I've been following this thread like a hawk, and even replied a while ago and didn't get a link. It's ok, he'll post when he's ready. 
I basically consider it a gift of something I adore but not a necessity. I think the work that has been put into it (which is probably harder than a lot of people ever have worked in anything) is ultra valuable to him and he wants to just have his time before or if he even posts it. Fair enough as it's his editing work and has poured his heart and soul and cash into this.

The SEX book, Erotica (song and album title), A Body of Evidence and American Life (song, album and video) are absolutely related to the decline of Madonna's popularity and success. 

I've always personally counted I'm Breathless as a studio album since I clearly remember seeing the album and the official OST album side by side in stores in 1990. There was also another album of just the scores from the film. I'm Breathless is a concept album mind you, but I still consider it a studio album, even though technically it probably a soundtrack. 3 soundtracks for 1 film, lol.

My favourite edit has got to be the edit of Borderline (aka video version). Although it is edited for length compared to the album version, there is also a big difference in it's instrumentation. I prefer it more than any other version. I don't care for the added bells that the extended dance mix or TIC version contain. Therefore, if you want to be technical, it really should be called the single mix/version.

I adore the entire debut album, but my favourite track is Physical Attraction. I could listen to it every day and not get tired of it. 
Regarding the sound of albums though, my Like A Virgin German CD (with the yellow target design) is not only the first CD I ever bought in a store when music stores might have 10 only you could even buy), it's also one of the best sounding CD's I've ever owned. Immensely crisp and clean sounding. I had downloaded the HD version, and it and it pales dramatically in comparison. The CD itself is quite thin. Almost like there's no protective plastic over it or something.

Reading the fantastic post "MADONNA DEMOS TAPES" I've seen a tape with an early draft for the Blond Ambition setlist..The tape was recorded (apparently) with songs from  album versions and commercial remixes. This is called "concept albums" (from wikipedia: generally consist of a collection of songs created by a singular artist for a specific music release, in this case a Tour). 
I love the idea of these "concept albums" being a draft of the future tour setlist using the regular songs. So I wanted to hear the original concept of these tours before being transformed in the final "tour versions". Sincerely, I love the final result. If you are interested in them, here they are:

I took it as her "doing it first" recognizing the insanity of how people get shocked by something that isn't actually shocking... 
In other words, she knows what it's like to have the media flip out over something that they shouldn't. 

You cant go around correcting what everybody thinks.
They can think what they like.
When you know who you are and you know what youre not, you dont feel the need to justify it.
And if people are going to assume the worst automatically, thats their bullshit, and it says more about them. So who cares?!
