It's the same situation with "Beautiful Stranger (Calderone Radio Mix)" and "Beautiful Stranger (Calderone Club Mix)".

I absolutely love the Vission remix of Don't Tell Me. I think it's the best of the bunch. It's sexy. Bouncy. Groovy.

The Anti-Madonna concept tour by Anapausis. Have been worked on it for some years. Would be perfect to happen during Trump time at White House.

Tour gets this name by avoiding any track from Celebration GH Standard Edition. This would be a tour to get reminding the people M is not just hits screaming here and there.

Madonna loves to not give her fans what they want. It’s like a point of principle with her.
 
I’m not sure I even believe that there will be expanded album reissues at this point….  and if there are then I kind of assume that they will be super disappointing. Just giving a selection of remixes previously available on the commercially released CD  and vinyl singles at the time.
 
The digital singles reissues campaign is just painfully slow and protracted. I wouldn’t even care if I could still copy my mp3s over to my iPhone to play through the Apple Music app. 
 
I know they all sounds negative/pessimistic, but I’ve been a fan for so long that I know how it is.

I still laugh at that one TPOG remix where it's literally "Freedom comes" a hundred times. 

I don't agree with that... I mean, the Madonna album Like a virgin, maybe... But the promotion of "Madonna" was made with the TV performances and some shows like "Uncle Sam" and things like that. She was starting her career and probably the thought that the tour would help to sell the first album too... But I don't see her saying "I'm going to make the "Drowned World Tour" to make a promotion of "Bedtime stories"." Or Something to remember? She only sang "You'll see" and not in every concert. Is like saying that she was promoting "True blue" too because she sings "La isla bonita" and uses the snippet of "Open your heart".
I can see that with "The Blond Ambition" (Like a prayer/I'm Breathless) and "Drowned World tour" ("Ray of light" and "Music") because in the first place, they thought about doing a tour for the first ones ("Like a prayer" and "Ray of light") that finally wasn't made, and the albums were "near" from the one that came later.
 

Since Blond Ambition is the obvious answer (and is basically perfection), I went with the other obvious choice - Drowned World Tour. That version is so goddamn FUNKY. The absolute PERFECT reinvention, and with the Stardust sample to boot. And to top it off, the fact that it's staged so simply - just M, Donna and Niki. The magic that those three are is on perfect display here. And it's a testament that contrary to what so many seem to think, Madonna doesn't actually need all the production. Performances like this prove the woman is a goddamn superstar.
For single performance, I chose Live Aid, because again, how simple it really is...and it's M at her earliest rise to superstar status. The proof why she became the greatest female artist of all time.

I voted WTG cause it is very powerful, with great audience interaction. But of course the BAT version is so beautiful, very entertaining. Always nice to see her smiling.
I also love the DWT rendition, very stylish. Simple but musically interesting, and the interaction with N&D is perfect, as always.

I don't know if this counts but Ray of Light on Drowned World Tour is just perfection. The vocal, the interaction with Monty, the commanding of the stage... she was definitely back and different than we had ever seen her before. 

It's true, the RHT version is an "improvement", more effective. It's just that it somehow felt as an already heard performance.

Honestly, an Orchestral version of TAB would have been amazing. Babyface's production hasn’t aged well.
I also think a Mariah/J.Lo-esque type of remix that featured a rapper and had a different melody, production and slightly different lyrics would have been interesting. They were all the rage back in the 90s and early 00s.
Maybe a remix with a bit of an Asian vibe could have been cool or a trip hop remix by Nellee Hooper.
I think Madonna wasn’t particularly passionate about it. It must have felt like a total resignation for her to follow a trend and not be the trend setter and being forced to release a ballad like this over Human Nature and/or Bedtime Story.

So i used the GI2M stems generously shared by @Rob72 (thanks again) and extracted the "drums" section from the Sticky and Sweet studio version with a cheap software. I used an online multi canals mixer and voilà. Frankly i'm really surprised at how well it turned out because i really used cheap softwares and free online stuff. 
So here's an uncut version using the whole lenght of the stems

We did come to that consensus....until we didn't. Here's what we figured out about the videos:
TIC VHS/LD video = 7" version Celebration video = NOT the Gold Disc mix, a new edit And here are the differences in the three audio version:
7" version at 0:16 the chords on the keyboards begin Gold Disc edit at 0:16 there's the "stabby" synth trumpet sound, then the chords on the keyboard begin Celebration video version at 0:16 there's the "stabby" synth trumpet sound, but the chords on the keyboard don't begin until 0:21, and it's just the last two chords, then the lyrics start There maybe other differences in the three versions, but they can be distinguished as three different versions within the first 21 seconds of each of them. 
 

Ok, to settle this once and for all, I put together the differences of the edits.

No, at this point is cause they don't care that much. I mean, "Bad Girl" was released in October last year. 10 months laters it still hasn't been changed.
I get that is not a priority for anyone involved, but it's the little details.

No - the 7" Remix of "Borderline" that is currently on streaming platforms is not the original 7" Remix. This was discussed in this forum when it was uploaded. 
 
The original 7" Remix does not have cowbell and can be found on the 7" single, The Immaculate Collection VHS/laserdisc/DVD and the Japan CD Singles Box set. 

I very much doubt they took the effort to reconstruct anything mark by mark and doing it perfectly.
I mean, the last time they tried to reconstruct something we got... this:

It "Lucky Star" 7'' Edit sounds like the original, it's the original from one of the sources remastered and that's it.

Working from stems and changing volume and levels and echo’s and reverbs etc is a remix even if none of the original sounds and music is changed. 
 
A remaster is when you take the song in its fully formed “bounced” form and apply eq, compressions, limiters exciters and the like to change the feel. Boost the bass, give the high end some sparkle and air, dampen any thing that sticks out sonically like muddy or pointed sounds. 
 
Mastering all depends on the quality of a mix in the first place. 
 
Ideas are the recipe
Production is chosing the ingredients 
Mixing is the cook off
Mastering is the presentation 
 
That’s how I’ve always looked at it. 

Yeah but even some 7" edits like Lucky Star, Holiday and Everybody, are edited poorly. IC at least makes the edits sound cohesive... minus the early endings.

I never gave the Calderone mix of Hollywood a chance until that edit was chosen for Finally Enough Love but I really like it, it’s different for him
