I need your opinions: What are your honest opinion on Madonna's "MDNA"?

Would some of you consider "MDNA" to be Madonna's worst album ever?

 

That would be Hard Candy, followed by Like A Virgin.

MDNA - a lot of potential, a lot of flaws. Generic songs, some awful lyrics and unfinished songs aren't something what Madonna should do at this point.

 

If it was more mature, serious, artistic, daring and passionate, it could have been her best album since ROL.

it is great album for sure!! I love it!

 

But wrong choice for singles.

 

for example turn up the radio is not a single material.

-What do you think of this album as a whole?

Not her best. Rushed. I don't listen to it at all.

 

-Which songs clearly stand out, 3 years later?

3 songs stand out to me because I still like them when I hear them. The rest is pretty much throwaway material to me... (ashamed)

 

-Has your opinion changed over the course of 3 years?

No.

 

-What do you think of the promo/singles choices/aesthetic?

The videos were nicely shot. I love GGW both song and video. GMAYL - great video (although pretty silly) but I hate the song.

I would have liked Gang Bang and I'm Addicted to be released with stunning videos.

 

-What did you like, or dislike, about the MDNA Tour?

I hated that they butchered Open Your Heart with that Katakan Trio (or whatever their name was). The whole segment that was supposed to sound acoustic, a group of people having fun, was a waste of time for me.

I didn't like the anti-climatic closing number. 

And whoever decided that Love Spent was a good song, fully produced or acoustic has no taste whatsoever in my book. (sorry)

The overall concept, moving from darkness to light, overcoming negativity, I loved that.

And, I didn't mind the guns at all. They fit the whole concept during that segment.
