    On the upside, maybe she’ll start adding songs back into the set list and open with Crave at 10:50 PM

    Yeah, sorry, I know there is a lot of insider information right now going around MTribe stating that the show was cut due to her injuries, but let's be real -- This is like the Boy Who Cried Wolf syndrome. At this point, it's hard to believe there is a legitimately acceptable reason that she shortened the show. She's notorious for being late and cutting segments of the show, as has happened since MDNA.
    I don't blame fans for questioning, and I certainly don't blame attendees for being upset that they got less than a complete show. I would have been livid if she had cut part of my show, especially since I found Dark Ballet and Human Nature to be some of the best performances.
    That said, I'd be curious to see how Vogue worked as an opener. Bet that was a more energetic opener for the crowd.

    I love her with all my heart but this has been a problem on many previous shows. Not just the Madame X Tour.
    Is it really so hard just to be on stage on time? It is unprofessional and I'm sick of fans acting as if it's cool and she's a rebel. No it's not cool and it's unprofessional. People have work in the morning or other plans and it's just not fair.
    I love her, she's my icon. I just wish she could be on time and not have to cut things. The same happened with the Rebel Heart tour in Manchester.
    It doesn't put me off seeing the Madame X show but I can see why people get annoyed and don't bother going.
    If she was late on due to the injury then I think she really needs to take care and forget putting on a show for us and rest!

    I’m sorry, but Frozen is one of the most overrated moments of her entire career lol. That shit was not *that* mind blowing in person. I much prefer the RIT performance if she’s going to go with a minimalist approach.

    Just curious, if Madame X is not her worst tour, what would fellow M fans say *is* her worst tour? I couldn't possibly put one of her other tours lower than this one.

    Was just watching MDNA...what an incredible show. And yet, it is a very polarizing show — Somewhat for the actual show itself, but substantially due to her behavior outside of that.
    Which got me to thinking —
    Do you think she’d be revered as the world’s greatest performer still and bringing in crowds like she used to during Confessions and S&S — even MDNA — if it weren’t due to her diva behavior?
    I mean, even the Confessions Tour could have been seen as an awful show to critics if it were to have started past 11 PM. It’s front-loaded with the new album, and the only real hits in the first 75% of the show are Like a Virgin and Live to Tell.
    If she were to return to her professionalism both on and off the stage, do you think she could restore her touring reputation, her touring budget, and return back to the Madonna who put on mega force shows up until MDNA?

    She was so beautiful and such a sweetheart here
    The Celebration era (if you can call it that) was kind of underrated, in a way:
    * S&S Leg 2
    * 2009 VMAs
    * David Letterman
    * Rolling Stone Cover
    * SNL with Lady Gaga
    * Radio Interviews (Kiss FM)
    I remember when I first heard Celebration and thought it was going to be an instant smash, another Hung Up. Sigh.

    To be fair, I was watching The Confessions Tour recently, and she didn't dance *that* much on that tour. I think she could still pull off a show like that today if there were a few modifications. Some of the most stunning performances had minimal choreography on her part (Future Lovers, Jump (minus the bridge, which wasn't overly impressive either lol), Live To Tell, Forbidden Love, Like It Or Not, Lucky Star...)
    She needs to go back to working with a creative team that knows how to play up her strengths and retain the "Madonna X Factor" that her shows and music used to have. She doesn't need to do aerobics on stage for 2 hours in order to impress an audience.

    One pure pop album, disco vibes but with more modern sound, no auto tune, no vocader, well maybe a bit but nothing too much, no rappers, no feauturing, just Madonna, no grillz, hair on a side, something like for her interview from 2009 for Celebration compilation for the UK. Lyrics should be more like Confessions/Erotica mixed together, it can be sexy but deep at the same time. Stadium tour, 40 concerts are enough, she does not have to proove anything anymore, but to just keep creating history, cus she is DA KVIN! Amen.

    She's injured and trying to push through.
    She's at least giving SOME fans the chance to see the show, without having to cancel the whole thing.
    There is nothing damaging or unprofessional about wanting to honor your commitments toward your fans and the people who work with you.
    And while it is infuriating to have your show be canceled at the last minute, fans need to see beyond their little bubbles. She's not cancelling shows because she is too old; she is injured. And that is no laughing matter when your BODY is your source of income and your means of creating.
    She is trying to deliver the goods. Why is everyone dramatizing and establishing these over-analytical diatribes as to what she should do, and the damage being done to her reputation?
    There is no damage being done. Injuries happen, and as a performer, cancelling shows is unpleasant and disappointing as well. People need to stop assuming things when only having part of the information. Stop the drama. She's hurt and performing when her body decides that it can, which is a struggle in itself.

    What would it take for Madonna to have a proper comeback, Confessions Era-level, in 2020/2021? She deserves one more big era.

    I have actually. Every tour Confessions-onwards, minus S&S. We can certainly have a difference in opinion, but to imply I haven't seen these tours myself to understand that they're "amazing and unparalleled" is a little silly.
    And many fans have felt otherwise regarding the Madame X Tour in particular, myself included (who has seen nearly everyone live, too). Yes, I did go live. Multiple times.
    It's not that I'm comparing her to Cher as to imply one is a better performer than the other. It's simply an observation that Cher has a pretty demanding international arena tour schedule at 75, and it's odd that Madonna, who used to be such a health zealot, seems to have dialed it down quite suddenly post-MDNA era and has had such a string of health issues as of late (remember, she's been using the cane since at least the Grammy's performance in 2014). And that I never thought the day would come where we were discussing her inability to even venture out on tour. That's all.

    Don't you think it's awfully odd that she's deteriorated so quickly in performance ability, though? I just want to point out the differences in these two performances:
    Cher Believe Tour Finale (53 Years Old):
    Madonna MDNA Tour Finale (54 Years Old):
    And yet we now we're here discussing Madonna retiring from touring...at 61...I mean, 7 years after what she was doing on the MDNA Tour?! That's unfathomable to me.
    The difference in Madonna the performer pre-2012 and post-2012 will always be one of the most fascinating mysteries in her career to me...
