I went wide angle this time for most of it. Uploading files is annoying. I bought the red hoodie, it is very cozy fr.
Enjoy bitches. Somehow mama found herself back in section 4 row 20 so these are same exact angles as the best night of my life. Those who run seem to have all the fun.

Madonna turns 65 in just a few hours... a very special birthday considering what happened just a few weeks ago and that she's celebrating 40 years in the music business this year.
She's still here, she's still rocking (enjoying her first worldwide hit in more than a decade at 64/65 with "Popular" and about to start her new tour) and that's pretty much a good reason to be happy and celebrate her.
So let's get the celebration started! Some media already did today, a day earlier:
New York Times birthday article: "Take a bow, Madonna"

Madonna turns 65 this week. During her 40 years in the spotlight, she has been loved and loathed in equal measure. It is safe to say no other artist of her renown stirs such passionate debate. At the heart of it lies a basic misconception as to who she is. Though she is most often described as such, Madonna is not merely a blinding blue star in a vast celebrity galaxy. She has accomplished what few artists — and even fewer female artists — have done: She has changed the world. Though you wouldn’t know that from her press coverage.

Can we just have a moment to clarify that the first set of Madonna fans were Gen X ers not the Boomers. That was my parents and they really didn’t care. Madonna was hitting the 10-15 yr olds 1985.

Gen X is a Madonna fan, a Whitney stan, a listener of Michael Jackson, they are a follower of Prince, (of Prince)

funkydita reacted to thegoldencalf in for those who didn't attend MadameX tour, how do you feel now the that the trailer is out?
You can only see a concert as it was intended for the audience if you attend the actual concert.
What you call “over editing” is a video interpretation of a concert.
You can always tell she puts a lot of effort into these concert films and they’re spectacular.

This is the real problem: "MY REAL MADONNA" (Express Yourself, Rescue Me...) exists only in one point of time and space, and she is gone forever to be "YOUR MADONNA" or "OTHER MADONNA".
I mean, in 1986 hardcore fans wanted "Like A Virgin 2" Madonna, but she gave them "Live To Tell" and "Papa Don't Preach".  She gained new fans and she started to be hated by her own fans. The same in 1992. Many fans wanted "Express Yourself 2" or "Vogue 2" Madonna, but she gave us "Erotica" or "Bad Girl". Again, she gained new fans and she started to be hated by her own fans. And the same happened with Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, Music, Confessions, Hard Candy, MDNA, etc, etc, etc.
There is no one Madonna, every era has a new Madonna, with new fans (who loves "Bitch, I'm Madonna", and hate "Like A Prayer" album) and old fans turned in haters (Who loved "Like A Virgin", but hated "Vogue").
This is why I still love her and enjoy her music. Because I don't expect "My real Madonna" (from 1986 to 1993) again. Just a new Madonna with new songs to be enjoyed. At this point my reaction is always "I love this era" or "I don't care about this era too much, waiting for the next" but I still love her (she give me new music every two or three years).

most of other artists throw a post , a flag and a song somewhere to support Pride.
Madonna carried the flag last year. Madonna is inspired by gays and has stated shes a gay man in a woman's body LONG before the current talk about gender identity. Madonna NEVER insulted her gay audience. Madonna refused to be chained down by patriarchy her whole life.
Madonna made a special movie for us gays this year.
I dont like saying this but if you have problems with her for whatever reasons , deal with it. No one needs your negativity.
Cry all you want about the early years, they're past and they''re over. She lives her life however she wants to and leaves it up to you to either choose to follow or abandon.
Also you are not here by force or a fan by force. I feel sorry if you cannot appreciate the things she does. again and most of all i despise negativity.
Not living up to your expectations whatever you think those are? well life does not in general. At least there's something called future that we can choose to go with.
Love and peace and good luck Madonna for 2night!

funkydita reacted to Candy Perfume Boy in Shake Your Head - Madonna Vocals HQ Remakes & Originals
    Hi,
So we know in 1992 Madonna refused permission to Was (Not Was) to release her unused 1982 vocals on the remix track "Shake Your Head (Lets Go To Bed)", so the remixes by Steve Silk Hurley had to be remade with Kim Basinger vocals. The full 12" remix with Madonna vocals was issued by error on "Now Dance 93" on vinyl and cassette only (these have quite poor sound), and the Madonna Dub was put on the CD "Somewhere in America there's a street named after my dad". The Kim Basinger version was then put out as the 12" remix and also had two official edits; the 3.45 "Single Remix" on the CD of "Now Dance 93", and just to really confuse everyone a different longer 4.00 edit on "Now 23"!!
In the folder there's all the official Madonna and Kim Basinger Versions, plus I removed Kim Basinger off the Now 23 edit and Single Remix to create Madonna and Ozzy versions, plus a solo Madonna Single Version. I also remade the 12" Remix with a CD rip removing Kim's vocals and overdubbing Madonna's vocals from my cassette rip. I'm really pleased with that one, at last it has a more pristine sound instead of crappy analogue rip quality.
So to avoid confusion they're all well labelled!
    We have;
    1. Single Remix - Madonna only vocals - fanmade
    2. Single Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
    3. Single Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    4. Dub - Madonna & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    5. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Official Cassette Rip
    6. 12" Remix - Madonna & Ozzy - Digital remake with CD backing track
    7. 12" Remix - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip
    8. Now 23 Edit - Madonna & Ozzy - fanmade
    9. Now 23 Edit - Kim & Ozzy - Official CD Rip

    Hi Guys,
I'm afraid M wont release the DVD soon, so, I decided to take matters in my own hand. This is what I've created so far. I know it's not perfect and it certainly is not even close to being finished. I just wanted to upload it to Youtube so that you get an idea of what I'm trying to produce. I was thinking about continuing with Come Alive or Frozen (still undecided but right now the last part is where she explains the lyrics for Come Alive)

I don’t disagree with your experience and perspective; I simply have a different one. Sycophantic isn’t an adjective often aimed in my direction, but if you find my decision not to spend my time on a Madonna forum complaining about her poor choices and how she should have done things differently and to my personal taste proof of my lack of critical thinking, then I can’t really argue with that. I will continue to focus on her accomplishments because I prefer to find the positive in all circumstances. It isn’t personal toward anyone in particular that I stated what I did, but in all fairness, I think my point stands if you actually go back to the beginning of this thread and see how it degenerated into another revisionist shit show about how much better Madonna’s career could have been if only she’d listened to her fans. Anyone around long enough on the Madonna forum circuit has been reading variations on this same topic for over a decade...perhaps even longer if I recall how American Life was perceived once it wasn’t performing as well commercially.

I’ve never been a follower. I think Madonna is as flawed as she is brilliant. As far as I’m concerned, she gives her all, and that’s plenty. I find it weird that I have to defend myself on a forum devoted to Madonna for not avidly ripping her a new asshole for things none of us can change, and that she did the way she either intended or was limited to for reasons we are not fully aware of.
I do happen to find it particularly sad that her incredible stamina in spite of her very serious degenerative injuries isn’t what her fans and the general public have chosen to focus on. She may have canceled to the disappointment of many and annoyed people with her consistent lateness, but I personally try not to judge without walking in someone else’s shoes. Imagine what it felt like with no cartilage in her hip area and a busted knee, performing a show as close to her artistic vision as possible that she invested blood, sweat and tears into...to the point that she might never be able to walk properly again, let alone dance. That may have been foolish of her, but it’s nothing short of extraordinary in my opinion. Ultimately, she will pay a higher price than any of her fans for that folly, and so I guess that’s what drives my point of view.

Pages later, it's safe to say we have come to one simple conclusion. A vast majority of those posting on here don't like Madonna as she is, and think she'd be more appealing (to them) if she just returned to being a one-dimensional marketing ploy solely incorporating the fundamental infrastructure of her Warner Bros. years.
Either you love Madonna, warts, scars and all, and seek to understand her creative drive in spite of the way she is marketed, sold, exploited and denigrated via tabloidism, or you find yourself at a constant impasse of disagreeable disappointment.
I'd venture as far as to say that the contrarianism of her fanbase is as much to blame for the pervasive negativity surrounding her public image and her dwindling popularity as ageism, sexism and politics. In comparison to what Madonna has done in the last ten years alone, I imagine most of these contrarians are totally underwhelming.
