Exactly 1 month now since the show. I'm so depressed today. I miss this tour and the Rio concert so much

If that rumor is true and they really start filming in 12 months, she better releases M15 soon - early 2025 omg. Rio was such a wasted opportunity to debut a new song or announce the Album, but if she'll just sit at home now and wait til the filming starts i'm gonna have a breakdown i swear.

Her directing is not terrible. With a studio support she can do a good film. She also did amazing casting on W.E (lots of those actors are bigger now)
 
The problem is in her writing, Her films were just a little too boring and self induced in that part. (she also seems to have chosen the worst scripts to act and passed on great ones like Matrix)

What does making a biopic have to do with new music? Before it all comes to fruition and goes to theaters, Madonna can release two new albums.

Idc what you say, i hope the fuck not. This means we might not even see the Shadow of M15 and re-editions for a couple years from now which is unbearable to me 

This is the saddest post I'm reading in the last year or so. Passionately hoping for a retraction as soon as it's possible.
The infinte wait is going to be the most boring thing for us and it's quite probably gonna be another misstep in her career imo: instead of maximizing her actual moment of success and respect with a strong new track or music, she goes back to a two years long process on an already rejected project where she will tell her story AGAIN, after just having done that succesfully with her tour
Sorry, my opinion about her in movies always was that it's not her thing, she's not a talented actress, screenwriter or director, I never watched anything really cinematographically worth watching wich included her honsetly, with all the love I feel ... but really, it wasn't enough to think that's a great movie wich gave me something intense, wich I wanna watch again. She neither could chose the right scripts when she was at her peak in the 90s, rejecting Batman returns and THE MATRIX, to play in Body of evidence and The next best thing

Madonna is reportedly set to 'begin filming for her biopic starring Julia Garner in the next 12 months' after the project was scraped last year. 

The 'Queen Of Pop', 65, spent years percolating the movie, which was first announced in 2020, but put plans on hold after announcing her massive Celebration Tour. 
Award winning actress Julia, 30, was first attached to the project in 2022 after undergoing a gruelling 11 hour audition process. 
Madonna wrapped up her mammoth run of shows in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, last month and is now said to be focusing on 'fulfilling her dream' of getting the biopic made. 
A source told The Sun: 'Julia is still her lead actress and they have remained in touch for the past year, talking through ideas. They are committed to creating some magic.' 
 
They added: 'A range of secret meets are being organised with Universal Pictures to get the project nailed down.
'There is a lot to work on with locking down the rest of the cast, arranging shoots and completing the script but the hope is that they can start filming in the next 12 months.'
The source added that Madonna had felt films such as Freddie Mercury's Bohemian Rhapsody and Elton John’s Rocketman 'paved the way' for her film, but she wanted to ensure hers was 'more unique and dramatic.'

In 2020, when the biopic was first announced, the singer said in a statement, 'I want to convey the incredible journey that life has taken me on as an artist, a musician, a dancer — a human being, trying to make her way in this world.'
'The focus of this film will always be music. Music has kept me going and art has kept me alive. There are so many untold and inspiring stories and who better to tell it than me,' she continued.
'It's essential to share the roller coaster ride of my life with my voice and vision,' she added. 
Universal Pictures announced the decision to shelved the film in January 2023 after the Queen Of Pop revealed she would be embarking on a 40th anniversary world tour.
At the time, The US Sun reported that it was put on pause due in part to her insistence on having 'near-total' control of the process on top of her bizarre 'circus antics' on social media.

To me, it's part of her persona.  Madonna embodies sex and religion into her act.  It's part of her signature style.  She knows it provokes people especially when she chooses to be naughty, while being draped in crucifixes. 

Didn't she say that her kabbalah priest or something like that was with her when she woke up from the coma?
