Exactly what I thought, I take it as a plausible rumour actually. The sound of the Music Mexico city rehearsals was very drum and percussion oriented and the Anita feauturing voices make think of a Faz Gostoso performance. It's going to be huge, the crowd will be insane: a Carnival moment on the Copacabana beach. This also means a possible new costume. I can see it happening before the LAV/BIM finale, wich will surely be there as she asked fans to learn the coreo steps.
EDIT: No flying cube apparently, I can't see the tracks in the higher structure of the stage (I think it's safer honestly). There will be some other changes then. LTT could also work walking through the different platforms, my curiosity is for ROL.

Saturday's got to arrive soon, I don't know if I worked it the right way, but I'm registered on Globo and set my VPN on Brazil: the point is that now I have brazilian people invading my YT dashboard and trying to sell me things in brazilian in every adv before videos and, when I get to italian online news sites, google insists translating everything in portuguese

It's a flight and a makeup session, I mean, it's the Met Gala not a big production. THIS rumour doesn't change the fact M has a song closed with Martin, wich is apparently perfect as a summer single to close the Celebration era, so I still have some hope for something new before the coming studio session (I'm also one of those who think that the new album release will happen in 2025)

I'm italian and I'm aaaaall in for Faz Gostoso to be HUGE in Copacabana: it's a fucking samba and it's Rio, people! (The only risk is her starting to twerk honestly
) I can see a three songs prefinale kinda Cranival section with Faz Gostoso, Music and the Max Martin track premiere (or something more from her cataologue ... I mean, how was that Candy Shop did not enter in this Celebration thing, come on!)

Back to the setlist for a moment, if we'll get - as I presume - an officil release from Mexico including Rain, in Copacabana for a worldwide audience she could perform Frozen. It's a major hit, the performance works very well and with Express Yourself and Music, if true, her major hits are all in.

Ok this is NOT gonna happen or, better, it's definitely hard this could really happen, BUT we're 5 days from the show now and, let's face it, it's the perfect moment to start being delusional everybody
So I'm gonna go with my first "what if": what if one or two of these not performed tracks are BRAND NEW SUMMER SONGS??? What if this final celebration show will set the start of the new June/July release already recorded???

Said that, I'm really eager to have the chance to listen to her in an interview. She's not doing this since time cause she was touring and so many things happened, her tale of this year in a proper, serious, detailed interview for a US chanel for example. Not a Fallon ass shaking kind of appearence
I mean, I'd like to listen to her about how she feels emotionally, her pre-death experience, how it was to get back to all these songs to create the show and why she chose to produce a celebration concert without any other work to promote, about the creation process and how the storyline came together, the meaning of the Rio concert (in Italy the quote "I know this could be the last time I'm travelling and singing in many countries so thanks not just for tonight but for all these years together" is starting to spread ... and my eyes get wet each time I read it). So I'd like her to celebrate this whole moment with a proper, intimate interview.

I won't say they never had connections, but they spent many years fighting with other fan sites, trying to claim they have "exclusives" when in many cases, they didn't. They also spend a lot of time disproving those they rival, just to cause friction with those sources. It's sorta sad because at one time, I do believe they were a website with great connections with a lot of great info, but they ruined that by trying hard disproving other sources that were actually correct about things.

I see. I'm not that deep into these sides of the thing actually. Now I understand better what you ment. I simply get the news by them on FB and reading this forum, so now it's clearer thank you.

Still, I'm not bothered by it, because at the end of the day Taylor Swift being a huge successful entertainer is the last thing I'm concerned about in this complex world of far more horrible and nasty people who are out to annihilate a population of people who they don't agree with.
I agree with everything. I don't think people who love her have bad taste, that she is a negative character or that her success is concerning in any way. I just don't see anything interesting myself

Ahah, it's true but let's be honest and recognize that they can't be aware of EVERYTHING. This deal was strictly secret, looking at the promo campaign Itau and M released and still nobody even suggested anything for weeks after they shot at the Opera theatre. DM had a lot of infos this time, about the tour announcement, the graphic theme and colour, the setlist, the theatrics. It can also depend on the kind of contact they have in the production. People who work on the artistic part, if the deal is secret, could not know anything themselves untill it's time

Well, I just read on wiki she had her first US major success in 2008 so yes, it's about 16 years. Here in EU, where she still have fans but mostly young people, the perception about her is she's the Gaga of this generation in terms of phenomenon. Anyway, I really don't follow her work or know enough about her, you are right. I tried, as I always do when these people become massive stars, to watch her show and listen to some of her music and I was LITTERALLY NEVER able to finish an entire track or live performance interested (believe me I really tried, the last time with this acclaimed Eras tour ...
)
