    can you post a screenshot comparison with the Celebration version? I only watched that DVD once and I don't have it... with the comparison I did with the Mark Romanek collection dvd which was the best I could find back in the day at least when it came to compression, this upscale looks much better. Screenshots below I also think as far as upscales go, Madonna's are not bad at all. Even the Björk ones are surprisingly bad. It's obviously not what I want, I want proper remasters but I'm not about to expect miracles from her team at this stage.

    I'm not sure what source they used but the colors and detail are a great improvement from the old days. The colors and contrast especially in the white background sections which always used to look overblown, are very clear and very natural. The details on costumes and hair are clear without them looking artificially sharpened, there's real new detail there. I really love it. I would love to have it without the youtube compression though.... hopefully an itunes or tidal release?

    TBH the rape case and the criminal complaints against him have nothing to do with her, so there probably won't be many positive discussions in there. The thread is back there, do you mind if I close this one?

    I dont know if anyone thinks Stuart Price was god but i think people miss things being so polished and professional and even though some versions weren't that inventive, he still made some really incredible versions of songs and the shows flowed flawlessly. Her shows were THE shows in the industry in the 2000s. Recent years pale in comparison, and I do agree that the quality of her shows has suffered and perhaps that has affected her live reputation, but the late starts and albums that didn't do so well also didn't help. Still waiting to see Madame X though.

    It looks Ok..... We got lucky with Hung Up cos they already had a HD master laying around, or at least a version that was higher quality than the distributed video. I remember a few clips leaking. I hope they have some other newer videos in that quality.
