You realize that besides the first chorus she is singing along the Weeknd on every other one, right? So luckily it's not just that one verse. I needed more of her own vocals too though

I was worried that this track wouldn't be enough of an appetizer for me to last till the Vulgar release. But I was wrong, it is cool and very summery with those fresh vocals and chill urban beats. A definite addition to my summer playlists.

Well this is massive.

If this is actually true, was GMAYL that featured MIA before Nicki Minaj, implying that Nicki lacked global impact? She had blown up the year before with the release of Super Bass, had a spectacular feature on the most acclaimed album of the decade and then went on to become the Queen of Rap. MIA had a huge hit of course with Paper Planes and Bad Girls maybe but she wasn't even the star of GMAYL the way miss Minaj was.
EDIT: MIA is only first on the video title. On her website Nicki is mentioned first. Perhaps they changed it after the release of the video and before the album came out.

Oh no doubt, it's a song the GP knew more than anything else she's done in that decade.  It's sad though because while I enjoyed and like BIM, there were so many more great songs from Rebel Heart, deserved to be a hit.  The title track;  Ghosttown, maybe Devil Pray and Joan of Arc.  Though there just wasn't any push from Interscope.  But then, I always felt they were simply a distributor at that point and it was up to Madonna and her management team to push the song.  It seemed the same for MDNA and I'm not sure Interscope had much to do with the radio deal Madonna struck to have GMAYL played so often during the SuperBowl.  I feel that had more to do with a bigger entity CLEAR CHANNEL that partnered with the Superbowl.  Though, I'm not really too sure who was all involved in getting that radio deal with Clear Channel, but it could have all to do with her involvement with Superbowl, they were willing to play the song as they did. If Interscope was involved, they certainly didn't do much after to help keep the song getting more radio airplay following the Superbowl week.

What's weird, she nearly skated by the 10's without a top 100.  Thank goodness for GMAYL and Bitch I'm Madonna.  They may not be some fans cup of tea, especially GMAYL, but without that song, she wouldn't even had a top 10 track that decade.

It's not going to happen without visual support. It's already slowing down on Spotify on its second day and it's a pity.
Not to compare but imagine "Vogue" or "Justify My Love" without their music videos. Wouldn't be the same.

What??? To see Madonna’s name twice in a chart feels like the 80s!!!

Madonna seems authentic and angry in Vulgar.  Coming off of the ridiculous comentary on her looks at the Grammys, this seems like an appropriate response. Many of the pics were intentionally unflattering and Madonna deserved better treatment. I am sure the "Go Fuck Yourself" line would not have happened if people would have been civil and respectful.  I hated the bleached eyebrows but they did not devalue her.  I love Vulgar.  This is a "I'm not your bitch" moment and Madonna has earned it.  It is not Like a Prayer 2.0 but it is authentic, defiant and brave. Bought me a copy to support and will stream it like mad.

All of her songs are hits in my opinion. She will never stop having hits.

1. First of all, stream the songs. And I mean as much as you can. Create playlists with both of the songs, but always put 2-3 different tracks in between them so they don’t get filtered out. Play on atleast 25% volume
2. Buy the songs on itunes if you can. Purchase all the versions available. This will boost the song’s sales massively
3. Shazam the songs. Play them on one device and use shazam on a different one. The more shazams a song has, the more it will be played by radio stations.
4. Request radios to play the song. There will be plenty of links available once the songs are released, whether by me or different accounts. Airplay is extremely important for the songs longer run.
5. Spread hashtags and tweets with the titles of the songs. If the they trend on twitter or other social media, there’s a bigger chance general public will play them.
6. Post or support tiktoks that use the sounds with the songs. If you want to, you can even create a dance/ challenge. The more the sound is used on tiktok, the more likely it is to go viral.
Thanks for reading. Of course, all of these steps are just advices and it’s totally okay if you just listen to the songs and enjoy them. I made this thread only for the hardcore fans that care about the song’s performance.

I absolutely agree that "Vulgar" is pure Madonna if that make sense. The thing is that you cannot define its genre, it's not house, it's not dance, it's not trap, it's not urban, it's not pop, but at the same time it's all those genres mixed with oriental and sometimes Bollywood style. The track is an alien, but a class one, not a cheap one. 

I've checked and that bio is uploaded by the artist/team, so not really. If her and/or her press team want to say that there's not much no one can do about it - except for being corrected on social media, etc.
It happened with TLC too. For YEARS all their official bios bragged about them being the biggest selling female group ever, period. And that's not true. They were the biggest selling female group IN the US. Worldwide it was the Spice Girls, of course. Now TLC say it like it is: "we were the biggest selling female group in this country", bla, bla, but it took them years.
In the end it's all hype, so who cares.
