Yes, we all know that the Maluma-guestperformance was pure disaster, BUT face the fact that since the linked videos (from MDNA) a whole decade passed PLUS she was in awful shape (think about that during the end of the Madame X Tour she could barely walk before multiple surgaries). Cher, who is a living legend of the stage is literally only walking during her shows and making very tiny dance moves still she is adored. Why even we, the so-called fans cannot accept that we have NO right to expect MDNA round2, Blond Ambition round2 or not even Rebel Heart round2 ... I guess, seeing the clips of last night and following her post, that she really tried her best last night and she deserves the appreciation - at least from her fans, she has always got (and will) enough shit from elsewhere. It's just an opininon  

Tori and Madonna just have a different writing style. It doesn’t mean one is more  intelligent than the other. Tori tends to write more esoteric lyrics especially later in her career, whereas Madonna is more straightforward, universal and thus relatable.  Can you really explain what all of Tori’s lyrics are about? For awhile Tori’s lyrics were so odd and esoteric that I had no idea what she was talking about and this couldn’t connect with them. Just because you don’t know what something means doesn’t make it deep and intelligent. Sometimes I think she just wrote random words that she herself didn’t even know what they meant. I would say it’s a lot harder to write universal lyrics that people connect with. 
Tori’s last album Ocean to Ocean was her best in years in no small part to the fact that she abandoned the esoteric style and wrote direct personal lyrics about her mother’s death and her struggle with depression during lockdown.

I don’t think it will have that dramatic an impact because a lot of people won’t see it because it’s not on national tv or in a stadium before thousands of people.

Camille Barbone didn’t seem like an innocent sweetheart. She was a tough cookie. She was pushing Madonna into something she wasn’t comfortable with pop rock like Pat Benatar.  Does Madonna have to do that or is she allowed to follow her own path? 
I was brought up to be nice and never upset or offend anyone, but I’ve come to realize that means never doing what makes you happy or fulfilling your own needs.  I’ve come to realize that’s not a healthy way to live, actually Madonna helped me realize that.

She has the attitude, you know. I've been watching Ozark for a time, and she resembles Madonna in some aspects like tics, body positions, her walking... I don't know. I can see a young Madonna in her even if they don't look like a lot. She's also a good actress, so...

I think Deeper and Deeper is a shoe in for Pride. It’s the perfect fit and one of the songs from her catalogue I wish she’d make an absolute staple like Human Nature. It really is top tier Madonna.

And please don’t put a zillion words in my mouth, I was talking specifically about her performance not the whole event. There are plenty of songs in her catalogue to inspire and uplift people without making the whole thing morbid.
 

The pride show in 2019 was basically a MX/MXT promo show, so I would think this will be along the same lines for FEL. Warner announced "special events" as part of their deal with the reissues campaign, so let's all just hope this is also a promo show (with a production and venue budget, which would also require some legit rehearsal and preparation time) for the album launch the next day.
