I posted this in another thread but was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts about how this album could've been a fully realized "story"/ concept.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I will never understand how the Manifesto wasn’t an interlude on the album. This is what I imagine as a “complete” Madame X:
    1. Intro (One from Medellín Video)
    2. Medellín
    3. Dark Ballet (Extended)
    4. God Control
    5. Future (Tour Version, Obviously)
    6. Cabo Verde - Interlude
    7. Batuka (Extended)
    8. Killers Who Are Partying
    9. Dangerous Cravings - Interlude
    10. Crave
    11. Crazy
    12. Come Alive (Extended)
    13. Extreme Occident (Extended)
    14. Faz Gostoso
    15. Sodade
    16. Madame X Manifesto - Interlude
    17. I Don’t Search I Find
    18. Looking For Mercy
    19. Ciao Bella
    20. I Rise (Extended)
    21. Outro (Maybe a James Baldwin Quote that she recites?)
Then tack on the last 3 tracks if she wants

(Anyone wanna be commissioned to make this for me)

Honestly...loved the chaotic edition during the first section. And yes, it completely calms down once Batuka starts. I don't get the comparison with the past 2 tours? Once the last section hits with Frozen it might just the the less edited thing she's ever done including The Confessions Tour, Drowned World etc She had some really lengthy takes during that last section and it looked amazing! Sometimes less is more and she knew it. She was extremely proud of the new footage shot this year and you could tell.
But that chaotic first section totally makes sense in context.
Speaking of that section...I had no idea i was going to love it so much? I really don't remember liking it that much live. It's intense as hell! wow
Loved one very specific part: When she screams "A new democracy!", throws the hat and the way the song stops for like 2 seconds. It's nice touches like this that to me made this film so great.
Also...I Rise is a...great song now? wtf...i was shaking by the time Like a Prayer ends and I Rise starts. What a great ending to this show! Even the simple hands choreo was so fitting.
Everything about this live release was on point. And dare i say it...her best release / promo campaign to the masses ever. This is all over MTV worldwide, Paramount+ did an exceptional job promoting this, Madonna herself even showed up at Jimmy Fallon to promote it. Hell the album is #2 on itunes worldwide and #1 in 14 countries. A live album that we didn't even knew existed a week ago.
One last thing...Madonna didn't spend a year doing this to release a live show. It's clear as hell. She even calls this a movie or film for a reason. It IS cinematic as hell. You can also tell the biopic inspired her during that intro, the Italy speech, etc. Watching her embracing her career this way is honestly great to witness. Before this we got the occasional music video montage only, lmao.
Cons of the show: Oddly the 3 best songs to me live...were the ones that were boring on film. I never imagined Vogue could be boring...but it was here. Add  IDSIF and Extreme Occident to the list for the other 2. They are still worth the watch...but they could've been done better because they were all great live.
Anyway, exciting to be a fan of a woman this creative 40 years after her debut. She is nostalgic about her career but she is also doing 90% of new songs only. I thought that was an interesting contradiction and you can tell her mood shifted between planning this tour and actually editing this show. She's full on biopic mode right now, you love to see it!

theres something that i love about WTGWT - i think its how the show translates itself to me as an autenthic end of the 80s party, you know? i didnt got to live during the 80s cuz i was born in the 90s, but every now and then when i think about that time i imagine something kinda like this show - madonna looks so free, so careless while she goes up and down in those ladders singing every note, rocking that blonde hair... its just dope asf! its not my favorite tour of hers tho, but im gonna give it more tries - specially with bootlegs. i love watching bootlegs smh

Hey everyone! Last night I got the opportunity to attend the Madame X Tour film private screening.

The event was phone free until after the show ended, so no one was able to snag videos of the film or Q&A. The place had an open bar with 4 signature drinks: Madame X (Basically a vodka martini), Espresso Martini, Crave (some light drink with a splash of red and what were written as caviar, not sure what it actually was lol), and champagne. They were also handing out little snacks like popcorn, red-vines, and some honey truffle bar.

The beginning of the night was kind of just a mingle and drink before Madonna arrived. Liz was there and so was Erin Wilson, who I got to speak with. She was really sweet and seemed actually interested in our conversation. She was praising Madonna so hard and you could tell how passionate she is about the biopic. Once Madonna arrived we all sat down and the show started to play after a short speech from her and she saw some of the tour band members who she hasn’t see in awhile and got super excited. Also she gave Liza a long hug.
The film was absolutely amazing! There was an MTV logo at the beginning, so maybe this was the broadcasted one since some songs were cut. I answered a lot about it in other threads so I’ll just summarize a bit here, but lmk if you have anymore questions. The film was so powerful and I felt like she was inspired by her biopic when making it.

    - Video opened with Madame X Manifesto and some montage before it with some upbeat music and negative clips from her career
    - Papa Don’t Preach, Crave, and Sodade were not apart of the film
    - There were close ups and shots of the crowd. Quick cuts but better than past tours. Vocals sounded from the tour! Filters used occasionally but very tastefully done
    - FUTURE WAS AMAZING, AS EXPECTED!

Once the film ended, the Q&A started. The first part was all celebrities with video recorded questions. Questions from Lil Nas X, Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Connor McGregor, Sarah Paulson, Jean Paul Gaultier, Billie Eilish, and countless others. Madonna revealed that farts make her laugh and then recited the fart poem. She then took 3-4 audience questions. One of which was from me! I think she remembered me after we bantered a bit about our convo at the Madame X Tour, at first she was like who? ?

Once that ended they removed all the chains. French fries and pizzas were being brought out and the room turned into a club. Got the opportunity to dance with Rocco and David, David was super nice and formally greeted himself and shook my hand. Rocco seemed really nice too, he was hanging with his friends. And one of them was dancing with me and that’s how I got over to the group. Then Madonna came out and I got to dance with her a little bit and I took pictures of her next to Ricardo. Then someone performed, I have legit no idea who it was but he was wearing what I’m going to call a “nail wig”and he was really good! The rest of the night was just dancing. I talked to Steven Klein a little, he seemed a little like he didn’t want to talk to me but I was probably a little too tipsy, sorry ?
The night ended at like 4-4:15 AM.

Please let me know if you have anymore questions!

Since Y'ALL MISSED MY POST I have to share it here because I am obsessed with it.  And I want you all to be too.  I envisioned the final ITG rehearsal from RIT to have the pre-recorded vocals she did for "now I know you're mine", and I have created it using the live guest rehearsal version that was showcased on news stations pre-RIT, and am super happy with the results. Sharing it here because I love it so. Sorry leakers. Had to.

Oh my god!!! Peeps, it's just A. TEASER!
Don't lose your mind over it. Some people want stuff cut from the film, some complain that she cut stuff from the film. Why do you try to come up with a scenario you won't like so desperately? Have you ever imagined Emely, the intern reading this forum and wondering why you queens all fanatasize about the worst possible outcome?! (I'm a queen too, so I'm allowed to say that!)
Can't this just be a good tour film at last? Try imagine that instead of nagging about 50 seconds of random footage!
