To start with, it's not properly a tour. It's a theatre mini-residency in a few selected cities.
Overall it just doesn't compare with any of her previous tours. This one is a theatre show experience while her tours were massive shows in gigantic stadiums or arenas.
As it is done in a theatre it is much simpler. It is also more intimate. A unique experience.

She's trying to make Coronavirus about herself. 3rd day they're "rationing food"
    Shameless. Disgusts me.

Madonna and children go to the park. Suddenly she realises the only kids in sight are David, Esther and Stella.

I dont think she's happy that the tour is nearly over. The stage gives her life. But defo this time it's different, with the injury.

Yes, I'm saying she's physically weak. She still has a great stage presence - like I think I said in my concert review but  - to me, because of the INJURY - she appears much less powerful physically.
Now we know that her dancing has been shrunk to little or nothing (The only real dancing routine she has is in the Cape Verde section, some kind of Tango, and Batuka - where she's married to the tune) -  probably because of age - this is NOT a problem!
It costs me a lot to say it but yes, because of her INJURY, her dancing is WEAK. Even when seeing her getting up and down the piano one thinks "ok now she'll fall"
No one - i'm sure - would ever think that back at the RH Tour.

I think eventually she'll do a permanent residency...I know she said she'd rather die but...remember when she used to mock Cher for wearing wigs? Ah well..in 2020........lol

It was really a positive surprise for me after all the reviews about her looking tired and exhausted. From the distance of row 9 (J) she didn‘t look like she was having pain. She smiled very often and made jokes about her „broken leg“. It was a great evening.

But we can't compare Paris Madonna with the beginning of the tour when her injury was just starting to bother her.
Of course she's more limited and fragile now.

It really saddens me that people think she is now some cripple with a glorious past! To some extent, it's her fault: she shouldn't have done the tour on a knee injury because she somehow comes across as weak on stage (her movements are limited and lack the energy that we know..)
But please do look at the Pride performance! It was made just before the tour. She looks and dances incredibly then!
It's the knee, not the age!°°°°

    Concert done tonight.
I wanted to write about it with a fresh mind, lest my memories fade away.
I've been a Madonna fan since I was 13, I am now 36 - which means I'm past the adoration phase typical of our younger days. I think it's important to say that. Tonight I saw her live for the second time in my life, the first one being her RH Tour.
The mobile-free experience is great. It allows you to focus on the show as a whole, no distraction.
Seeing her take the stage with God Control (I adore that song) gave me a real adrenaline boost. I can only describe my emotion right then as something really intense.
She sang great, nearly all songs are entirely live - contrary to what I had read. It's true that the autotune gives more harmony to the lot, but very little pre-recorded vocals this time (I remember hating them back at her RH Tour)
A real highlight of the show was to me Batuka. The music is married perfectly with the performance. Really a good one. Very powerful.
I didn't like her costumes, minus the Cape Verde and the I Rise sections. I found that her other costumes weren't particularly fitting or enhancing her shape. That said, she looks incredibly beautiful.
I somehow missed the athletic Madonna of the golden days throughout the show, but she still has a great stage presence. That's undeniable.
Medellin brought the house down..the floor was literally jumping.
Come Alive and Future didn't make it for me, maybe because the show is really long and intense so by that that time one gets somehow tired.
Like a Prayer was a real beauty, and same was Frozen.
We got a treat to a brief section of La Vie en Rose + a choral version of Express Yourself (not sure if the latter is actually part of the show). €2k for the polaroid selfie went to some girl who apparently has been selling all she could so that she'd have her cash tonight...I still find that moment tasteless, sorry but hey! As long as they're happy.
    No warm beer chat tonight.
I found all of her dialogues funny. I love her humour.
This show is a must-see. To be able to enjoy Madonna in a simpler scenic performance really is a new experience.

Thank you for existing Madonna. Your words and your art tonight really touched me.

People saying Guy O isn't to blame when he's her manager.
Who should we blame for the failed perfumes, gyms, material girls stuff?
How's mdna skin doing? we literally haven't heard about it since it started to be sold. remember those cheap adds she did for such expensive and premium products?
Of course Madonna is also to be blamed but then i stop to think...and it's been almost 4 decades. It's okay if she doesn't do well anymore. I'm just sad that she couldn't do well into her 50's and now 60's.
I'm just at that stage where i'm happy with whatever i get honestly. The album was still good and the tour as well. It's everything else (literally) that's going wrong.
No matter what, i'm curious to see what's next for her. I mean...movies aren't taking off, touring...will probably not happen for 4 years (at best) which would put Madonna at around 65 years old. Like it or not, this tour might be the last one where Madonna is actually doing some choreo and people need to be able to deal with it. You can take care of your body all you want..but aging does happen.
I really think next tour is a greatest hits one and more like a concert with a decent band and her vocals on full display. If there's one thing Madonna is showing with this tour is her choreography work is slowing down but she's finally giving her voice the attention she needs. And i really can't imagine Madonna in front of a huge crew of dancers just standing still, can you?

Don't know why you guys always critisize Guy, tour or album sales
If M hasn't been at the top of her game charts-wise in the past decade it was only due to 2 things:
    -ageism (fact)
-lack of a powerful single (sorry that's a fact too)
She still is an amazing artist with a legendary legacy and who cares about popularity after 4 decades of career? Guy isn't the reason behind every failure. The business is tough. She is a survivor, a warrior!
To me the decision to keep on with the tour was hers and hers only! No one could have forced MADONNA to continue the tour on an injury, come on!
