Erotica, though it's a tough tough choice.
I remember listening to JML in a store when TIC came out and it blew my 12 year old ears away, never before had I heard her in this way and I loved it. Though Erotica is kind of similar, it's so much more sophisticated, the sratching record, the bass line, the vocal samples, the chains near the end, it's so raw and yet so rich. And I love the way she says romance in the beginning. I adore JML in the same way, but every once in a while Lenny's background vocals annoy me

to be left alone in there for just a day...

So all I'm gonna say. Some of the stuff that was cut ended up making it oddly disjointed. So much of the effects on stage and some theatrics got blocked/missed because of layer of backdrop on the screen.
I get the reason why people who are fans and went to S&S/MDNA got salty about over editing. As an attendee of the RHT it felt impersonal. Which was an EXTREME disservice to this VERY personal show. I did tear up at True Blue, that was done PERFECTLY.

I agree, we need to see the whole show before passing judgement, though I'm not feeling this first clip at all. It's just a matter of taste I suppose, but I'm just really not a fan of using multiple shows/outfits in the edit. Like someone said before, it looks more like a video than a concert registration. I just rewatched the LAP in stockholm video and the Rebel Rebel performance, to me they are much more powerful because you feel the performance and it's energy and the crowd. Also I love that the visual is not touched up, so in the close ups we see nuance and detail.
But let's wait and see, Rebel Heart is a tricky song, 'cos it's near to the last segment and it's just her standing there for the third song in a row, so I can imagine they felt the need to make it more dynamic

I think that's exactly what they wanted, at least for the RH performance: this performance is like the pivotal one, representing the whole RH era, the interaction with fans, being a rebel heart... and what a better way to show that than mixing fans from all over the world and the RH perf from all over the world too??? At least that's my opinion...

There are things that I LOVE in this preview and things that makes me less confortable :
- The colors are stunning and it looks more natural than in MDNA Tour release
- The vocals sound live and I love them !
- The spidercam shot give interesting angles
- We have closeups on M's beautiful face and smile
 
But
- The spidercam shots need more contrast to fit the colors of the other ones
- Too much different nights in this preview, with costume changes even more obvious than in MDNA Tour release
- Too much shot of the crowd
=> Those aspects give me the feeling that the footages were mix quickly without coherence, I hope this is not the case of the whole release...

Anyway, I can't wait to see more !

However, obviously she needs to retire Candy Shop, it's number 10 of her most performed songs, it makes no sense at all (unless ofcourse, unless there is a backwards subliminal message about global domination and/or devil worship hidden in it's lyrics)

Congrats to a well deserved tour. You guys should stop being so butt hurt tho lol. Who cares about awards, if you liked it that's all that matters. Doesn't mean she's less of an artist without it.

I'd cut DP, Messiah, Sex and either TAB or LAP, but I'm guessing TAB cos it's not as energetic.
 
I think DP is a beautiful song and Messiah was a nice interlude, but as this is being broadcasted I think the first section needs some trimming as there are only RH songs the general public won't be able to relate to, there is burning up, but classic as it is, it's not as widely known as one might think. Live this may work, but watching on television I can imagine people tuning out before the hits kick in.
As both BS and LFL have their own little intro the interludes before them have become rather redundant, so I'd cut those, again they are not as entertaining for the GP, and lack the quality of let's say Hollywood in RIT.
 
As for the latin section , three guitar songs in a row might be a bit much, so one could go.
Illuminati deserves a big audience so it stays, as does the whole final section, it's perfect, and yes I was as shacked and appaled to learn that Candy Shop made it yet again to the setlist, but let's be honest, like on MDNA, it's choreo rocks, so it deserves to stay.
 
As for her banter, I can see why this can be shortened (at least from the sydney shows) but please not to much, her interaction with the audience is what partly made this show great and earned her the great reviews she got and proved her to be not just a disciplined robot, but an engaging performer. So the banter stays

Don't wanna put any diss on B, I love her to bits, but what I've seen from her tour she's in full MDNA mode, all show, no interaction, no soul. So for a live experience I'd vote for the Queen or the Boss.

don't believe the live albums/compilations count, for LN albums are an excuse to tour, so every studio album has a tour attached to it.
The full details we'll never know but as far as I know there's still one album and one tour to come, and according to the contract it should be within two years. don't really think that will happen though

well to each their own, but I don't love DWT and I surely don't think it's cohesive (talking about segments that make no sense, performing 60's pshychedelia in an industrial punk segment anyone?) Not saying it to bash anything or anyone, but it's just a bit confusing where all the RH hate comes from.
It seems to me that every recent M project that doesn't fully satisfy tailor made needs reminds people of projects they liked better, but the funny thing is that when DWT came out nobody liked the setlist, then RIT ignored the album and that was bad, then confessions, no confessions people actually liked I suppose, can't see why ;-) then S&S was not theatrical enough and too tacky, then the ultra big MDNA was too big and she was too robotic, I mean come on! In three years when she isn't ignoring the post 80's (apart from human nature, deeper and deeper, voguevoguevogue, secret, don't tell me, music, candy shop????, erotica, drowned world, ray of light, frozen, take a bow, hung up etc.) we will be complaining there arn't enough 80's songs and she shouldn't ignore her roots

I do agree with both of your points...
and I think that in more open and flexible kind of shows, a little less coreographed and perfection-oriented, her stage presence gets stronger and stronger and I can really feel her carisma and personality. I love the most when she gives them both, vision and spontaneity, and RHT did it.
