It has nothing to do with the quality of his music, it's just a question of age. Besides, a 50-year-old woman who wants to stay in the game is just too much for them.

He's actually promoting the first tome of a trilogy about his work. Now it's about Taxi Girl, his first band. The second tome will be about himself and the third one about Madonna. No trash talk there, when asked about her during the promo he's always praising her, when reminded he said she drove him crazy during the recording of Confessions so he left, he was quick to say that he was the one having a meltdown and  needed mental help then  but she treated him the best one could considering his breakdown. He alsi added that people have the wrong impression of her and they would be surprised to know how real and funny she is and he wants to get the record straight. It will also be about the music business.
And he does not know about his new album. Sorry Kylie fans, and to torture you even more, he said he has two tracks with her but does not know if they are gonna be released since he may record totally new stuff. The reason why he does not release stuff is because he believes streaming fucks the artists, the Madonna tome will be about this too.

What I don’t understand is, if she had such a bad experience with Matthew in the past, multiple times mind you, then why did she work with him for POG?
She was at the top of her game during that era, working with fresh and innovative directors, but why him? If she didn’t want a video that looked like a L’Oréal commercial, then why work with a director who specializes in that lol
What was it that inspired her to hire him. Janet’s Everytime video? That one ALSO looks like a beauty product commercial lol
At the end of the day, drama aside, POG is one of her most gorgeous videos. A top 20 M video.

Why “Human Nature”?  Didn’t he do a bunch of her magazine photoshoots too? What went on between them?

She addressed Dallas while he was in the audience of her April 1st show in Atlanta, mentioning that she was in love with him during the making of Bedtime Stories.
I love that she brought up that album as it's probably one of her most disregarded ones, sadly. It also inspired me to want to look into their relationship a bit more.
I came across this series of photos of them at an NBA game during the period of the album's creation, and the below two interviews where Dallas mentions her.
What else do we know about their relationship (working or otherwise), and was it Dallas that she said had a big ego in a letter at the time, or someone else?
 

 
 
 

I only discovered her during Music era when I was 12-13yo and started to take music much more seriously (the rest is history), so then I went backwards in my personal Madonna journey and very soon realized she is much better singer that media used to say... Ray of Light, Evita, Something to Remember, oh man, was I surprised by her singing abilities 

I love her raw vocals from the first album! Still my favorite vocals.

Madonna is a great studio vocalist, she can really adjust her vocals and create a great atmosphere for the song with her vocals alone.

Bob Dylan sings horribly and he was there. When he sings he sounds as if his testicles were being pressed. Lou Reed was a terrible singer too, and what about the New Order singer? However, Madonna is always attacked for her singing. True, she doesn't have a wide vocal range, but neither do have it  Minogue or Spears, whose voices are irritating, mediocre and unbearable to listen to to me; what's more, what they lack is expressiveness and emotion, which Madonna has in spades. Or at least had,  prior to her ruining singing lessons, which took away all the fun in her voice.
"More" (From Dick Tracy) is a perfect showcase for her singing talent. It's a very difficult song to sing.

What a stupid thread... She showed many times she can sing.

Very early on she had Crazy for You and Papa Don't Preach to prove she was a great studio singer. No wonder she was nominated at the Grammys for both.

She got to be a technically better singer in the 90s (You'll See, Ray of Light, Evita OST...) but I still think Papa Don't Preach is one of her finnest (and she had a cold!).

 

Richard Page co-wrote the song and performed it many years ago with just an acoustic guitar. I isolated his guitar and added Madonna's vocals. Turned out really nice, if you like acoustic stuff.

I’m still speechless. I waited such a long time for this to happen and wow, their energy together was amazing! Imagine how powerful a collaboration would be.

I still can't get over it finally happening. Seeing the posts on social media about Kylie being a guest and thinking "Oh, I won't believe it" then waking up to a friend messaging via the IG about them being on stage and seeing the video posted in the OP. Wow, just magic!  Been stanning M and Kylie since the mid 00's and seeing them come together just made my heart 

This was an iconic moment! I hope Madonna features this performance on the digital and film release. They were truly magic together! 💃💃💃💃💝💝💝

I'd kill for a studio version of this song. Gosh, they are the last standing Queens.
