Would be wonderful if true. Madonna could add her own verse. It won't be hard as levitating rhymes with waiting, anticipating and hesitating

She has no record or recording contract now, right? If not, I doubt she's even thinking about music at the moment. There's probably other things she wants to do, not to mention she is still recuperating.

She record an album with some low key music videos. Live to Tell required her to just stand of sit. Dark Ballet had her in it for five seconds. But I think the Madame X tour is first and then a hiatus. Maybe MDNA Skin stuff? Another venture? A short film direct by her with minimal her actually in it?

Unlikely to be true however the one thing Madonna should do is collaborations in between albums. If she picked them carefully (as I would expect) then who knows how successful they could be.

It is heavily discussed around + Madonna followed Dua on Insta a week ago or something.
Also Madonna was in London a few weeks back, Dua's hometown.
If this happens, it would be HEAVEN! Opinions?

We'd have the most successful solo male in the history of music. Or she'd have died somewhere in the 90's.
The nose of her as a man deserves a bite

Well even though it is off topic I want to respond to that as a person who only a couple years ago started enjoying Taylor and her music. First of all despite not being sexy, she is a very beautiful woman. All blonde and blue eyed and tall with a lovely figure. Second of all she co-writes all her songs and her name is put first because she writes most of the song, unlike Madonna as of late, and I think she wrote an entire album, Speak Now, all on her own. Many of her songs are gorgeous lyrically, try All Too Well or State Of Grace or Blank Space etc. I don't like her country roots or the girly ballad songs she used to make but when she turned to pop she made music that resonated perfectly with me and my generation. Her 1989 songs like Shake It Off, Blank Space, New Romantics are no less than perfect pop songs, let's not forget that Madonna became a superstar with Like A Virgin and Holiday and Material Girl, far from being great songs objectively but in pop terms they are perfect. And well, vocally Taylor equals and outshines Madonna sometimes. She has a louder voice though not very interesting. I agree that sometimes drama made her more famous than she deserved, especially after 2016, but Madonna is no stranger to that either. Okay for me Lana Del Rey and Lorde are far superior in their artistry but Taylor has many qualities similar to Madonna's that kept her more famous, like a huge commercial brain and reinvention abilities. If we are to talk about mystery in pop superstardom, let's talk about Billie Eillish and her boring ass record that gave her like a half a dozen Grammy's and can put an insomniac to a weekend long sleep.

I respect your opinion and the fact you appreciate her. As i said i don't hate her but for me she's like the last girl on hearth who has what it takes to be a star. To each their own i guess.

nothing is impossible with Madonna, but i dont believe there is any real pattern to what she does. she just does it and if it falls within a coincidental pattern is just because it does.
i think she loves to stay active and within what is currently happening. her next project which could be a film first or maybe her next musical project will most likely be influenced by what is happening today. even if she decides just releasing another great dance record to get peoples minds off of the seriousness of everything lately.
Madame X may not be my most favorite from her but i appreciate it and enjoyed the output. i dont believe she was trying to explore all these characters. i think she just wanted to present Madame X and see where it went. i guess it could have went deeper with each video but she obviously wasnt really interested in diving into that direction.
whatever she does she next will not win with the public neither some of her fans.  i just appreciate she just does what she wants and doesnt really  follow any particular formula. it is what makes Madonna, Madonna!

Uhm I don't think there's is a pattern... I think it was just a coincidence she decided to do those two film projects right after the last two eras were over.
But who knows. She is very commited to the Black Lives Matter movement, so maybe this inspires her to do something. But don't forget we are in the middle of a pandemic, so a film project right now it seems very impossible... A lot of people is required to something like that. So I don't think anything new is coming (except the Madame X Tour dvd of course).

Such great thoughts, Guys. I love the idea of her doing a video project. With her great interest in BLM, I wouldn't be surprised if she did something for them to help and especially with the presidential election coming. But, what I'd really love to see her do is something to unify, to lift spirits, and to heal and calm people. This past year has just been too much.

Who knows. I hope she’s thinking right now Madame X, while full of stunning looks and incredible videos... I hope if she plans on continuing Madame X, she explores more of the personas. And have that “I have something to say” attitude. I know she has it. Whether or not she decides to bring it more to fruition... that’s up to her. Because unfortunately, Madame X just sort of fell flat. Once the tour happened it didn’t really seem well thought out.

Listen, this is my LEAST fav era. I didn’t enjoy the album, I didn’t connect to the songs. It didn’t make me more of a Madonna fan. That being said, I highly respect her vision and really hope she gives more video wise. I want her to explore more of Madame X. EVERY persona. Say what you have to say through video. We know she’s capable of it because every video from the MX era was brilliant.

I don’t doubt that if she decided to do another video project, that it would t be stunning. She’s brilliant. A little fucking nuts but, brilliant. I pray she expresses that in the future.

So in 2013 Madonna did her #secretprojectrevolution thing after MDNA and a couple years after Rebel Heart she did Her-Story. Technically Hard Candy and the tour were followed by Get Stupid and COADF was followed by Hey You. So a year after Madame X should we expect any video project with a message or (not likely) any charity single? Or was the album and its abundance of deep music videos enough for her to say what she had to say? I'm asking because there seems to be a pattern, especially with the last two albums. But I suppose nothing will come before Madame X Tour is released on DVD etc.

Blue Prince got a reaction from Voguerista in Madonna: where to start in her back catalogue!
For any university pal interested I'd suggest Rebel Heart and Confessions first, as they are modern sounding still and show what she is capable of in terms of dance quality and variety. After that probably True Blue. I'd start off with the most fresh sounding, care free albums of the bunch as the others might be a little passé or too specific for a non fan. Depends on their tastes too really. But great albums like Erotica, American Life, Ray of Light, Bedtime Stories (?) and Madame X should probably be listened to later on.
