if you don't mind, without voting on Ghost Town just yet, i would like to add a small comment. i watched the Ellen show live with my Mom who does not really like modern music. i think she probably stopped really listening to modern music in the 80s. also she is also the same age as Madonna. anyway, she really enjoyed the performance of Joan of Arc which i believe is the same broadcast. Just a random anecdote i always like to share. i think when Madonna does Ballads she can connect with the Older audiences who may treasure the "original" Madonna vibe... like when Jimmy Fallon asked her do Borderline with President Obama, there can be some middle ground. although i do not want her to pander to the masses. i love it when she is divisive and true to her intentions. omg once again i am rambling. i will watch all of the videos you posted and pick my favorite. thank you for the quality and thought provoking content!!!

Under Warner, it may have been a single. She didn’t want to make it a single. It didn’t fit what she was doing overall. You can tell because people requesting it struck a nerve and she finally addressed it at one of MXT shows where she clearly didn’t like the idea. With Hard Candy she wanted Candy Shop as the lead single but being a lead single, I imagine Warner a great deal more say considering promo was in the middle court. But then you have Music where she wanted Impressive Instant and they wanted Amazing as fourth singles and then it was a stale mate and nothing happened outside the promo remix for Imoressive Instant. 

Oh wow. You should try to sell that before the market crashes even more 😂. It’s really such a sham for the rich to get richer. I can’t believe people are buying into it. So bizarre

I couldn’t agree more with everything stated. When I tell you she must’ve tapped into my brain to make Madame X because it’s legit everything I wanted.
I got into her catalogue right when Rebel Heart came out. And I slowly fell in love with American Life. I desperately wanted her to hire Mirwais again and wanted her to make a political album due to the Trump years, I knew she would have a lot to say. And of course I wanted a return to the visuals she delivered earlier in her career and a persona like the old days. And I literally got every single thing I wished for. I don’t think an album will ever again hit every single hope I could have. And the cherry on top is I got to meet her twice. We got:

A great album, sadly misunderstood and/or ignored (by many fans, too).
The fact that after more than 35 years working she was able to do such a body of work... amazing. I'd like to think time will be kind to "Madame X", let's see.
