Rebel Heart was bloated with 19 tracks on it, I don't think rearranging them and adding another 26 would have made it a better listening experience for anyone. A better selection of tracks on a 13 track edition with a better sonic arc would have been the best thing they could have done. A 3 volume opus is all well and good in fan-fantasy land or perhaps for a deluxe re-issue down the line, but even with 13 track version, there just isn't enough 'excellence' to keep the listener coming back frequently. There are some good tracks, but that's about it.

Her streaming numbers are great at the moment, certainly with her top 10 tracks which all do over 100K per day and her top 5 doing over 250K per day. Rhino really need to capitalise quickly with these re-issues and convert listeners from Popular to her remastered 80s albums before the listenership dwindles back to under 20mil. Strike while the iron is hot, otherwise what was the point of building a streaming listenership.

With stuff recorded for the shelved deluxe done already and new material in the back with named collaborators. I wouldn't rule out a 4th quarter release..a single at the very least.)

What a strange release strategy this has been, especially as the video would seem to have been filmed before she got sick last summer. There could be another chart resurgence for them if this is some big-budget re-watchable affair.

I think this thread needs to be closed until something is actually announced. Everything that can be discussed has already been discussed ad nauseam and is here in writing for all to ponder.

It wasn’t limited. They just underestimated the sales.
Anyway, I sold mine. I don’t need to be lifting a needle and flipping a vinyl every 3rd crackly song. The vinyl resurgence is the biggest scam, we just need all the streaming services to have lossless audio. It’s 2024 ffs not 1985. Vinyl went out for a reason.

FEL is really the only thing we could describe as substantial to come our way. (And she still managed to fuck with it, sorry I mean “personally curate” it with CAC being dumped)
That’s it. A deleted picture disc for a song from her least successful era, while cute and thoughtful, is not a big deal. I do appreciate these little things for the die hards  but they really are the windows mite when it comes to availability of back catalogue.
I think it just speaks to how deprived of any kind of back catalogue goodies over the years we've been, that we get semi’s over the potential of an actual 7” version of a song (the version the world came to know and fall in love with) being made available on the major platform for music. While the majority of major artists have had the vast majority of theirs available for years. 
The press release led with the Expanded Editions angle. 
From the leaks she has suffered in recent times and questions from journalists about her vault, she knows well enough what the fans want and that a coloured vinyl with some old already available remixes just won’t cut it with much of the fanbase. 

The point of this Warner deal is to maximise profits. As one of the holy Trinity she can not be the first one to put out a Celebratory landmark edition with no new unreleased songs. Prince & Michael have done it and she knows she needs to too. 

Though they need to get a hurry on. The vinyl reassurance is reaching saturation point and vinyl fatigue is setting in with many collectors. The prices are making people less impulse led and people are saving their coin for the real must haves, often just one from each artist for their collection. I think Celebration vinyl will do really well. 
When they come and when they have the additional unreleased content, ( which let's be honest, is pretty much the bedrock of this entire forum),  she’ll have my money. Until then save the turtles tbh.
