I believe her hair was real in the video as she had that hair style for awhile and performed at the 2001 Grammys with the same style.  The wig may have either been for the body double or a back up for Madonna.

No. It's the Dolby Atmos files converted correctly to Stereo. As I've said, this is for fans who doesn't have a dolby atmos or a discrete 5.1 system but want to enjoy the Dolby Mix remaster in stereo. A few fans couldn't get a proper stereo mix from the original dolby atmos files, missing some elements (background vocals, instruments, etc). And you can't play a real stereo version of the atmos mix on streaming (only the original TIC version).

I’ve polished, denoised and stereoed the Live Earth stems that were kindly shared on this forum last week and I’ve made these “studio instrumentals” leaving out all the audience and including all pre-recorded back vocals and effects that were used in the performance. hope you enjoy.

I decided to mashed these two together now that we have both parts thanks to @Dazedmadonna I made two mixes of it and wanted to see which ones better so yeah

For me AL was the final triad of her Veronica Electronica phase. ROL+ Music+AL. They are a great evolution and exploration. The more melodic trance-ic beats from Orbit blend with the more robotic and broken beats of Mirwais, and AL is harsh and raw.
The US at the time were so protective of their identity even having someone like Bush being a puppet. So everything that would feel anti American was dismissed. In Europe the electroclash sound was exploding. Artist like Fisherspooner, Scissor Sisters were making gigs here instead on  the US. Ladytron, FelixDahousecat, Miss Kittin, Vitalic, Green Velvet, Jacques Lucont, Goldfrapp..rough vocals, rough beats, and amalgamation of beats from Detroit, London, Berlin, Paris..
I think they were smart concentrating on these artist to made the mixes and promote the album on this side of the pond.
I was transitioning from living in NY back to London and I was surprised (or not) of how little AL was promoted in the States.
But I was happy of the sound , mixes and all. Apart form the Luc Besson  video  aka shampoo ad, that i never understood.

American Life was the right choice as a first single. It had the same effect that Frozen had on me… me staring at my car stereo speakers wondering what the fuck was happening. Frozen.. I Was staring at my TV wondering what the fuck was happening. 
 
The fact of the matter is… people don’t know good music. I’m So Stupid isn’t supposed to be an enjoyable listen as say Secret is. It’s meant to be jarring. As is quite a number of the songs on American Life are. To not understand that, is not understanding that ART isn’t one specific thing. It’s also not understanding the album. 
 
and I really wish we could move on from equating commercial success to quality music. They aren’t one and the same. Which is why I don’t care about streaming numbers, or album sales. It means nothing. Taylor Swift, I’m sure, has amazing numbers… but she gives me absolutely nothing. And some of my favorite music artists like Goldfrapp, who I think surpass most artists including Madonna in creativity and quality get absolutely no recognition at all. 
 
I could really care less what anyone has to say about one of my favorite Madonna albums. 

I love American Life, she souded amazing and Nothing fails or Love Profussion or Easy Ride or Intervention are soooo emotional and so goood and so different to other records of her. One of her best albums ever. 

Using the new multitracks provided to us by @Dee Jay AI Studios, I've tried to recreate the Jellybean remix with the length and structure of the album version. Because we all hate the album version. I made two versions of it.
 
Version #1 - this is more true to the original single remix, in my opinion, because it's lacking cowbell and only has cabasa during the second pre-chorus

As somebody who studied graphic design, I can honestly say that I hate the artwork. It’s amateur.
Happy for Aldo Diaz, but Fabien Baron this is not. 

Now I've recreated the instrumental version of "Fever (Edit Three with 12'' Intro)". Unfortunately the original instrumental has the Dynamic Range a little compressed but it doesn't matter because the instrumental is amazing.

20.366.941 monthly listeners and #184 overall.
A pity but not terrible, she's holding on above 20M. Remember not so long ago, a year ago, she was around 12-13M monthly listeners.
