It’s laughable, that this is the woman who is all about “destroy the patriarchy!” and “breaking the system,” yet she threw a pride party for people with blue check marks on Instagram.
While her fans are left to make the trek to the cess pool that is Times Square (which is a ghost town) to watch some silent videos on 20+ screens.
Its elitist, and snobbish. I don’t like that. She should practice what she preaches.
At the end of the day, I love that she did something for Pride. This is a woman who spent 8 yrs married to a homophobe, and didn’t attend any marches, rallies, charities, fundraisers for anything lgbtq+,hiv/aids till the tail end of her crumbling marriage. I’m here for this new Madonna. But the elitist attitude is tacky. She literally put out a video saying that covid was “the great equalizer,” yet here she is, mingling with the bourgeoise, trying to sell some overpriced Polaroids.
That’s my only complaint. I don’t hate the look, and I don’t hate the performance. She’s having fun, and I can’t hate on that.

Because this is a cult. Its sad to see how people lose the ability to have your own opinion and respect other points of view

first of all I loved the performance and the outfit. And then, I don't need/have to apologize to anyone for my IRONIC post. You can call me whatever you want, because I can assure you that I'm not a misogynist.
In the pictures present in my post there is a brave woman called Angela. In 2010 she became famous in Italy, just because she loved dancing in disco and I huge respected/admired her, she was so brave (because Italy is full of misoginy and racism). Everybody started to love her. I compared them, in an ironic way because M outfit remembered me Angela..and not because I had fun of her.
how can I have fun of the woman who saved me from depression in 2005??

true, she doesn't have to be serious all the time and that's why I instantly fell in love with Bitch I'm Madonna, Unapologetic Bitch, Holy Water... etc
but B-Day Song sounds like a big greasy fart to me. the lyrics and the melody are annoying as fuck and uninspired like never. I regret she included it on the final tracklist (even tho it was a "deluxe" track).
funny how everyone's taste and appreciation are different tho!

American Life is one of her masterpieces to me! Madame X as well. to a lesser extent but still
everyone loves Like A Prayer since 1989, even non-Madonna fans. I only enjoyed the live arrangements and I started loving and worshipping the original when the remixes were released on Apple. 30+ years later is original release and 15 years since I discovered her music...
