I do. She needs them, all pop stars need them. Donna and Nikki have had their day so it's fantastic that M has her own preference.

Deep in my heart I'm concealing things that I'm longing to say...
I am not that happy to have the Showtime version of dvd, it feels like I already have it although it's not out yet. I still wish she had included extra songs such as Who's that girl or Rebel Rebel. The Paris attack speech and not the Detroit speech. The Iconic backdrop. The workshop featuring Hold tight. And despite the mistakes, at least a LONGER "excerpt" of TOAC. They spent so much tome re-editing the RHT vocals, they could have done the same for TOAC. But now it's better to turn the page.

While I love Give Me All Your Luvin', and the video had its moment (great colors), it wasn;t lead single kind of video. Girl Gone Wild had a pretty great video, really an update to Erotica, which still has more shock value than GGW. Turn Up the Radio was just kind of sad. IT had more of a story than the last two. I feel that GIve Me All Your Luvin' was just so tailored for the SB that it should have been seperate from the album. Just dropped as a single. I'm Addicted should have been dropped as the lead single months in advance, so that GMAYL could shine as a single but not be the first taste of the MDNA era. Masterpiece should have been an actual single with a music video. There was so much they could have done, but the SB was likely an exhausting side project after recording an album and directing a film.

There are so many to choose from. As of now, it's been her Erotica/You Thrill Me performance from the Confessions Tour.

slave got a reaction from manoba in American Life: the most underrated album ever
So true.
Especially nowadays, when the success of next album is not so obvious. I wish she would stop working with Diplos, Timbalands, Benassis etc., and take somebody out from 'the underground', as she did with, for example, Mirwais.
I think that see needs to think about fans. Of course, she'll have new ones when she'll be collaborating with top producers, so maybe I can understand those decissions, but I'd be so proud of her supporting talented, yet unknown artists.
Comparing "MDNA" and "Rebel Heart" I think that it's going in the right direction, both lyrically and musically, but it's a looooong way from the last album to "American Life".

this is me when I even think of "American Life" album.
Every single song is brilliant. I love the way acoustic guitar meets electro sound.
There are a few Madonna's songs that literally makes me cry, and most of them are from this album. "Intervention", "X-Static Process", "Easy Ride", but the the one that's the most emotional for me is "Nothing Fails". I have read somewhere that there was a plan of making the video for it in Israel, such a shame it didn't happen...
Speaking of the album, I'm in love with the unreleased songs that leaked. My favourite one is "Miss You". I love it so much that it's one of my fave song of all time, not even the AL era.
I really love when M is doing spectacular show with lots of crazy things happen on stage, but I adore her little acoustic concerts like Cantine de Faubourg, HMV performance etc... Madonna and a guitar is all I need - that's why this era is so special for me.

Quoting the press release:
"Madonna has announced that her record-breaking MADONNA: REBEL HEART TOUR will be released by Eagle Vision on September 15 on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray complete with bonus content, and an audio CD of highlights from her much-heralded tour.
The Material Girl will also release a live album featuring 22 songs from the Rebel Heart Tour, available on double CD and digital download."
If we interpret this literally, they're saying we're going to get a highlights CD with the DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital video (like with Confessions and S&S), and there will be a seperate 2CD live album released as well.
That's great news for both camps: those who want the full show on two CDs, and those who want just the highlights. Yay!
(Not to mention giving collectors more product to buy )

All I'm saying is, it better not just flop and stroll into a store. I want promo. Commercials. Posters. Radio Ads. Interviews. Blond Ambition Tour. Magazine spreads. Giveaways. Awesome trailer. Multiple editions. Blond Ambition Tour. Halloween Costumes. Mastered for iTunes edition.
Is that too much to ask for.

slave reacted to MadMark in Best vs. Weakest Tour Final
Best:
Give It 2 Me - Sticky & Sweet Tour, the energy was just insane. After a two hour show full of singing and dancing Madonna performed GI2M like it was the first song of the show. I couldn´t believe her stamina. Out of this world. And everybody went crazy !
Weakest:
Holiday - Rebel Heart Tour, for me the most dissapointing one ever. I love holiday but it was too slow and not enough energy and not special enough for a closer. Left me cold.

Because she's known for putting out top notch products so after he had designed the BIM cover/TOAC program, fans were weary she wouldn't choose him again because his work is beneath her. She's set the standard for so many artists to deliver the goods and this something you'd expect from an indie, up and coming artist, not the "Queen of Pop."
The artwork is cheap, LQ, and the photos are from another performance and it looks like an amateur student photoshop project. Granted, her covers aren't the best but this is just unacceptable. There's a fine line between expecting quality and not excusing half-assed and minimalist attempts by her and her team.
I don't agree with fans flooding his page though. She could do SO much better as proven by the superior fan covers posted in the previous pages.
