It's not the radio, but I play Madonna all the time at the cafe I work at, and sometimes my coworkers will do the same ;)

To be fair, I was watching The Confessions Tour recently, and she didn't dance *that* much on that tour. I think she could still pull off a show like that today if there were a few modifications. Some of the most stunning performances had minimal choreography on her part (Future Lovers, Jump (minus the bridge, which wasn't overly impressive either lol), Live To Tell, Forbidden Love, Like It Or Not, Lucky Star...)
She needs to go back to working with a creative team that knows how to play up her strengths and retain the "Madonna X Factor" that her shows and music used to have. She doesn't need to do aerobics on stage for 2 hours in order to impress an audience.

Don't spread rumors or news without sources, or speculations as facts. The tour is not cancelled and we don't have reliable information.

I talked to another performer on IG in PM on Tuesday. They told me, they know London is confirmed at the moment. But also confirmed they also discover last minute if a show is cancelled.
The most annoying thing is that the rumour of the total cancellation of the tour is a speculation that was basically born here. Maybe it will happen, but on Bible forum they are quoting Infinity. I wish @Fighter closed the forum again until we know more, because I don't want to hear any more people write the same message over and over about it. We don't know anything. We can only speculate over Instagram, which is giving a totally different impression that the tour will be over today.
Honestly, people who say "cancel the rest of the tour and start a new one in stadiums" are no different than people like me and @Blue Jeanwho are still wishing to see M in London or Paris. If the injury is really bad and the tour is cancelled, I think we can forget more music and more live shows for a long time - because of the bad reputation, the possible surgery and recovery, the bad feeling that the whole experience might leave in M and the fans.

YESSS!!! Believe me 4 months is more than enough!!! They can change stuff like steps & definitely not in theaters! KYLIE did this last year & was very successful! Summer = holidays = people are crazy about concerts & music festivals! Unfortunately I know she won’t do this. ???

I hate to say it but everything he wrote is true. It is seriously time to pull the plug on this tour. Articles like this are only the beginning of what's coming from the press. ?

This article sums this disaster of a tour and Madonna's attitude to a t for me: https://www.thestar.com/entertainment/opinion/2020/01/21/madonna-should-cancel-her-madame-x-tour-before-she-ends-up-in-traction.html
"She reacted with a similar refrain: “This time I have to listen to my body.” I can only assume her body is speaking a language she does not understand."
"Madonna is treating this tour like it’s a regular season of hockey and she can be a game-time decision each night. That’s not how it works. A concert tour by a solo artist is not a team sport. Madonna is the only reason anyone is attending."

Just to throw some balance into this drama. I’m in Lisbon, had tickets for 19th and 22nd, both of which were cancelled. I’m disappointed but I’m not angry nor do I feel disrespected. Shit happens. I’d like to believe she’s doing the best she can, like we all are in our lives.

I was SO looking forward to this concert.
I travelled all the way from Brazil to Portugal just to be here tonight, and guess what? Cancelled.
I had a pretty good seat, row D, so close to her.
I'm devastated. Not to say MAD.

    For me it's pretty clear.
She stopped intense sport (which is catastrophic for a body overtrained for decades).
She's done an intervention for her butt at 60 years which destabilized her body and creating additional pressures on his joints. It prevents her from being as dynamic and fluid as she was.
She seems enjoying more drinking than before.
I hope she will recover without too much damage to her body and her mind

Glad she was able to make it tonight and Sodade was once again performed with Dino. Oddly Crave was cut probably due to the choreography more than likely. Seeing the earlier comments, well she is ageing and the body does catch up with you eventually and you can still go but injuries and exhaustion are far more likely. It doesn't mean she's a shell of a performer but just natural ageing process happening. MDNA was probably the last intense choreography we'll probably get from her but since she's not dancing badly or out of sync. Less maybe yes but she's still a show-woman giving her best and doing what she's always done.

There are a number of reasons, she went through a rough patch, both artistically (with RH leaking) and physically with her foot/ankle injury from dancing in high heels. She then moved to Lisbon post RH Tour and she herself has admitted that her workouts these days have taken a back foot. Her priorities have changed, and that's absolutely fine!
Plus, it has nothing to do with age, just priorities. I mean, Mick Jagger is still running around the stage at 70+ like he was 20 lol

Again, it's apples and oranges.  Since 1996, Madonna has always had young children to consider whenever she toured, which was already very often considering her personal situation.  Cher's children have been grown for decades.  She doesn't have 7 year olds distracting her with ridiculous antics pre-show or whatever else M does backstage for hours.  It's obvious from her IG that post-2012, M simply spends all her time with children (from her dancers, to her boy toys, to her literal children) and doesn't maintain the health discipline she used to in the past.  That's her choice and people are certainly free to spend their time how they wish.
Her issues this tour are from an injury that has been present the whole tour and her inability to acknowledge that she needs serious rest, not gallivanting to the beach or parties here and there and getting drunk, regardless that it's her right to do so.  Her issues with PR have to do with how she's treated her hardcore fan base and the new reputation she has as being completely unreliable in when and whether she will show up while still charging more extortionate prices than ever.  Cher's prices don't compare at all.  She'll still be able to venture out on tour if she wants to but not the way she keeps behaving so unprofessionally to so many.

I have actually. Every tour Confessions-onwards, minus S&S. We can certainly have a difference in opinion, but to imply I haven't seen these tours myself to understand that they're "amazing and unparalleled" is a little silly.
And many fans have felt otherwise regarding the Madame X Tour in particular, myself included (who has seen nearly everyone live, too). Yes, I did go live. Multiple times.
It's not that I'm comparing her to Cher as to imply one is a better performer than the other. It's simply an observation that Cher has a pretty demanding international arena tour schedule at 75, and it's odd that Madonna, who used to be such a health zealot, seems to have dialed it down quite suddenly post-MDNA era and has had such a string of health issues as of late (remember, she's been using the cane since at least the Grammy's performance in 2014). And that I never thought the day would come where we were discussing her inability to even venture out on tour. That's all.

You clearly haven't seen the tours because her performance ability live is still amazing and unparalleled.  When she's not injured and at least the early part of this tour before things got so bad, the RHT and Madame X tours were still far better than anything anyone else is putting out, even among younger pop artists (and I've seen nearly everyone live in the past few years).  Comparing her to Cher... it's apples and oranges.

Don't you think it's awfully odd that she's deteriorated so quickly in performance ability, though? I just want to point out the differences in these two performances:
Cher Believe Tour Finale (53 Years Old):
Madonna MDNA Tour Finale (54 Years Old):
And yet we now we're here discussing Madonna retiring from touring...at 61...I mean, 7 years after what she was doing on the MDNA Tour?! That's unfathomable to me.
The difference in Madonna the performer pre-2012 and post-2012 will always be one of the most fascinating mysteries in her career to me...

    Madonna:
    Alcohol and medications uh?
BTW, I am not saying she doesn't have a health problem, I am saying she has a communication problem, being detached from the rest of the world and being surrounded by extremely bad advisors.
Those videos of M dancing is probably the most scandalous thing she's ever done in her career. And, for the first time, she is shocking her fans.

Katy's triangle on her tour is way longer than the MDNA one & the shape is a bit different, MDNA had more of a diamond at the tip.
