Let me rephrase. I think a lot of people in the press (or in general) give Madonna a hard time because they are jealous of what she has accomplished. Comparatively, most people have only accomplished very little (like a spect of dust lol) than what she has.
But to the topic of Satanism and Madonna. I went to school with this girl, and years later when facebook arrived we added each other and whatever. Turns out she is heavily in to Christianity (to each their own), but, she would always comment on posts I made; references; and during the Living For Love era, she became fixated on how Madonna was a Satanist...and I was like "huh"...she was caught up on the horns her dancers would wear...and I was like...but it's performance art. But nope...she was satanic to her.
I cant wrap my head around that mentality.
Funny, I have a friend who wasn't into Madonna at all and when he saw the Living for Love video he mentioned they were devils horns not bull horns. Maybe we're too blind to see it. It's just symbolism at the end of the day and Madonna loves to court controversy.

I think people are weak, pathetic and boring, and would much rather deflect their insecurities than try to become only a spect of dust than what this woman has accomplished. Jealousy. Doesn't Jesus talk about that? Lol
why would anyone want to become a speck of dust? confused.com

This thread starting to remind me of M's most famous song:
Everybody Knows Me
Everybody Knows Me
Everybody Knows Me
Everybody Knows Me
Maybe she behaves like a tik toker because she wants to have FUN in life. You can be wise and know the atrocities of this world and still make time for being frivolous. I think she dates people who are younger than her because they still have an open mind and a fire inside them. The opposite of what's on display in these comments.
And do you talk to your parents and grandparents?! What do you even talk about?! Surely nothing substantial. I can tell you that when my grandmother was alive we talked for hours and hours and hours about any and everything and it was one of the most meaningful relationships of my life. So your ideas of what a human connection is are quite warped.
There's a big difference between having a meaningful connection with someone of a different generation and jumping their bones. I doubt you and your grandmother would make out. Madonna is the common denominator in all her failed relationships. Like a moth to a flame.

Ricardo Gomes : You do that again because it was amazing! You should look at (???).
Madonna : I don't want to.. I don't care.
Ricardo Gomes : Oh Common Madonna STFU And just do it Again hahaha~!!
If Ricardo did respond something like this then we could say that was just a playful conversation between two close friends.
But what He did was murmured with a face of shame. That's not we can call a close friend. That's simply boss and her bitch.
I got the impression she just didn't want to watch the playback, she was being direct.

Watching the three cut performances on youtube is so gutting, I really want them in better quality. Is this really the best they exist in?

Sometimes the value of authentic items can be impacted when replica bootlegs hit the market - I'm sure it will rise again over time
I have a copy opened and a copy sealed, quite pleased if the value stays at £700

So she's been doing it since the very beginning. And we still are surprised when she uses different shots from different shows in the latest tours recordings... XDDDD
I don't think anyone was surprised, just interested. Shame they scrapped the performances of Angel, Borderline and Burning Up for the vhs release but if it sounded a bit weak it's understandable. This was back in the days before studio recordings were played over the live vocal to give a fuller sound. Still I guess that does mean that there's a chance they have the rehearsal footage of those three performances somewhere, maybe, hopefully.

Maybe they shot the dress rehearsal. If I could go back in time to see one tour, this would've been the one. She was on fire! Gambler and Over and Over are so raw.

it sounds incredible. I am sure they dropped the keys for the performance though.
The average price has dropped almost down to £60 on ebay, I'll bite at £50 including p&p

Yes that's what happened basically. They requested Madonna because they know I am interested, they didn't receive it. I don't know if I had to wait, because maybe they'll get it at a later date. Buying from Discogs or Ebay cost me at least 15 euros more, which is irritating. But I wonder how some shops can receive 20 copies.
I imagine that stores in cities draw much larger crowds so get much more stock

It's not exactly that. My town is very small and they ordered one or two copies, knowing that I would buy it. Not actually "reservation".
I think it's a lot more shameful to order, like, 20 copies and resell them online at double price.
From what I gathered the store request the titles they'd like to stock for rsd and then they're sent a selection from what they request. They don't get to chose how many copies they get so there's never a guarantee they'll get everything.

Listening to it at the moment... sounds good but also "boosted/remastered"? Makes me think again of an upcoming digital release too.
Did the True Blue and La Isla Bonita EPs get digital releases?

My local store didn't get the copy reserved for me, so I had to buy it online. Find a copy in Spain for 29,99 euros, which is a reasonable price, plus 12 euros shipping. But people are selling it at unacceptable prices. I was actually tempted not to buy it this time.
It's against the rsd rules to reserve copies, they won't supply to a record store that does that

Frozen has always been one of my favourites from her, I even used to think this was maybe her best song ever, and now I fear I could possibly start to associate it with bad things thanks to this milking with Tik tok, and terrible videos with Madonna lost in plastic surgeries and silly rap talking.
You know you don't have to listen to these remixes. I've heard each one once so far and thought cute, but I have no intention of listening to them again. It really doesn't bother me that other people seem to like them either. The original is flawless and nothing is going to change that. Stop torturing yourself and avoid it ;)
