She turned 56-years-old on Saturday but Madonna made sure to remind everyone of her younger days with a racy flashback photo.

The Queen of pop posted a topless picture of herself from her 1980s heyday captioned: 'In my birthday suit.'

And to celebrate the occasion, she was taken out for the evening by her dashing young son David Banda.

The Vogue singer selected an eye-catching shot of herself during her Marilyn Monroe days wearing nothing but long, black, lacy gloves.

She wrote to her 1.9 million Instagram followers: 'In my Birthday suit! The girl cant help it! Thanks for all your good wishes!!!!'

Later she added a picture of her eight-year-old son, who she adopted with her ex husband Guy Ritchie.

David was dressed to impress in black tie and top hat. 'My escort for the evening,' wrote his proud mother.

Every party Madonna throws seems to be so much fun. From the pictures, people are having a genuinely good time. And Madonna looks so beautiful and glam in the pics. The look kind of reminds me of her in Bloodhound of Broadway. She has this classy look about her that allows her to pull off the flapper girl look without looking tacky or trashy. She can pull the old Hollywood images so perfectly well. We can see the who' s who of fashion and design were present, a testament that she’s truly the Queen of Fashion and that’s why they all want to dress M every time.

Madonna looks awesome. Looks like Mercy and Madonna dressed very similar. What a bash it looks like it was.
