"I think there were a lot of factors in choosing the mixes. Her personal preference, variety of DJs but also which mix flows better with the previous one."

yea calf i agree and while we could sit here all day and say "well i liked the x remix better" or "here's 5o other mixes that would have sounded better to me" or "i can't believe that they left off x" or whatever else. at the end of the day (not today) possibly the end of the day august 19th, haha) we are getting a cool new madonna collection so it's a win win 🥇 i have been trying to stay away from the forums but face it. we are in a new era.

I'm really happy with everything to do with this compilation, I'd hate to be the one having to choose what mixes to include but I feel there's something for everyone on here.

Yep, just like Sainbury's exclusive = FNAC exclusive. The only difference is sticker.

The Sainsbury's exclusive comes with a Sainsbury's carrier bag, huge difference! ;)

I just can't believe she's releasing a Greatest Hits album full of songs we've already heard before. I just hope there are no old songs on the deluxe editions or I'm going to be forced to moan about it forever!

Is it nearly August yet? :)

i wonder if madonna com usa is really sold out or if it is a marketing tactic.

i realize today that i paid 50 for the lithograph promo flat when the 2 disc was 30 i could have just bought that and stuck it in a frame. lmao oh well maybe the litho is numbered or something, haha. i am not trying to collect every single copy this time just the box set but i like the standards art. also i was wondering last night did playground not hit number 1? someone remix used to be my playground and put on youtube i love that song lol

can't imagine a club mix of this used to be my playground :s

It comes cheaper getting the one from Amazon US, the shipping is just $5.71, you ended up paying £32 for the album, when Rought Trade is charging £36.99

With the cheapest p&p it comes to $49 with VAT. I'll wait for the UK amazon I think, I always worry about the vinyl getting warped or bent if it's travelling overseas in those flimsy cardboard packages but thanks ;)

Personally I'd have preferred the 50#1s compilation to have been all 7" edits rather than new remixes

I mean, fuck my ass and call me a bitch. So happy right now :p

But Angel, Material Girl and Into The Groove were all included on the RSD release Dance Mix five years ago.

You're right I forget about that one lol, I guess we probably won't get the Japanese EP for that one then

The label seems to be doing the RSD Releases in order, with ‘True Blue’ releases and most recently ‘Who’s That Girl’, so my guess would be ‘Remixed Prayers’ and I would be totally happy with that.

They still need to go back and do the Material Girl/ Angel/ Into The Groove EP as well, but I would love Remixed Prayers. Be nice if they split it though so Express Yourself remixes got their own release

Why wanting things that already exists... If you want (old) remixes, they are here... Easy to grab. If there are new (good) remixes, it's so much butter. Old stuff is already there...

Pretty much every single has unreleased edits that to this day remain unreleased. It would be nice to have some of them on one compilation. RSD is all about vinyl releases, not whether you can download them off the internet. Besides, if the recent Frozen remixes are anything to go by, I'd struggle to listen to a compilation of 50 new remixes more than once.

but the 7 ''edit has been published on vinyl isn't it? they should have kept the master tape, just like the extended mix and dub of Who's That Girl, which we don't have in digital

Personally I'd have preferred the 50#1s compilation to have been all 7" edits rather than new remixes
