprise.

  5. Plenty of presale tickets left; there were only 200 in the queue for onsale as opposed to thousands and thousands for the US dates.

Make sure you put your code in at the top of the page before you run a search for VIP
or standard tickets. If you’re using a code found online it may have reached its 4 ticket limit or been stopped.

Not sure what’s going on with the dynamic pricing in action - pit VIP tickets ended up quadrupling in price from the base price listed below - even though there were only a few hundred accessing the presale. Maybe it’s a site glitch?

I read the article on the Bad Bunny Mexico ticketmaster fiasco and lawsuits.  I hope Mexican Madonna fans don’t have the same issues!

Yes I have seen those accounts and they are actually doing a disservice to their fellow fans - there is no value in making stuff up like they do

At this point I’ll get my hopes up once she announces the dates. The so called Twitter “people in the know” (in Mexico) have been changing the story almost every week. I do believe (personally) that she will visit Mexico and some SA cities given the current itinerary and all the buzz that’s been going around since last year but it could all just end up being rumors. They just want followers after all.

Im echoing Matts warning. These Facebook Groups with "insiders" have been telling people lies for coming up to a year now - not a single "exclusive" they've posted has turned out to be true.

They want your likes and attention.

  7. Let’s say doors open at 7;

Bob The Drag Queen support set 8-8.45

    Stage setup 8.45-9.15

    M on 9.30 means a 3 hour set would finish at 00.30.

So if we’re looking at a 3 hour setlist (which would be awesome!) Bob would need to have completed the support act set by 8pm as most venues have a midnight curfew.

We know she breaks these but without the sponsorship of a multi year Livenation deal now I’d imagine Livenation won’t want to be paying the fines or prearranging curfew-breaks in exchange for bar sales as they’ve done before to accommodate her coming on after 9.30pm.

  8. Remember when News Of Madonna told us that she’d 100% be doing Uruguay in October 2023 and that dates had been 100% booked in Paris at the new Defense Arena - not Bercy? Point being the vast majority of Facebook Page social media rumours on this tour have been fake as usual. Anyone can mock up a quick logo. MadonnaTribe and DrownedMadonna broke some actual dates and venues but I’ve seen nothing else that’s proven to be true come from Facebook Groups. Where there’s a void of information these groups invent stories to satisfy fans “need” to know information before they’re entitled to have it. Then when fans call bullshit on them, they play the old “plans changed” card.

I hope with all my heart that she goes to all these countries with fans but please do manage your expectations.

It was a massive hit.  The tour was extended over several years thanks to Covid, and every show managed to include most if not most all his biggest hits.  No artist is going to tour for five years under the same tour, without changes. With 300 shows and counting, no one going to a few shows can say he hasn't represented his catalog with this farewell tour when in fact he has.

Maybe in your country. If you live in the UK then his catalog is appallingly represented with many many massive hits missing in what has been a static setlist for over a year.

No Can You Feel the Love Tonight, not even Sacrifice.

Anyway. This isn’t an Elton thread and we don’t need the misery of his current farewell tour infecting chat about an upbeat Madonna tour!

I don’t know that it was billed as a greatest hits tour but Elton’s Farewell tour had quite a few album tracks or non hits in the setlist. I don’t think people go in expecting every hit to be performed. As long as the bulk of it is songs people know and she does enough of the main obvious ones (like a virgin, like a prayer, vogue, hung up etc) then everyone will be satisfied.

Elton’s was advertised as a farewell, purposefully not a greatest hits tour, unlike Madonna.

it was also one of the worst gigs I’ve been to in the thousands I’ve seen. Song after song that the stadium crowd I was in didn’t know. People getting very restless. Massive hits missing.

Exactly. Greatest hits is literally that. There’s no way around it and it’s certainly not the time nor place for BIM or NRM.

Watch her open with Dear Jessie 😒

It makes people think theyre clever by suggesting she's going to pull out Falling Free, Im Addicted, Gang Bang and Pretender. Let them have their little moment.

This was the last performance we got. If you watch her, and not the dancers, she barely moves and there is no band. To me, this is a small taste of a peak song during the upcoming tour. Thank heavens I made it to see Madame X. Because this type of show doesn’t interest me as much.

Yes, thank heavens you saw the Madame X tour where the band took centre stage - drum kits were literally everywhere, and with even with her broken hip she was doing Parkour all over those theatres after the Beer Chat.
