This looks like it was entered with the wrong date on some server and got uploaded today by accident. Gotta laugh at them mis-tagging Richard 'Humpy' Vission on Spotify! Still great to have these. I love her version of American Pie , gorgeous soulful vocals and I remember being mesmerised by the cover at the time....
Might be taken down in the morning and uploaded again on Friday with correct label info etc...

Seeing the Frozen mix up at 40 million and her Spotify monthly listeners at 21.3 million is not something I was prepared for a few months ago after years of hovering around 15 million. Let's hope they keep the momentum building with a few other clever releases before her next album of new material. Michael Jackson is at #92 with 28 million monthly listeners so that's the next big target for her... the rest of her peers, bar Elton, she's already way ahead of...

It was absolutely massive everywhere outside of the US. She won female artist of the year at Brit awards. Hung up reached #1 in 60 countries and it was a Guinness World Record. Sorry was also a big hit in Europe. People who don't normally care about Madonna bought the album or at least knew all the singles and some album tracks. The DVD of the tour sold over 1 million copies. It was massive. It flopped in America and Madonna became hung up on that (lol) and Hard Candy was the result

I just came across a video on Youtube and during the very first seconds you can see a very short snippet from what looks like a video of her shooting with Scavullo in 1983. I guess there is more, maybe the whole shoot has been filmed. I had no clue some of her early photoshoots could have been filmed. Imagine if one day we get go see videos of her 80's photoshoots like the Like a Virgin album cover sessions or the Trube Blue one... It's incredible all the stuff that do exist and that we have no clue about...
