Ughhhh, more bloody autotune This is the first Dua Lipa song I have ever listened to, and I must say, its not that impressive (I hope the original version of Levitating is better than this remix). The beat just sounds rather flat and boring, and it doesn't seem to have a lot of energy. Whilst this is more welcome than Madonna's appearances on 'songs' like Champagne Rose, it's still pretty poor and forgettable. EDIT... Just listened to the original.... much better than this mix

There was actually a healthy dose of promo here in the UK. We had the tube ads, the billboard posters with the big red 'X' over the album pictures plastered all over the place, the big illuminated 'Mx' thing that MTV installed in London (I think it was also in NY), the Graham Norton interview, as well as the Graham Norton after show interview, and also Eurovision. Yet, despite this, and releasing the album on multiple formats and special releases, the album still died a death instantly. It was handled sooooooo badly.

In fact, I no longer consider Madonna to be my favourite artist. My favourite is Bjork, and I also listen to Prince, Tori Amos, Pet Shop Boys, MJ, and Massive Attack.... as well as many many others. 12. How do you want Madonna's next album to be? We need more maturity in her music, and no more pretentious patchwork efforts that barely appeal to younger audiences... it simply doesn't work. An album of great songwriting, consistency in its themes, real voices, real instruments, competent production, and no collaborations.... that would be the dream.

2006 was probably the last time she had high general praise with her Confessions era. After this, the star started to fade in the eyes of the public with only sporadic moments of praise and rapidly decreasing sales figures. Now, only few people actually know that she is still releasing music... if you can call it that lol. She is now in 'legacy artist' territory, and she needs to start embracing that if she wants to see sales and popularity increase amongst the GP.

Tori Amos did something similar to this years ago on her American Doll Posse tour, she made recordings of all the shows available for fans to purchase.... and prior to this, she made select shows available on CD for her Original Sinsuality tour. I recall that Goldfrapp did something similar. Madonna really doesn't realise the goldmine that she has if she made her live recordings available to the fans... fans love to have recordings of shows they attended.... be it audio or video

I stopped following her on Instagram because of the DIRE content she posts on there. She is doing her image no favours at all. I much prefer pre-Social Media Madonna.... it was nicer to have that air of mystery about her

I'd go back to the 80s and re-experience it all over again. It was the time where she was at her highest peak and pretty much ruled the pop world. It was a great time to be a fan

The first Madonna album I ever bought. Though it's not my favourite, I still find it to be an incredibly solid and enjoyable record. It's brilliant. Almost 35 years on, I still listen to it often

Totally agree. Whilst these two tours may not be the 'spectacles' as were the tours which followed, these two tours showed a real and raw Madonna... a Madonna full of energy and passion... and these tours are the only two touring occasions where she has performed 100% live. Personally, though these two are not my favourite Madonna tours, I rank them a lot higher than RIT, S&S, MDNA, RH and MXT.
