In Paris Bercy for the Blond Ambition. On the last date, she kept having problems with her microphone. It started in Open your heart, where in the middle of the song she came to the edge of the stage on the right side with her back on us and a technician tried to fix the little box she had on her back. In Keep it together she was given a hand microphone that stopped working very quickly, so after a while she threw it back with anger in the space between the stage and us. Gaultier joined her on stage after Holiday. She was calling him and telling him to hurry up, she was talking in French and with a very good accent.

I really hope we finally get the uncut Virgin tour under the new Warner’s deal ?

They can release and extended version of Truth or Dare.. With all the songs filmed without edit like "Express Yourself" (I can't believe they cut the iconic kick from the film.) ?

I would be happy with an official dvd of the who’s that girl tour Tokyo gig so I can retire my laserdisc -or maybe Warner’s has the holy grail Florence show somewhere - now that would be an awesome surprise ??

I just hope they don't cheap out by giving us coloured vinyl of albums we already have 10 pressings of.

I have always wanted to edit the different pro shot footage we have of Erotica to use different angles. Think of this as a work print. You can definitely tell the difference between the three sources, so this isn't about a flawless edit, I am not even sure I could match the three close enough for that. However it is interesting how much better this number is when you focus mostly on Madonna. Instead of constant wide shots and cut aways. I use those sparingly or where I have no other choice.
Let me know what you think in terms of flow and pacing and all that. This was done quickly, so I don't expect you all to be blown away. Just a quick edit to give an idea of how much better it would have been to have more close-ups and focus on M. The choreography is so small and detailed that wide shots and cut aways ruin it IMO.
Maybe one day I will try to work on a better edit, if I have the time.

Of course, links to DVD, Bluray (1080p) and 4k; for which I had to buy a new computer for. Having a software that takes advantage of high quality engine and selecting High Profile for H.264 codec, you need a computer that can handle it. I originally had someone doing this for me because I knew nothing about video editing/processing, but obsessive as I am, I was never happy so I learned to do it on my own and it was not easy. Learning about encoding, compression, deinterlacing, GOP settings, scene detection settings, H.264 profiles, MOV and/or H.264, amount of Bframes to be inserted in relations to the GOP settings, using such poor quality source, was a nightmare and it took months. Ironically using the AI software was the easiest part. Getting it good enoug before running it through Topaz was terrible. The hardest was the motion, I kept getting a slight judder/stutter in very fast moving moments  (that nobody seemed to notice but me), so alot of trial and error to get the motion smooth; a combination of amount of B frames; in regards to the GOP selected, that also depends on the fpr, and using the best bitrate settings. Variable bitrate and 2nd pass encoding did a good job but I liked using constant bitrate and I have versions using CBR rather than VBR, but those files are huge. Took me a while to figure out the best result for the 29.97fps was 2Bframes and a GOP of 150 (software had it autoset to 250) and 5.2 High Profile, but for my 60fpr version, I used GOP of 300, 3Bframes, and 5.2 high profile. I did 2 versions, using either CBR or VBR, and 2nd pass, but only VBR for 4k due to size, so basically I have 5 versions of Nice. For the "SD" which you may wonder why I bothered to do, I used CBR, and it looks amazing. The after effects from AVS Video editor helped alot (even though AVS is pretty simple) with the sharpness and gamma setting, but I used daVinci resolve for the colors and to optimize the video's motion.

I am looking forward to see the final product!  hope to get the link when you're ready. Your effort is worthy.

However I am still not sure if I want to post the links in the video section here, because I dont want a certain member to make fun of my 4 months of hard work, and he will 100% do just that and I am not up for any more drama. Of cource I can send you the links after I upload them, via PM? If you want a physical copy, I have a pro printer (also prints the discs) and I  can make the physicals and send you for free. Not doing this to profit, but not to be made fun of either. Mostly I did it because I REALLY wanted to. But I will share with anyone who is interested.

The thing is: Remember a time when Madonna was synonyms with on top high quality outputs?
We're not complaining because we are never satisfied, we're just appalled at how bad things are done. They can't get anything right! Fans have done better edits with audience footage over the years.
There are people wasting their time trying to remaster her videos and sharing it for free with other fans, that's how much we appreciate her work, and then somebody who must be getting paid to take care of her channel does this mess again and again, over and over.
Madonna has the biggest legacy in pop music and I don't think that new people will get interested in discovering more if they happen to watch this mess...

Yes it will be the same. Considering we did not know any footage existed at all it’s very cool to finally get something. I think filming at Coachella was not a priority back then which is why the footage is not amazing. But glad to get something.

Blond ambition tour in Paris, somebody jumped on the crane holding the camera filming what was going to be "Truth or dare" that was in the middle of the venue, she yelled at him in french "Don't touch the camera, touch my pussy instead" (touche pas la caméra mais touche ma chatte). I was 10 and with my mum, we had a good laugh about it.

She said Dallas about 500 times before this little fuck up...
