Hmmm, it's mentioned in Rolling Stone in 1989
    https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/madonna-the-rolling-stone-interview-103058/

and in 2015 Madonna said in a signed affidavit saying, “While we certainly had more than one heated argument during our marriage, Sean has never struck me, ‘tied me up,’ or physically assaulted me, and any report to the contrary is completely outrageous, malicious, reckless and false."

Of course she agreed to it, I think it was commented and pretty much confirmed back then but can't remember the full details now.
Leonard never shared any unreleased snippet before and he was quite active on Instagram for years, and then BAM, a completely full unreleased demo on YouTube. Surely she gave her blessing to that.

I think this mindset is a little bit in the past now for her. She posted on Instagram vibing to her 1981/1982 demos while she was writing her movie script and she released the "Back That Up To The Beat" demo as it was (no tweaking) after it got viral a couple of years ago. She also gave permission to Patrick Leonard to upload three "Like A Prayer" demos to YouTube to make an auction tape go down in value.
She's more relaxed about demos in the last few years I think. I'm sure the expanded editions will include demos, maybe not all of them and just the selected ones she likes of course, but demos anyway.

The reason to why I prefer physical media is that it stays.
Madame X Tour was available on Paramount+ here in Europe, but it was closed down a couple of years ago, and replaced with SkyShowtime.
Lots os stuff from Paramount is now available on SkyShowtime, but not everything.
Madame X was NOT a part of the move, so we in Northern Europe cannot watch the concert anymore.

But that shows that a majority of her fans prefer physical copies. You can't fault that because many of us grew up on Vinyls, CDs and Cassettes.  It's only easy for certain artists to gain huge amounts of streams, if the fan base is among a generation who is used to only digital and streaming content.  Sorry to say, but you can't change that as much as you wish. Madonna is an older artist, so of course her fan base is dominated by older people who prefer the physical concept.  It doesn't mean we don't accept the digital/streaming formats. It just means we prefer something more tangible.  You also have to remember radio still plays a huge part in how one charts.  It still takes more streaming to chart than a radio play and physical sales.  The more people who requested her on radio or bought her albums, the better chance she'd chart better which what this all comes down to. Madonna makes more money from endorsement or physical sales not radio/streaming.
Regarding Madonna albums, she's still outselling a lot of popular acts when it comes to physical sales. She would have had a number one album for Rebel Heart if it was based on her physical sales.
I don't disagree that more fans should stream her albums, but let's look at the fact when someone like Lady Gaga comes along, how Madonna fans get irate that Gaga's fans were able to generate more streams than Madonna or sales tactic, when most Madonna fans don't feel like they need to do that to show their support for Madonna.  In many cases, if you ask fans to continually stream Madonna to get more counts, they see it as the same as how you might see how Lady Gaga fans are putting the album on repeat to up her streams.
So are you gonna fault Madonna fans for just being true to how they want to support her, or you going to ask them to purposely do something that doesn't represent who her fans are and who she is?  My take is if she's still physically outselling some of the most popular artist in physical sales than she's #1 in my book.
At the end of the day, I rather enjoy Madonna from my Vinyl or CD than streaming any day. Once again, Madonna makes more money from endorsements or physical sales than radio/streaming.

I think you're failing to see my point.  I'm open to all formats and platforms be readily available.  Why restrict it to just one format?
Also, we are seeing an increase in interest for physical editions and more are being released.  Just look at the huge increase in Vinyls sales. So yes, there seems to be a demand for physical releases too.
What you said about ..."more of us who get older and die, it won't matter", seems a bit ignorant to say.  It's just not true  In fact, many of us OLD FOLKS are living longer, and we have more money.  Advertisers, corporations, etc, are taking notice.  The age gap is widening more and more regarding the entertainment business. Don't dismiss us "old folks" just yet.
And besides, tomorrow you could get hit by a bus.  So who's winning now?   LOL!

It has nothing to do with age. I just like to be able to watch Madonna's concerts when I want to. That's why I want a blu-ray.
It's pretty unfair that it's available in many parts of the world, but not here.
And this goes for alot of stuff. Once it's gone, it's gone. No matter how much I like it.

Well as @Celebrationpointed out, I prefer the physical format over the streaming just for the reasons he pointed out.  Also, it's not a matter of us "old folks" not willing to  "understand wifi or streaming".  In fact, I understand it VERY well. I definitely use it very much. It's quite convenient and I rely highly on it when it comes to movies and television programs.  I stream all my favorite shows and the latest films.  But as Celebration pointed out, there is no promise they will always be available digitally and streaming.  And there are plenty of films and concerts that aren't streaming.  Therefore, if it's an artist, film or concert I enjoy, I would prefer a physical format.
To me IT IS "practical" to have physical as well as streaming/digital.  I say let's make it available on ALL formats.  More than not streaming/digital can be limiting.  But I'm not one to say we should take one away over another.  I am not one who assumes an age demographic or how one understands these formats.  There might be some truth to it, but it's not that black and white.  There are pleny of us just want all available formats and platforms because nothing is worse is to have a monopoly where one controls it all, only limited formats to a vast array of people who enjoy listening and enjoying their music and films in different ways.
At the end of the day, I'd take a physical format of my favorite movie or artist any day over just streaming. At the same time, I want to be able to stream whatever as well because as mentioned it is extremely convenient if it's available.

I think after American Life he kinda gave up on her like MANY fans and fansites during that time but he always provided inside info and correct info. Of course he could no longer have those connections but Im gonna say he's trustworthy still.

Well, Madonna and Spanish seems to be an... unfortunate thing.
I've been told by guys who's first language is Spanish, that her grammer is off in several songs, and her pronounciation is horrible.
I don't know. My first lanuage is Swedish, and I can not speak more than maybe ten words in Spanish, WITH awful pronounciation.
But I don't care. I love La Isla Bonita, I'm Going Bananas and Ciao Bella, and wouldn't want to have them undone.

She's very hit or miss in Spanish, but she's always made the effort. Many other international artists have tried along the years, some of them with TRAGIG results (Robbie Williams in Spanish comes to mind).
She was very good in "Verás" ("You'll See" Spanish), she had Carlos' or someone's help with that definitely. "Lo Que Siente La Mujer", apart from a couple of words, was quite decent.
"Spanish Lesson", ironically, was not her best honestly.

I have the sheet music and here are the lyrics (note that "non compos mentis" is misspelled in the actual sheet music)
    I'm going bananas
And I feel like my poor little
Mind is being devoured by piranhas
    For I'm going bananas
    I'm non compos mentes
And I feel like a tooth being drilled
A nerve being killed by a dentist
    For I'm non compos mentes
Who knows? Could be the tropic heat
    Or something that I eat
    That makes me gonzo
I do carry on so, for
    I'm going bananas
Someone book me a room in the
hot hacienda with all my mañanas
    For I'm going bananas
    I'm going meshuga
All day long there's a man in
My brain incessently playing "Booga wooga"
    But I'm going meshuga
    There's bats in my belfry
    Won't you make sure this
    Straight jacket's tight
Otherwise I might get myself free
Yes, there's bats in my belfry
Who knows? Could be the wine I drink
Or it's the way I think that makes me gonzo
    Oh, Doctor Alonzo says
    I'm going bananas
Someone get me a bed in the "Casa
De Loco" for all my mañanas
    For I'm going bananas
    Yes, I'm going bananas
    Si, I'm going bananas

    The Culture Behind Madonna’s ‘Vogue’
In the spring of 1990, Madonna’s career and creativity were on an upward trajectory. She had successfully made the transition from ’80s pop star to global megabrand. The singer’s style and music videos — where she questioned, pushed, and confronted societal norms — played a huge role in her rise to international fame. In her early years, she accomplished this through her overt sexuality — but Madonna was not simply eye candy.
    Madonna’s Coat of Armor
While she became synonymous with the “underwear as outerwear” trend, Madonna transformed the daring look into a coat of armor. Madonna’s fashion and attitude were about showing strength and confidence and celebrating her authentic self. Madonna was all about questioning gender and expectations, whether by strutting around proudly in masculine attire or piling on yet another rosary.
By the start of the ’90s, the stage was set for Madonna to drop “Vogue,” and once again change mainstream dance floors. She was already a household name, still had a controversial edge, and was dating renowned ladies’ man Warren Beatty.
The two were making the movie Dick Tracy together, with Madonna supplying the accompanying soundtrack. Producer Shep Pettibone was brought in to work on a song for the album and had previously worked with the singer on several remixes and “Like A Prayer.” It was a quick job — Pettibone wrote the backing music in less than two weeks on a shoestring budget of $5,000.
    B-Side Beginnings
Legend has it that Madonna had been clubbing at New York’s Sound Factory when she first saw young men on the dance floor striking poses. After receiving Pettibone’s track, Madonna quickly penned the lyrics inspired by the experience and recorded her vocals in a tiny, 24-track basement studio on West 56th Street.
Pettibone later said that the singer laid down all her parts quickly, in order, and often in a single take. The rap in the middle of the song — name-checking famous golden era celebrities — was conceived on the spot as Pettibone and Madonna made a list of their favorites before the singer put them to tape. By the time Pettibone had finished compiling the song, it had been just three from conception to completion.
“Vogue” was supposed to be the B-side for the next Like A Prayer single, “Keep It Together.” However, the plan was scrapped once Madonna’s record label heard the tracks disco soul. Though it had no clear relation to Dick Tracy, aside from the Ciccone connection, the single was added to the movie’s soundtrack. “Vogue” became a global No. 1 hit, reaching the top spot in over 30 countries. It was also the best-selling single of that year with more than two million copies sold.
The song was much more than fun chart fodder. Its significance went beyond any of Madonna’s previous endeavors and introduced gay culture to the masses. The dancing the singer had seen on a night out was much more than a bunch of men having fun; it was a snapshot of an entire scene in New York, mostly among the Black and Latino LGBTQ+ communities. The dance that was immortalized in Madonna’s song was just one small part of Ball culture.
For the unfamiliar, a ball consists of various categories people can enter and compete in. Each is based on being the epitome of stereotypes and classes, allowing participants to satirize the frameworks of gender and social mobility while providing an escape from their realities. Lip-synching, dancing, and modeling are also part of each contestant’s walk, with trophies and prizes awarded to the best and “most real” in each category. For those who may have been discarded or disowned by their birth families, Ballroom culture created a space of acceptance.
The Pop Song as an Anthem
Though “Vogue” was released in 1990, Ballroom culture has deep roots dating back to 1920s Harlem when it was unlawful to wear clothes that belonged to the opposite gender. Although early balls were integrated, segregation was still prevalent, and non-white performers were banned from being judges while category winners were almost exclusively white. Rejection from their communities encouraged minority groups to form their own events.
In the past several years, Madonna has faced criticism for co-opting gay culture. However, when “Vogue” dropped, the AIDS epidemic was in full swing. Gay people were feared and reproached in straight communities, framed by the media as spreaders of a devastating plague, and made to seem dangerous. When gay people were portrayed in media, they were often the punchline of the joke or demonized. “Vogue” changed some of that. The music video, starring unapologetically gay dancers played a small part in dampening the public health fear as one of the few pieces of mainstream media not to diminish the community.
Madonna’s magic at hiding her message and meaning in plain sight of heterosexual acceptability allowed her to create something that laid the groundwork for so much that came after. Similarly, the Ballroom scene not only laid the groundwork for “Vogue”, but for countless other pieces of media.
