  1. I've always hated the fact that she always denies it was a step back. There's nothing wrong with redeeming yourself. An artist needs the public approval. She lives for the applause, applause, applause... Oh, no! Wait
  2. I even think some sections from the book are plain boring
  3. Just bought CAETANO VELOSO song book. You guys should seek him. Madonna bowed down to him here in Brazil. what a genius

Never heard of him. Gotta check him out.

  4. If she were to make a cameo @ the Super Bowl I think she'd be preparing or teasing us on Instagram with hashtags like #artforfreedom so to me it's a no no
  5. I'm actually not in a rush for a new album. And I don't think she's putting one out soon. I'd bet at least 2023, post-covid, free-sex world again, as it were the 1920s. With hope renewed.
  6. First one (fucsia blouse) is from MTV Behind the Music The one was from MTV Asia, I think it was recorded in Singapore
  7. Not only leftists (which I am and proudly a commy), but any fake-woke person: ARTISTS SUPPORT IMMORALITY!!!!!!11111!!!!!
  8. Ditto. I don't think people are to blame though. I think times are essentially different. I did not mean to harm or shade Madonna either, but I think one wouldn't need to read much into what I said, the sentence itself to get my point.
  9. this message is rather nice but this sentence itself hasn't aged well in a metoo era
  10. Not to offend any US citizen but there's no USA to invade itself in order "to protect its democracy," is there?

They're (establishment) now in a world of hurt the same way they've done to every "3rd world" country in the globe.

      I said my opinion

Yeah you did. You really didn't have to. You can have your opinion, but you can't "have your facts". Just because you are allowed to voice your "opinion" doesn't mean you have to. Especially when your ill-informed "opinion" makes you side with neonazis and terrorists. That's usually a hint you're effing wrong. Inform yourself, then come back to the schoolyard.

Hilary Clinton 'lost' an election with nearly 3 million more votes.
      Joe Biden just about wins.
Trump said let me in the first time and is being dragged out this time.
The entire electoral system in America is 'ucked.
Disputed elections happen all the time.
      There's nothing to navigate.
Hilary Clinton didn't invite her supporters to invade the capital.......

  11. Being married to guy Ritchie and becoming Mrs. R.
  12. I mean, I guess I'll be damned by what I'm about to say, but I mean no harm. I was born in 1995. I became aware of Madonna around 2002 when I was 7 because I heard "Music" on TV. I started following her then but more strongly from 2005 onwards. I've deeply known her catalogue for about a decade now. In 1994, I guess in spite of the #1 hit she still suffered from antipathy from "Karens" due to the "Sex" and "Erotica" debacle. Maybe fans wouldn't comprehend the hysteria her sexual approach caused outside our bubbles. I know for a fact of two people that couldn't hear Madonna at home otherwise they'd get beaten. I've heard this song was not a classic outside America either. She's not the first song people remember after hearing her name. I've seen people chanting "Sorry," but not "Take a Bow". That and all the neglection of her catalogue brings us to a scenario where she no longer seems to sovereign. That's weird to think about.
  13. Idk about you guys but I def think Madame X is an average album with a rich background which makes it stand out as a whole. The mix of Luso-African music with vocoder makes it exquisitely interesting, weird and appealing all at the same time... The reviews were already kind of good but if I may I'd bet it would stand the test of time... let's wait and see

Thank you very much in advance!

  15. Could you possibly re upload your Secret Vinyl?

    It's unavailable :(

    Thanks in advance!

  16. She should look up for inspiration. She was 61 here.
  17. Didn't Madonna know Wallis Simpson and the former Duke were Naz* supporters? They were public friends with evil himself, no wonder why W/E was such a failure (I doubt people knew too but lord she WROTE that movie)

She does have the tendency to romanticise historical figures. Joan of Arc is another example. I mean, that girl would be on heavy medication pronto these days. :)

Joan of Arc was a martyr, she did fight at war, but she's been sanctified. I don't doubt she'd be even today. Look at that Italian kid.

Wallis and Edward were nothing but Nazi supporters.

      There's a big difference.

Uhm, he was Edward VIII, a king who gave up his throne to marry the woman he loved. It's a fascinating story. And yes, they were Nazi sympathisers as well and, having read some books on the subject, quite unpleasant individuals overall. That doesn't change the fact that they changed the course of modern history and their story is fascinating. Saying they were nothing but Nazi supporters is simply, well, reductive but if seeing a world in completely binary terms helps you sleep better at night I'm happy for you :)
