This will be a very unpopular opinion especially here. But I’m not that excited about the reissuing of her old albums. I am not that interested in buying something I already have. I guess they may have a few previously unreleased songs, but a lot of those have leaked online already. It’s kind of a waste of money to me to have to buy a whole album just to get 1 or 2 previously unheard songs.

She also did it on Septimo de Caballería, in Spain. I don't really remember about her singing but she looked fucking amazing!

Well the recent Prince box sets all come with DVD's or Blurays. So maybe we will get The Virgin Tour DVD included with a Like a Virgin boxset. Or Confessions Tour Bluray with a COADF boxset. I think these kind of limited collectors releases are more likely.

But this is a totally different outlet than a cable provider. Also, Sticky premiered on Sky1 in 2009, then released physically in 2010.

the RIT upscale made it somewhat watchable. But the camera work is mediocre at best. I wish we had a full pro shot with the purple costume…!

The RIT was properly filmed in Lisbon and a DVD was planned.

I genuinely think people are putting too much faith in her biopic. Madonna hasn't made one well-received movie and she 100% has too big of an ego to be able to approach the story of her life in any hint of objectivity.
I don't want it to fail, but I'm not holding my breath for it being good or bringing about any sort of renaissance for her.
Also, just because someone has a biopic out, it doesn't guarantee that it will be a hit.
I'm not trying to bring anyone down, I just think we should manage our expectations here a bit.
I'm just glad that the movie is likely responsible for her finally taking action and paying attention to her back catalogue and giving us all this stuff we should've had already years ago.

Does anyone even know how much I love the Madame X era! I want it to continue forever! I’m so scared that she’ll never be able to top this era again. It was legit everything I could’ve asked for! Persona change, Politically charged, the autotune is orgasmic, Mirwais return, amazing videos and documentary. She made this an event! And somehow I was lucky enough to attend that MTV interview thing and talk to her during the tour. This album was legit made for me. I finally heard American Life and Frozen on tour. We got to hear her sing Portuguese and Spanish. The manifesto is AMAZING! This era will never die! It deserves the respect that albums like Ray of Light get. It’s ambitious, important, and brilliant!

For sure it's all about close ups, expressions, hair etc... I'm not worried about the reshoot. I'm more worried about the following 13 months of editing after that...

It's all about the edit. Hire a good editor to use the tools and you'll have a good processed footage after all. Jonas would have made wonders with it.

Well I've said this before, I agree. But not about the DVD being cancelled. I don't think Tears of a Clown will be released based on the dark times she was in when she created it. The Rebel Heart tour was huge, tears of a clown was small and personal.

I mean, I love LAP but we already have it like five times - six if you count the pro-shoot video from Stockholm during the last tour.I might be the only one, but when artists film their concert, I like to see the original setlist so, for me, the show should have included Who's that girl and Ghosttown as the request song. Or even Take a bow, given the fact she never performed it live before this tour, but not LAP once again despite being one of her trademark songs.

It's gonna be delayed Brendan, at least until september. There's no way they're releasing it in the middle of the summer.

I'm not thinking on multiple angle editions nor even Tears of a clown like extra features, I just want everything sorted out so we can have the tour on bluray. I still cry over the RIT fiasco. Crossing my fingers.
