I don’t know why people always cite 2007 as the beginning of the end. Hard Candy was a great album, and very shrewd, let down by awful artwork. Confessions Part II was never going to happen. Sticky & Sweet was a huge tour.
 
 
 

Not as such. There was a 12” of Holiday and a clear picture disc in different artwork. The b-sides were YCD mixes.

still never found a 7” copy of Lucky Star.

Given all the unreleased material, we really got shafted when it came to b-sides. Certainly, each TB single onwards could have had a non-album track b-side quite easily. After all, money was spent recording the songs, and at the very least, they would have been b-side quality. Instrumental b-sides would have been better than album tracks. 
Given writers on b-sides earned the same as the a-side writers, as long as it was a Madonna co-write it shouldn't have mattered to her much what song was on a b-side. 
In terms of artwork, you can't beat a physical release, especially on 12" when the picture sleeve was particularly nice. I generally thought that Madonna was up there when it came to good picture sleeves. The Look Of Love is a particular favourite, and Express Yourself. 

Was she on tour when Rescue Me was released? It’s very strange that such a key single didn’t have a video. 
 

I'm one of those in the "I like the cover art and about three songs" camp. Personally I think it's her worst album. Survival and Take A Bow are the only two songs I really love. I remember when I first played it and being excited by Survival and having high expectations, which dropped lower with each successive track.
I like Human Nature, but less over time. The title track is OK. The video was better than the song, which was wafer thin (but I'm not a Bjork fan either so perhaps I just don't 'get it'). Never cared for Secret. So really, the first and last tracks are my go-to.
I have tried to like it more, but it just isn't happening. It's not an awful album, I just don't find most of it very memorable.

Give Me was great. So colourful, with plenty going on. I really loved that recordand had the video on repeat.
Still one of my favourites.
 

There’s one shot in Frozen, where she covers her face and it reappears at a different angle, that is sheer genius.
For that reason, I choose Frozen.

.....drum rolls please.....  VOGUE!!!!!  Wow, I thought for sure "Like A Prayer" or "Hung Up" would have won. Maybe at another given day and time, they would have. Though for now the winner is VOGUE!! We must be in the mood to dance. I would love this for a Greatest Hits Set List. If I were to add a few more songs or somehow mix them in, I'd add; Messiah, Joan Of Arc, Beautiful Killer, I'll Remember, and Nothing Really Matters.
